Completly remove the top of a mountain/hill and you have a flat table for a good base, or just build in the middle of the ocean :D

Boom: Still need to find the gold.....

For another tower/temple thing I need 1562 cobblestone blocks 1989 stone block (floor) 1444 sandstone blocks 18 gold blocks Have the cobblestone and the stone blocks, just sand to dig and gold to find....

Stone is the most readily availbale block in the game, you need to delve deepish for iron and it will take A LOT of digging to get a good quantity.

Started a new world, flattened a hill down to a good platform for a fort/tower. Harvested a load of sandstone and cobbles and built that, then the game crashed. Got lost and after reading on a forum that clouds go north, i folowed them and found snow -.- Downloaded cartograph and discovered i has went basicially a million miles in the wrong direction, so i found my base, mined and created a compass and made a torch path so i can find my way back. Sad thing is cartograph cant render sandsotone so my tower looks a bit strange :/

Slayer Tower tbh Full melee gear, healing familiar and a few bits of food for when your healer dies, cos the wee bastards that spawn do deal damage over time.

How much of an overhang do you need to stop spiders? Is it only 1 block or more?

That happened to me once a while ago. Was your spawn point the same? Mine got moved about 100/200 blocks when it happened to me. Yeah, my spawn point is where I had started to build the second tower, never anywhere else. So heres what ive got so far: Main Tower: Church: Also have a massive mine running under the tower, and I have removed about an eighth from the top of the mountain to the side.

Is anyone else black screening a lot or having save files wiped**? Very frustrating when youre trying to make a Tower of Babel esque building :thumbdown: **Somehow even after my saves have been wiped anything I have built is still on the map, but i have no items in my invent, is that suposed to happen? Raged earlier when it happed while building said tower, started a new one on a new world (well I thought a new world) and went looking for coal, boom, theres my old tower on the other side of the mountain from where I had started the new one at....

Very good blog and it does bring back memories. When i started playing there were only a handfull of servers, I had no internet access at home so I was stuck using school internet, which took about 10-15 minutes to load the game. In those first few months of playing I basically accieved nothing lol and the furthest from Lumbridge I got was to Alkarid (10 gp to come through this gate??? that'll take me ages to get that money!!) Didnt start playing properly until the later months of 2002 when we got internet installed at home, and actually built a pretty decent character (had 50+ combats and decent other skills) then the account was stolen and banned :/ I made another account and progressed until around 2004/5, started playing less and less then evenually quit until late 2007 when I made this character and now this has surpassed all my previous characters put together, and I am 490k off my first ever 99 :D

1 year plus would be useless. If there was a real vote it'd only make sense if people who REALLY used those features and know what they were about could vote- set the limit at account created before 1. january 2007. Right now, most of the people voting no just didn't know what those features were about, thus there are reasons the current voting system makes sense. It is not a strict vote to determine the next prime minister, rather a popularity vote to see how many people find the page and put their name in the hat to support the idea, and if there is alot of buzz around the idea(as we can all see there is) the vote is a success. Riiiiight..... So people who have been playing from more or less the beginning and created a new character after 2007 have no right to have their say?
