Not the first time Jagex has used other things to base RS content off of, RS pretty much has the Dark Soul's armour of black/white knight.

I fail to see how this is any different than completing buy offers. The items still come in to the game and the money 'paid' still leaves the game. I also fail to see peoples major aversion to the small supply surge causing a bit of a price dent - the reason they are stuck in the first place is because their ge values are too high compared to their related products. They NEED to come down in value in order for the market to move correctly. It is different because money is going out but there is a chance of a sigil coming into supply, it's a money sink and doesn't cause a lot of sigils/shields to come into the game suddenly.

Depending on the amount, filling the offers can create a massive supply of sigils. Have a charity shop, instead of the well, people can donate, the amount donated by a person then allows them to have a chance of recieving a certian item which has been stuck in the ge e.g. sigils. This way money leaves the games and a large supply of items doesn't enter the game.

Which is everything wrong with this. Once again, Jagex failed to find any semblance of balance. Challenging content is good-- Vorago is challenging, but not impossible, even if you only have t80 gear. Thus far, only the the best of the best, with the best in slot gear, can accomplish this. Even though THOSE [bleep]ing people don't even need any of this because they have already got so much wealth they can never spend it all. Second day, people still need to learn the mechanics and have the time to actually spend on it. It is not the weekend yet.

What loadout do you use?

If people actually bothered to read all of my points instead of seeing one and then focusing it, you would see that I have said the problem is with teams and LS/CS.

It does have a decent drop rate and is not hard at all, it is people like you who are constantly saying its too difficult which puts people off trying.

1 hour of QBD or 2 hours of frosts, Leik has a QBD guide somewhere I think, might be on his blog.

Yak adds extra kills, takes a few secs to fill up and stops banking for a while, it is best to use it.

Because I go for speed and tank everything.

Yak extends trip by around 1/3 which makes it around 30mins, just enough for overload flask.

Except that Vorago takes 4x as long to kill as Nex does. Thus, drops may as well be 4x rarer. Yet there can be multiple fights of vorago on 1 world. But are there usually that many per world? I admit I don't really know but if few are going to vorago then it doesn't really matter how many can. And the reason why people aren't going to vorago is the LS/CS system. If/when this gets sorted, a lot more people will go to vorago.

I was using around 4 rocktails a kill, depending on the gear you might use a bit more but the downgrade should only result in 3-4 kills less a trip,

I was in a rush, apologies for missing that bit. And a large part of the reason for that update was Nex would become a boss which hardly anyone went to, the time put in would not be worth the small reward when frost dragons and QBD would be better cash.

I don't think you remember when nex armours got updated, before it happened Mod Mark pretty much told everyone to buy nex armours because the damage update would make them great, they spiked and hugely messed up the market. Also, vorago's drop aren't that rare. Nex 1/32 or 1/24 with ROW roughly. Vorago 1/40, drops are worth more and ability for instances. Problem isn't with vorago, its the CS/LS system.

You don't need to kill anyone for the memory, it has a chance to spawn randomly when you go into the next room. Have you checked with the guy for the memories, Skaldrun I think.

It's 1/40 for orb or wand and more like 3.5b/80kills so 43.75m/kill., 29m/hour. Reducing the price of seismics by a factor of 10 would bring it down to 2.9m/hour, less than Frost dragons, Glacors, Nex, QBD, KK and even some herblore. The price is only that high anyway due to the price people are willing to pay, this is the community's decision not Jagex's, they should not interfere with the market. Look at what happened with climbing boots, the nex update, it all screwed a lot of people over. Vorago isn't hard, its just finding a team who can boss with you for a decent period of time.

So having money now means you are a gambler or lucky, so I couldn't have earned the vast majority of my wealth by other methods? Kiln was easy money, no luck just skill. Nex we had lower than average drop rate slightly but we just kept at it, so slightly unlucky with that. Flipping items, knowledge on which items were good to flip at the time, no luck or gambling. Frost dragons, of course, need to be extremely lucky to get those frost dragon bones! Selling floors in DG, required huge luck to be able to do 15-20 min floors regularly, everyone knows it. So can you actually point out, from those methods that I used to gain money, where I gambled and/or got extremely lucky? On topic: Won't be a good first few tries at Barrows, I imagine a video or two will be up quite fast showing the different attacks so it shouldn't be too hard from then to have a good chance at it. Only problem I see is the team, having the people on and available to do it.

Not something you can actively pursue really. Special voyages automatically scale to your maximum region, so staying in an earlier region won't help you get easier scrolls. The only thing you can do is make sure you prioritise scroll voyages to ensure you complete as many as possible before the regions unlock. That is what I meant, try to focus on scrolls instead of distance.

Is that with drygores, torva and all the usual stuff as it used to be? Keep meaning to get back into pvm and qbd would be a nice place to start. I'll maybe leave out torva for a while what with barrows coming out though Yeah, kills are like 5-10 secs slower though in bandos/tetsu helm/torva boots + gloves. Torva isn't really needed, just slightly faster and maybe a bit less damage, nothing major.

21,981k 71 kills, around 310k/kill and like 7m/hour.

Stay in the earlier regions for a while if you are going to get a lot of scrolls.
