Prices for looks? Really?
how is D legs a status symbol over barrows, when melee barrows legs are another 300k higher in price +upkeep? Personally, I think the dragon skirt goes lots better with the granite top, and I've no chance of getting a dragon platebody before 2 more defence levels... the one item I think legs look better with. And nope, I don't respect people with expensive cars. I respect people with classic muscle cars. If you've got the money, wouldn't you rather have the gas to tear up some road rather than plod along? I think maybe the main cause of d-legs price discrepancy is male teens thinking people will think them [bleep]s (not being derogatory myself, merely surmising the stigma) for wearing a skirt.

wait wait, heavy armour mages?
Melee armour gives just as much negitice to magic defence as mage attack... and it aint hard to hit a naked player while naked maging so... A mage wearing melee armour should be able to hit melee decently and still be a little more safe vs hits, right? Make it impossible vs dragonhide, and disadvantage vs magickie armoured mages... but decent choice vs melee bassed on actuall hits? or is the difference still too big? I might try whipping out my master wand in castlewars melee fights or such now that I've thunk this over. Certainly a consideration for pure pkers. Thoughts?

POLL: How often do you use your Player Owned House?
It's a pretty convienient teleport location, and as soon as I get off my lazy bum, it'll be a magnificent telehub. Certainly something I could do without, but as long as I have it, Desert teleport away!

15-Dec-2009 Blood Runs Deep
Amazing, they finnally managed to prevent people from rune selling for an onyx... only if they'd reverse the last thing they did for that, the damned expensive price on it now.

should i sell obby shield and just use rune defender?
multi combat areas with aggressive creatures such as daggonoths, you would do well to consider the shield. I also find it to give that extra something against rangers. But for most single combat you'll want a rune defender.

Multi Site Steel War 5 is a no.
show up early. No one could log in for over three hours before, we had so many. a lot of the opponents were waiting in other worlds. We still outnumbered them 3 to one on those.

Blarg spawn campers!
you actually expect there to be daggers left in a public game? No runes or arrows either, as people take the whole stats, and you can't expect random people to protect item. And unarmed + damage on death isn't all that deadly. Perhaps the new prayer set will help, but not for everyone.

Mage Arena, for personal achievement.
Welcome to my first guide. I'll be your host, Time Kitten, also known as Kalafai. This isn't so much about how much profit you'll be making doing this, or how fast your exp will accumulate, but rather how to get a good relaxing rhythm, and accumulate your points. This guide is in progress. Pictures will be coming eventually, and I'll be filling in each strategy one by one. Numbers will be estracted from technical guides, but all strategies are found by myself through play. The Mage Training arena, North of Al Karid Dueling Arena. Looks sort of magical from the outside, more from the inside. The Place, history, architecture, and purpose. This section shall give you mostly background as found in the game, and appreciation of the art within. Rewards. Yes, this comes first in my guide. Goals are important with this mini game. Four rewards in particular are worthwhile. The first is Bones to Peaches, a spell that will increase the campability of monsters, and enable much longer stays in the graveyard. The second is the Master Wand, not much it has over the ancient staff anymore, both being of similar power, but I see this as a goal to prove yourself and feel accomplished. Third, is the Magic Book, an off hand item to enhance your magic stat, the reason most people play the game, and an option for making money that hasn't quite kept up with inflation. Fourth, is the infinity boots, the best boots for maging. Details shall be forthcoming. Your supplies First off, you'll need your rewards hat. Don't worry, this will be provided in the lobby, just ask the guardian. Next you'll want a selection of staffs. Mud staff isn't a must, but helps. If you don't have one, dont worry, you can take either an earth or water staff, and a cartload of the other rune. You'll want one that provides fire, either lava or steam or fire itself. Air runes are easy to get, but an air staff will save you a little anyways. Nature runes. Get a thousand or two in the bank. Law runes. Get at least 500, prepare yourself for wasting a few. Cosmic Runes. Lots... let us just leave it at that for now. Now, you could take all these at once, but no, you'll want to leave probably your law and air runes and staff behind, or your alching staff, as you'll need the room during the graveyard. Fashion Yes, because you are relaxing, and in a simi-public place where people to see you, this is important. Don't catch yourself with miss matched clothes. You'll notes that you are required to wear the most gaudy hat that has ever been, but don't dispare. You'll notice the hat has pinks and greens. An outfit with either of these will go well. I personally use the pink dress from the circus. you might want to use green runecrafting robes, carefully considered basic clothes. Green and red dragonhide, santa suit, and anything even gaudier than the pizzaz hat will do as well. The Four Playgrounds Get used to them. Graveyard My personal favorite. In this game you'll be feeding monster in holes, using the bones that adventures were to lazy to bury. But these aren't normal bones, they each have varying values of fruits they give per cast. I recommended having around 60 hp before you take this one on for any length of time, but at 10 hp, you can get it done eventually. 1 Pretty ordinary. 2 Skull, one set of ribs. 3 Darker bones, with ribcage. 4 Bright bones, with shoulderblades. This playground is one it's actually possible to profit at, as every 16(check number) fruit you deposit, you'll get either a water, earth, nature, death, or blood rune, along with additional exp. With my strategy, each cast will get you 20 fruit, and go a long way to making up your costs for this particular task. For this area, you'll need mud. Mud runes, earth runes/staff and water runes/staff, or mud staff, as well as nature runes. To get a good rhythm, you'll need slots for death, blood, earth, water runes as well, even if you aren't using them, and to not fill more than eight inventory spaces with them. First, the layout. You'll be brought to the center of the room, and on each side, there are deposit holes, and each corner a nitch with a pile of bones. The piles at each corner start on a particular type of bone, and cycle through in order (1,2,3,4) for every four you pick up. I don't know if this is effected by other players, it's not a popular spot, and I've never had to notice. I'll even recomend my personal favorite spot. The north east corner of the room will stand out with value four bones. You'll be using the pile closest to the center. Grab eight, and you'll have four 4 bones, and four 1 bones. Cast Bones to Bananas for twenty bananas, then run a few steps to the nearest deposit hole, accept your reward. Run back to the SAME pile, grab eight, and you'll have four 2 bones, and four 3 bones. Cast Bones to Bananas for twenty bananas, then run a few steps to the nearest deposit hole, accept your reward. Repeat an infinitum. Ouch, my head! Oh, yeah, the damage, must mention that. Every 5 seconds or so, the room will fill with fresh bones teleporting in, and you'll take two damage. You are told to eat bananas to mitigate this. Don't. If you have say ten hp, do one load and come back later. Do some other of the activities for a bit. As you reach 50-60 hp, get yourself down to 10 hp doing this, slap on HP Restore if you have enough, and do one of the other activities while you recover naturally. Nearest alter is at the duel arena. You'll do this anyway til you have your first 200 points, and can get your bones to peaches. Bones to peaches costs twice as much, but gives food that heals four times as much. So now, after enough loads of bananas that you worry about your health, at 10-20 hp left, you can cast bones to peaches, eat a few now that you can heal faster than you take damage, and stay indefinitely. I usually cast this when I hit 20 hp, and eat ten of them. I stay for hundred point sessions now. All so lovely. Return again as I add another section each time I come back, then go over them to add facts and numbers, then another run for pictures.

A message to price manipulators and all others responsibile for high prices
whine whine whine. You'll have a much easier time buying all those herbs anyways. In the many hours you'd have spent finding sellers, you can make a good deal of cash. And then, after that, you can sell the potions. Right now might not be the best time to sell potions, mind you, but you'll end up mitigating 2/3rds the price at the very least.

Will Zaros Bring the Balance Back?
Time for the Kalafai theory! You see, back in the day, Zaros, the empty lord, with is cool forehead tattoo and emo hair, sided with Saradomin, the not necessarily good god of order. And they got in a war with the desert goods, a little back and forth. Then with a decisive strike, they made it to the heart of the opposition, and had big magical flasy showdown with a vast army of majharrat. And when the majharrat were like "No kill us please" Saradomin was like "nah, you not on my side, I keeeeel you" But Zaros was like "sure, be free, and come under my rule." And then Saradomin went "WTF? We just fought these guys, they aren't on our side! There are only two sides! They not on my side, they on your side, you must not be on my side... I keeeeeel you for being with not on my side siders!" And so now you know.

Which is more rare
Alright, here's my say. The most capes I've ever seen since they came out has been untrimmed hp. Slayer I think is the rarest, but people see a challenge in getting it, so they always wear that and avoid others for it. Summoning will not get a rarest from me, because it is soo much faster than other combat skills. It just hasn't had time. If a player starts their career as members since it came out, with a decently low combat level, it can likely be their first.

FoG Hiders
no coz you will lose half of your games thus slowing down tokens gained I have center-tanked my last 50 games and won ALL of them. Your point? my point is yoiur obviously maxed and fighting lower lvs if your the lower lv you can't play like that I don't think class 4 stats are maxxed. Just follow the link under the name to hgihscores and you'll see a clearly not max player.

Kalafai, the wailful waif, and her ailing tutorual
Why thanks all. Pictures may be out, there's just too many to crop each and every one. Guest appearances are a possiblility, but I don't play Kalafai often. Eventually I'll need special guest stars for the shield of arrav quest.
