  1. the holly wrench lengthens your prayer potions by about... well, two prayer potions per inventoy.
  2. Also, unless they were using a prepaid card, their mailing address would be in the billing information.
  3. Personally I'd love to see baxtorian falls without having to stand IN them. Well finally be able to appreciate those sweeping vistas they placed everywhere. But still... I'd much more perfer putting all those chairs in the game to use. All those benches facing nice pieceful scenes, and not a a rear to plop on them.
  4. oh, yes, that old mechanic of dyeing capes and goblin armours, and paining your armour... but no one paints their armour, you say. Of course, dur, what member wears rune?
  5. PKers not near abyss? LMFAO They'd camp there in threes and fours, with dark bow specs from the hilltop and berserker barragers charging in from across the river. Runecrafters were mostly unarmed, and with a garentied glory drop that you could step out of the wilderness with and sell to the next runecrafter.
  6. Right, right, WGS was the begining of the end as far as the current gamewide storyline goes. Nomad's is more towards Temple of Ikov in storyline progression. We need to not look at this as an individual quest, but part of a serries that's taking time away from giving us piffanderioussomethingish.
  7. A lot. Lol Someone posted earlier that he had done two full rounds (20 waves) and it was "nearly a quarter full." To the above post: Just a minor correction, the multiple thieving thing applies to ALL pickpocketable NPCs, the ones shown in the knowledge base are just examples, you can derive the formula pretty easily from them to calculate it for any NPC. or you could just open up the pickpocketing tab of agility to see them all.
  8. Well, penance trident wont do for me. 1/60 savings is nowhere near as rune efficient as +10% damage. And anything under 50 in normal combat... well, I can 3 hit anything under 50 with a mystic staff, and not fear about taking it completely unarmed, so not my thing. Penance horn maybe so once I get the numbers back on that for agility. And maybe I'll get me some penanace gloves in there... but since the run update I have to run to the next country to be winded, so probably not. Of course... white whip may just be mah new thing.

People will still see him while rifling through your costume box.
  10. I'd say try going for a crush weapon maybe. I didn't have much trouble with him unarmed at 50 combat.
  11. Actually, the feathers aren't really from inflation, they are from fletching broad arrows/bolts, where it is quite easy to get 3k of each every week, making it both a nice training option, and even a profit as those are among the most used of ammunition.
  12. Sure, iron ore has doubled in price. Herbs went mad there for a bit... but are slowly settling back down. Gems... well, they're just damn ridiculous right now. But these are basic gatherable items. Anyone can produce them, and thus have these fistfulls of cash to say, buy a different one. If you aren't sitting on huge piles of coins (really never a good investment strategy) then you are perhaps doing better to buying higher end items. Whip at 3.4 million coins? Sounds like a lot. I'm not saying it isn't... but... with herb prices, that's a week of managing your kingdom. Or say you have been power mining... it's around 200 diamonds. Not a completely unreasonable number. Diamond at 17k coins and the necklace from it enchanted at 2k coins? A bit unreasonable from the practicality standpoint, but exp is a commodity, and by making these items, exp is expended from the raw materials. But not only that, but tens of thousands of people can make them. It's not a rare skill, so not exactly something you can charge for. The safest way for investments is likely always raw materials, especially if there is always a use, and they never expire. As more coins are minted, that's more coins for people to give to you for them. Your savings account may have suffered, but other than that does the inflation really hurt you? Isn't it easier than ever to rack up the cash to get practical and valuable items than ever before? Please attack my reasoning so that I may sure it up a good bit. Thank You, Time Kitten Vn~

but... max level costume room holds... everything, don't it?
  14. I'd go for telegrab the Stone of Jas from the back window while he isn't looking.
  15. Ya know, the title of this is pretty aggressive. I'm gonna have to counter it. Learn to DRAG your team!!! It's harder now that the portals have shields on timers, but back before then, I'd regularly solo the yellow portal, and whack another til it's 2/3rds life... with straight 60 stats. But today I can pick a portal, and keep the spinners and ravagers down til it's ready to receive the beating. Also, I find the random level 1 boat tends to win far more often than the random 2, possibly even 3
  16. Perhaps most of the people with that sort of cash on hand have gotten them already, and more people are heading to gwd to get their own. The market eventually reaches a saturation point for things like these.
  17. But then again Jagex monitors statistics like how far people actually get in the quest, the array of their levels, and just the sheer numbers that can do it. Last number I heard less than 1/3rd of max combat players that attempted actually got through the quest, and they were considering a nerf. Much the same with the agility challenge for Olaf's quest, they'll carefully tweak the challenge the first week to keep everything balanced, and such is to be expected.
  18. Erm... WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? It's particularly obvious that Khazzard is in skeletal form, all mahjarrat are even more human shaped, and absolutely none have wings, and the entire concept of undead doesn't apply to their race at all. Not to mention Khazzard is the single most talked about Mahjarrat in the game.
  19. the update that hurt me the most... None. All of them have improved my experience. Even the inflation from the pvp drops allowed me to make my way into glorious cashmaking.
  20. I don't think anyone has actually survived being horribly burned long enough to get such a data sample.
  21. Yea, the first time we fought Lucien he was terrible. But the most recent time he could easily kill 2-3 level 197s at a time instantly. Lucien will be harder than Nomad, it's only a matter of time. But I don't think a tougher fight will be released this year. He shall stab the staff through the stone, and wield the mace of jas You may be right, but I really hope you're wrong. Nomad sets a new precedent for future bosses and quest monsters. I'd really love to see what comes out next.
  22. Remember, first time we fouchg Lucien, many of us took him out with one kick to his skeletal nuts. Nomad was a very experienced combatant with a power boost. Lucien is a noob with a power boost... and something that boosts your stats to the pain though shortterm contact, and gives you power over the world itself with longterm. But many of use will still face him unarmed for the lulz.
  23. OMG OMG, this sounds soooo FUN! I hope they don't nerf it before I get a chance. Just look at all these people failing, it's like battletoads all over again.
  24. Thanks for informing me of this botting method, I'll be sure to stop by high value spawns when in the area to check and report and tease and cackle.
