  1. Here is a lovely list of some things that are random in Runescape. /thread ?
  2. Maybe in reanimated death, they've made a pact with Zamorak. *pats the dirt around the just-filled pothole* I honestly have no idea why :P
  3. RS history is one of the most intricate that I've seen in games out today. It's just not obvious to the average player. To appreciate it, you have to do a lot of digging in the lores, quest dialouge, etc. Yup. RS is notorious for its dangling storylines. Meeting History, Making Histroy, The Dig Site, The Temple of Ikov are all quests I can think of off the top of my head that deeply involve history, most notably around the God Wars era. Which is why most Tif'ers get mad because Jagex seems to refuse to end most storylines. God forbid they have to start new ones! It's a frustrating aspect, but you're either gonna keep playing or quit because of it. Make your choice now and save yourself the 5$ membership. '-'
  4. I use just about all the guides on Tip it equally. The only exception would be the Treasure Trails guide. I only use that a lot when I'm in a clue-hunting mood '-'
  5. Well you better or else a random might catch you when your off guard, Miss Post makes no sense #-o How not? She's saying, "Get used to it or a random will catch you off-guard," meaning you might die to the infamous evil chicen  I don't know, but I felt like the frequency of randoms got increased with this logout timer. I'm sure they haven't, but it was odd getting barraged with the Sandwich Lady, Drunken Dwarf, Niles, Giles, and Capt'n Hand all within an hour of playtime. O_o
  6. That's pretty high, man. Just because it's easy for you, doesn't mean it's easy for others. I'd say that your total level is a better indication of your in-game "dedication" as it were than your combat level.
  7. Depends on the location. I can get to almost anywhere in RS within five minutes unless I'm at Barrows or Bosshunting. Most of the time it's, "Okay...I've got this. Gotta hurry up!" If I'm at, say, Dagannoth Rex, it's more like, "OH [cabbage] OH [cabbage] HEY CAN ANYONE BLESS MY GRAVE PLEASE OH GOD NO NOT MY GUTHANNNSSS!!! :'(" I don't pvp, so I don't have a pvp-specific reaction. Though, I'd imagine it'd be similar to, "OMG HE CHEATED WTF!" '-'
  8. I didn't have a weak password; mine is an alphanumerical string. Neener neener.
  9. You're right, I don't read it. Usually don't have to unless something's glitched or updated mid-week. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. Do yourself a favor, look for an organized PC clan. If you only do w144, you'll go absolutely insane.
  11. This update was to stop dictionary scripts' effectiveness. They've only blocked the 500 commonly used passwords from being used. A hacker or a group of hackers could knock those 500 out in a day. You see it as useless? I see it as a security measure they were absolutely ridiculous not to adopt sooner. Don't know why anyone is whining or complaining about this update. Admit it, you're just burned because it wasn't the release of the sailing skill.
  12. I would personally trying to gather enough money for at least 1k chins at a time. On average you'll use about 1.2k chins per hour, I think. But wait for more people to give their opinion about this before you do :3 Also, get full void if you haven't already. It really helps save cash when chinning.
  13. I wonder if you only have the chance of encountering the egg if you have 72+ summoning. Today is the around the 4th time for me of doing that particular D&D with no luck and I don't have 72 sum.
  14. Da Latios is drunk. Take advantage of him while you can. \
  15. Three times is not accurate enough to make a claim. The only claim you have enough proof to substantiate is the monkfishing technique. Barbarian Fishing WAS one of the best methods in the game, but this has since changed since the Cut-All option. It was made substantially slower, as already mentioned by the above poster. I can't comment on the Rasolo fishing method as this is the first time I've ever heard it.
  16. Quite [bleep]ing truth right there. The problem with the ge database is it's graph-based display. That, and the one day trends. Visual representations of one day trends need to be ELIMINATED, and only list the text-based info. Yes, it is against the rules on forums. It's always been against the rules on forums, because there is no way to ensure the sale actually goes through. But forum offenses and ingame offenses are comparing apples and oranges. They are not the same.
  17. Aye the versatility of familiars is a HUGE inconvienence. They're essentially creatures designed to be used for on-the-spot combat and not much else. There's very little "adventuring" to do with your familiar out. This is also counter-productive with familiars like the Granite Lobster, Ibis, Fruit Bat, Rock Crab, etc who gather items.
  18. Buy emeralds and gold bars to make emerald rings. Sell on the ge at mid price for a 5gp loss per ring. Alternatively, enchant the rings and sell them on mid at the ge for a 20gp profit per ring. This is assuming you: buy the emerald, the gold bar, and the cosmic runes. EDIT: I don't know the exp rates, sorry. All I know is that I did this from 68-70 crafting to save some money. :$
  19. I regret not sticking with a lot of my goals. I regret not learning how to pk, going past 70 def and missing some of the best money of my RS career (at the time) as a barrows pure 3
  20. There are far better woodcutting exp per hrs than Willow. Teak cutting comes to mind.
  21. You're upset about getting a black mark for breaking the rules in an unofficial chat run by several player mods and rule-abiding players. Lolwut.
  22. I personally think this is just another matter of misinterpretation, much like the "niggles" thread on the RSOF. ^ Probably the most accurate estimate of this whole skill-a-year shenanigans going on. This also matches what has already been stated by Runescape Mods: this is an update year.
  23. I dunno, I think they'll level off at 4-5k. They've been going up for 3 days straight now. On another note, third attempt at this D&D...no egg yet. I want an angry chick :(
  24. There would be people who would buy this if they were just starting to play. Jagex wouldn't hurt from doing this, I think. And it might give them more up-front money to start hiring more Content Developement and Quality Assistance team members...maybe.
  25. *cough* Personally yeah, I think we do. But these sorts of topics are better suited for the RSOF Suggestions - Skills forum, OP.
