This. The only time I ever heard of any cause to use defensive armour over nex/gwd is being the tank of Nex and for KK. Even then I suspect someone good at it could probably do it with nex gear (especially for nex). Doing it in nex gear is a complete [bleep]. Definitely this.

A quick google offered this suggestion: "Mix plaster of paris with a food that's attractive to mice, such as cornmeal, flour or even chocolate powder. Vyres are a fast task though, like 12 kills/minute meleeing with blisterwood polearm. Cres' Automatons are very good slayer xp, blood barrage the guardians, should be able to hit 2 or 3 at a time.

The lowest levelled dog things are fasted, they will pile you but should be a fast task. Key is around 1/64 for drop rate. If you wanted to use the keys, the bosses give around 1.9k slayer xp/kill and take around 90 secs to 2mins to kill. I wouldn't bother with the other to be honest.
