Green dragons... take hide or not?
I suppose the ring of dueling is slightly faster than dungeon ring, but it add an extra 200gp teleport cost per trip... I think I will try this method for a while and time it to see how it goes. 258. There's 8 teles per ring, not 10.

I wish Runescape Christmas events was worth looking forward to
Sorry, why are you doing quests if you're not paying attention to the story? Furthermore, why are you complaining about the lack of ''magic'' if you're not bothering to pay attention to the story? I'm talking about the environments. Why would I be talking about how the reward looks when it's only a 1/5th of the entire event? They try to every year. They succeed for the most part. As I've explained exhaustively before, you're not going to please everyone. They change scenery around for holiday events. I don't believe it started with penguins. They've done so for the past two years. What exactly are you driving at? And again, I don't personally find that 'magical'. Again, can't please everyone. I don't know of how many different ways to say that.

"Sonic Colours" Discussion, New game announcement!
Yes because going RAILRAILRAILSCREENJERKRAILFASTWHEREAREYOU?DOYOUEVENKNOW?NOYOUDONTITSASONICGAMEIN3DLOL! is 'dream' state of controlling. If you've played the original sonic games and then tried the 3d counterparts, I cannot imagine you'd be saying that. They have no balance of speed and control. I've yet to play a 3d sonic game where they've achieved this. The Sonic Advanced did a much better job of this balance while still having the good ol' sonic speed. Compare that with, say, Sonic Adventure 2 (any of the outer-space levels) and you've got to be out of your mind to say otherwise. EDIT: Lol I'm staying classy with a two month late reply.

Wilderness Idea
This topic ignores two very key facts: 1) We have PvP environments only for pkers. Jagex does not care about clans, nor would they want to expand upon their worlds because it would endanger the PvP environment and allow for more opportunities for RWT'ing. This reason spawns two consequenses: They give clans CWA to eliminate crashing and separate pking and clan fights Clans have been degraded to 'minigame' status 2) The changes to PvP, such as +1 only and Bounty Hunter was to preserve the crippled form of Pking and the loot-on-death system. Instead of creating more damage-soaking pk'ing gear, they instead created no-protecting worlds to stop 1-itemers from having a monopoly on things. Despite their efforts to tweak pking, its still rampant with flaws that are simply not quick fixes. But they have nothing to do with clans. There's really no reason for Jagex to change these things and quite honestly I don't understand why you would want to alter the loot-on-death mechanics in a clan pking/warring context. Furthermore, I don't see how this helps clans in the least. Even if we went straight back to the old-wilderness, so long as CWA exists, wars will continue to be crippled. It's not a cure-all for the community. It's not a cure-all for competition. It will not bring randomers into deep wild, because there is no need to. It will not 'un-concentrate' power from the top 10 and re-distribute them to smaller clans in order to stimulate growth. These things will happen naturally and further involvement from Jagex runs the dangerous risk of only hindering this process. We're doing well now, as a community. Let's not have them tweak anything else, please?

Finally giving in to cravings
L Apparentl psn is really bad anyway... Which is why I recommend that if you didn't want to go online, PS3 was completely viable. But if you don't like the exclusives the PS3 has right now and more importantly you want a better online experience, then by all means, you've got all the knowledge you need to make your next purchase. Enjoy it! This thread isn't a console vs console troll thread anyway.

I wish Runescape Christmas events was worth looking forward to
There is over 150,000 Runescape players. Surely few of them can come up with a suggestion for a nice Christmas event, that is simple (little work for developers) and great at same time. I don't find that any more 'magical' than anything else. The thing is that the impression a piece of content leaves on someone is highly subjective. Lots of people like the holiday events. Lots of people don't. They're not going to please everyone, not on this. It's impossible. Whether or not you're content with something like this lies too much within the individual. Holiday events were never going to create long-lasting content, so that's already disappointing most of the older players who have been waiting years for a certain piece of content. They're usually graphically stunning, but not a lot of people will appreciate that, so that cuts out a portion of the population again. They usually have a cute story, but people may not like a story, so that cuts out even more... You're going to get what you're going to get out of these things. If you don't like them, your world won't be shattered. If you want them to be more magical, perhaps suspend your disbelief a bit more to truly enjoy the environments they create. Or of that's too much, just ignore them altogether. They're really not that significant.

Finally giving in to cravings
Go for the built-in wifi slim if you plan to play online. If you don't, get a Ps3 unless you have your heart set on 360 exclusives.

Jagex's new bot punishment: Level resetting
So, wait...I thought there was a picture a few pages back saying this was a bug? Is this still happening as an active form of punishment? And are they saying anything about it yet?

Tears of Guthix
Something like this happened to me while fighting Bork, if I remember correctly. It's certainly upsetting but it's not completely overhauling my gameplay experience. I don't mind waiting for a fix, but I would like to know if one is coming. It is something that should be addressed.

New Tip.it Site Icon?
All good things has to come to an end, to get replaced with another good thing i guess? Personally i find the icon nice, but it's getting old and it's to plain:S I wouldn't mind seeing the icon get a 'face lift' of sorts but to see the whole icon itself change is something I'm against. Call me old fashioned, I guess.

Spirit Shields - They won't be beaten
They are compared to because they're the best. Everyone's looking for what will trump them or what will be acceptable, cheaper alternatives. And it's completely fair to do so. We might be playing this game with a very short term focus, at times, but everything will be surpassed eventually. The day when gear and complexities stop improving is the day the game ends. And with Jagex's profits ever-increasing, that's not bound to happen any time soon. So when you see people comparing gear to the existing high-tier combat gear--gear they've been using for years, which feel like a long time--it's only normal. And it's normal to hope that you'd be playing to see the next tier to be pushed through. It's not going to stop. And it's not wrong. It's normal. It's the progression of time. And it's certainly not a mistake. Deal with it.

So the same material won't be as funny because he won't be everyone's iconic rebel? That's kind of silly.
