Herblore advice
Yeah, my inventory with torva/drygores/yak is 1 ovl/renewal/super antifire/adren flask, 4-5 super restores (depending on aura) and the rest rocktails. I use yak since I haven't really tested bunyip recently, fill that with rocktails. Tank fire waves, first few soul spawns, maybe the 4 soul spawn if you want fast kills, dodge the extreme firebreath and if you can't do the final stage fast enough, kill the timestop soul. Borrowed image from google, this is where you want to stand, this enables you to avoid the damage of a fire wave with the opening at that spot. Penance or vampyrism aura, doesn't really matter, you won't need a renewal with the penance aura. This should get you 20-25 kills an hour, my current average/kill is around 310k but that is with 59 kill average.

8-12 hours of QBD with overloads will quickly make it back.

Herblore advice
For levels: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/herblore_planner.htm For cost, should be correct: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculator:Herblore/Extreme_potions Boosts can be used up to +6 levels however +6 is very rare, brown spicy stew can be used to boost herblore however it can affect some other stats instead, it is also not guaranteed to boost it by a set amount and can reduce the level temporarily. Super restore potions can offset this. Greenman's ale can also be used to boost herblore, +1 for standard version and +2 for mature version, I believe the lobby trick still works in which you boost to the level, lobby at just before 30 secs of overload making and then log back in, this will keep the level boosted.

200M in all Skills
So now people decide what is and what is not fun for others?

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
Melee has more AoE abilities I believe and also SSH just redirects the damage onto your team, it also has lower defence and health bonuses, something like a blood necklace would be better.

I thought the same and missed yesterday's. Then again today I got a familiarisation token so I needn't have bothered anyway. Seems like a decent enough update, my only gripe with it is that I still have to check the quest guide to find out when I can do ToG as it just says "Locked" at the moment... It works on mine

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
I think, not completely sure but, the styles that were most effective were range > melee > mage. Might have all changed though.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
Only unreasonable items at the minute are ascension/seismic and maybe the new armours. The rest are fine.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
No one is assuming that it will be 2.2B forever. It obviously won't. However, it's already been 3 months. And it will probably be several more before it drops to something reasonable. It's ridiculous that we have to have wait several months even after an update is released before we can access it because Jagex sucks at balancing things. Also lots of people are Voragoing at the moment. No, they really aren't. Chance of seismic is like 1/40 kills which is fairly often.
-
Behind the Scenes - November 2013
A lot of people are assuming that the price will sit around 2.2b for seismic wand for a long time, the item is in high demand and there is little supply currently due to people not going to Vorago, not because of the drop rates but because of the LS/CS system which Jagex are looking to change soon.

My thoughts on why the game's community is the way it is
I started playing again after a few months and I've found that the community actually seems a lot better now than it was previously, people were talking in public chat about lots of things, helping each other, building divine locations in a public spot so everyone could get xp.

Best Single Combat Style in Dungeoneering?
Honestly, I haven't DGed properly in around 5 months but when I have done it occasionally now, I find that the damage I receive is hardly much at all so hiding from some enemies wasn't worth it. Teams also generally want the fastest floors possible so mainly DPS with a bit of defence. The setup that I use is P2h/Primal plate/Saggi longbow/Saggi body. The Saggi body is probably not worth it that much and so a blood necklace would be a good replacement.

Yeah, confused me as well until I got my next set. :D

No, you get a daily token and a random token, this can be daily/weekly/monthly and be any of those activities. They can also just be a standard daily/weekly/monthly token where you can choose what you want I believe.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
I understand what you are asking for. What I'm saying that it isn't possible from a business view. The part that I was saying that you ignored was this, which I posted: the point of this game is to get people playing as long as possible. So far, it has worked very well, so much that people who are saying it is impossible to get X item will stay play despite that belief. The fact that people have these complaints about the game not being fun yet still continue to play and discuss it is remarkable. It is definitely possible from a business perspective. In Runescape's own history what we are asking for has been true, and in other games it is also true that top gear is reasonably obtainable. So your assertion that it isn't possible is flat out false. Most games don't require playing for hundreds of hours for one item. Also, this unreasonable requirement doesn't encourage people to get Seismics, it only discourages them -- so how would that increase business? It wouldn't. Most of us are serious players and we will continue playing Seismics or no Seismics, the only question is whether we will try getting them. If they are reasonably obtainable, we will, if not, we won't. It has nothing to do with business. How is a weapon that only like 5% RS can afford and will bother trying to earn good for business? If anything, for something to be good for business, it has to appeal to wide demographics, not a minority of players. There is nothing remarkable or contradictory in partaking in a game or community or activity while simultaneously trying to improve it through critique. Nothing whatsoever. We do it because we like RS and think it could do so much better. It's that simple. I really don't understand where you are getting the only 5% can afford from. Everyone can afford it if they put in the time like the apparent 5% have. Seismics will also drop soon, they will not stay that price, much like nex items. Don't bother. They will cry until it gets affordable with no help by them, then cry again when something new comes out. Even if it hasn't happened for 7+ years (it totally has, but whatever), this is exactly what's going on. Mhmm, I've been reading the last few pages before, only just remembered my password now. It's been like this on TIF for a while now. Always a group of people moaning at having to make money and wanting it easy, saying higher levels were stuck up and people with money have no opinion (unless they want something from that person).

From my experience, SSB is useless at occult and above due to forgotten mages.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
What fun is there when you eventually get the top end gear? You go and kill a boss with this top end gear for lower gear? Having lots of money in this game is also pretty boring, especially when you can afford everything. The reason why seismics are so expensive is because people aren't doing the boss at the moment due to believing that it is a hard boss when infact it is easy and the drop rate is currently very close to the drop rate of items at nex.
