  1. Multiple people can use Sunlight/Death's swiftness currently, you need to stand on the corners of a monster to achieve it though. XOOOOOX OOMMMOO OOMMMOO OOMMMOO XOOOOOX Where X's are players, O's are empty squares, and M is the monster. Perfect for 6 man Vorago (Base tank/Bomb tank don't need it, 4 dpsers do), but also works on Kalphite King, though he obviously moves around the room a lot, so it's not as viable. As for Vorago Syndrome: Read a few guides, know the rotations. Join a low gear-requirement mass, there are plenty of them out there. Learn how to do it, get some splits for better gear/weapons/skills. Join smaller teams, even bigger splits, Eventually buy your own seismic wand, don't bother with orb because it's currently a waste of ~600m. ??? Profit. Also, having more people doing Vorago will create a larger supply of Wands ingame, thus reducing the price over time. Saying this for the <insert large number>th time, Vorago is really not that difficult. It's a surprisingly slow-paced boss fight compared to Barrows/Nex/KK, and you can easily master the basics within a few days of trying. It's called a boss for a reason, and much like most other Chris L bosses, has some timings built in allowing you to work out when the best time is to use abilities, and to stop attacking to avoid PKing you team-mates on reflects. But yeah, I'm excited for this new rotation, but also slightly scared, because if it gets into Hardmode, it will be a while before I can get that title, as noone will want to do it. Also, a random suggestion that would actually make ranged worth it: Why can't you move when doing ranged abilities? It makes no sense that you are unable to move while firing a crossbow. (Oh, and make snap shot 2x150% damage please.)
  2. From Chris L's twitter... I'm scared :uhh: also from HLF, if someone could grab a pic: I am actually happy. \:D/
  3. No drygores atm, and friend wanted his seismic set back. D:
  4. Gratz on the Community Round-Up feature! :D
  5. ROW doesn't work on asc stuff iirc. Need to get another Vorago drop, cash reserves running low after buying the 25 bonds for premium members. ;_;

  7. Harbingers of Tuska Battle the airut - vanguard of the feral goddess Tuska - in this level 92 Slayer update! You'll need top-end gear, high combat skills and quick wits if you want to survive against these multi-style monstrosities. Prevail, and you can get your hands on Kaigi's journal - a first-hand account of Tuska's destructive power; the mighty razorback gauntlets - level 90 melee power armour; or pieces of the XP-giving Tuska mask - the terrifying face of things to come. How Boarish Previously just an echo in the memories of a slain god, the airut have arrived. As cunning as they are strong, they're a match for all but the mightiest of Gielinor's heroes - and the only word on their lips is the name of their ancient swine goddess - Tuska. Found in Kuradal's Dungeon and on the small peninsula south-west of Piscatoris, the airut are among the strongest opponents that can be encountered in the open world. You'll need at least level 92 Slayer to even scratch their tough hides. On top of that, you'll need very high combat stats to stand up to them (combat level 150 at least), and the best gear you have. As you fight them, you'll need to keep an eye out for their stance. If an airut is up on its hind legs, it'll pummel you with melee attacks. If it's on all fours, though, it'll spit deadly ranged attacks your way. It'll switch its attack style occasionally, depending on how it's being attacked, so be sure to come equipped to deal with both types of damage. An airut can also wind up for a lethal special attack, and you'll have to be on the ball to counter these. If you can hit the airut with either Flurry or Rapid Fire before the animation's over, you can stop the beast in its tracks and stun it for a short while. Otherwise, get ready to taste some pain! Finest Cuts Kuradal can ask Slayers of level 92 to kill airut as a Slayer assignment. We're also running an Early Bird Bonus, where Slayer XP earned from battling the airut on a Slayer assignment is increased by 25%, and fighting them while not on a Slayer assignment to kill them will also earn you a small amount of Slayer XP. This lasts until the 6th of January 2014. Among the many valuable drops that the airut can yield are pages of Kaigi's journal, which - when assembled - form an eyewitness account of the devastation Tuska caused to the Naragi homeworld. Collect all of these to form a full volume, to be stored in your player-owned house's bookshelf. There are also six pieces of a Tuska mask to be collected. When assembled and worn for the first time, the mask will grant you a hog's helping of XP in a combat skill of your choice. You can then keep it as a cosmetic headpiece, or hand it in to a Slayer master for one Slayer point. Airut bones are a guaranteed drop from each beast, and give better Prayer XP than dagannoth bones when buried. Finally, there's a chance to pick up a pair of razorback gauntlets - level 90 power-type melee gloves that'll make you anything but ham-fisted. The Coming Storm Enjoy getting to grips with these porcine opponents. Fight hard and enjoy your rewards - but consider how you'll fare when Gielinor trembles under the tread of Tuska's mighty hooves. The RuneScape Team How to face the Harbingers of Tuska: Airut can be found in the surface world just south-west of Piscatoris.If you're on Slayer assignment for Kuradal, you can also find them in the south of Kuradal's Dungeon.Requirements: You must be a RuneScape member.You need 92 Slayer to harm the airut, or to receive an airut Slayer assignment from Kuradal.At least level 150 combat is recommended.It is highly recommended that you wear level 90 gear and wield level 90 weaponry when facing these beasts.In Other News We've made a significant change to the way Summoning pouches are made. Now, pouches, shards, charms and tertiary ingredients can be combined anywhere to make uncharged pouches. You can then take these to an obelisk to render them usable, and to earn your Summoning XP. This will ease up much of the inventory wrangling once necessary to train and use this important skill.The Festive Aura is now available in-game for all RuneScape members, granting 50% extra XP for half an hour each day, all through December! If you already have one, its XP-giving powers will be restored. If not, grab your aura from one the many helpful imps around the world.We've increased the XP rates for training at Clan Citadel skill plots.As requested on the Clan Leaders' forums, we've added in a Noticeboard Event Broadcast System. This is accessible via the Clan Noticeboard itself, or a new button on the Clan List interface. Note that this is only available to clan owners, until they assign the permission to other clan ranks.Retro-styled dragon plate armour and infinity robes are now available inSolomon's General Store.Take a look at the patch notes for other updates released today. Well, you're comped so pots/prayer/stats aren't an issue, Just do QBD with tetsu and drygore maces until you can afford snazzier stuff (read: Ascensions), then get into Nex/Vorago. I'm willing to take you along anytime, and if you need tips for any other bosses, just say so. :)
  9. The PvP's going to be stupidly 1-sided though... Judging by this poll, if you're on Bandos' side? You're going to die a few times.
  10. Nah, finished it all earlier, just gonna keep the bow so I don't have to work out how much gp I lost. :lol:
  11. So I'm now ~120 keys without a signet overall, about 80 sextus and 40 quintus... [Harpy]. There goes me making profit. :( edit: 99 keys for sextus... Yeah, there goes profit. Now I just need to get Quintus without punching something over all the stupid deaths that happen. Those purple lines. ;_;
  12. Or between attacks when doing Vorago, it is possible to do it without losing dps if you're not tanking melee hits/blue bombs. :lol:
  13. Someone invited Mod Slayer to their 99 party, this happened. I know who to invite from now. :twss:
  14. Hardmode seis wand, 14 man, set to be around 170m each if I can math?
  15. Still got my 6k scrolls and 500 pouches from however many years ago. :lol:
  16. Added a poll as I'm curious- Which god will you side with for World Event 2?
  17. Uh... You may be a bit wrong there Sy. :P Barb assault gives 320k bonus agil xp/hour with a decent team, and seeing as agil is ~80k/hour at the most, spending an hour to gain 4 hours of bonus XP is worth it, assuming you can get a team together. It's stupidly easy now, so just pick some friends, ask them if they want bonus agil xp, and go! (I'm up for barb assault as long as I'm not currently killing a boss :P)
  18. Behind the Scenes - December 2013 A new Slayer creature, World Event 2 and the Festive Aura… It must be Christmas! Christmas Updates This year we have a sack-load of special treats to fill all of Gielinor with Christmas spirit! Up to Snow Good After his catastrophic loss during the Battle of Lumbridge, Zamorak has been looking for an opportunity to vent his frustrations and get some revenge on the population of Gielinor. What better way than to ruin Christmas? He’s tasked one of his demons, San’tar Klaws - with orders to lock up Santa, burn Christmas trees and generally kick anything festive in its tinsel-wrapped behind. In a brand-new, fun-filled update, stacked with Christmas cheer and cheesy puns, you’ll be asked to pick between the 'Naughty' and 'Nice' lists. Do you want to revel in a Zamorakian Christmas filled with chaos and disorder, or do you hunger for a traditional, happy, pudding- and-present-filled holiday? Meet up with old pals from Christmases gone by, and enjoy a new pet, tinsel scarf, Christmas emote and a very silly Christmas jumper. Festive Aura This year the Festive Aura makes a triumphant return after a year of hiding in the RS office Christmas decoration box. It’s available to all members on the 1st of December, gives you a 50% XP boost for 30 minutes each and every day during December, and has a shiny set of snowflake wings too. If you've already got one, it'll kick in again from the 1st of the month. If not, pick one up from the helpful snow imps hanging around the game. 12 15 Days of Xmas Why have only 12 days of Christmas when you can have 15 instead? In Gielinor, the Guthixian calendar - in all its glorious wisdom - has decreed that 15 days is far more suitable. From the 20th December to the 3rd of January, we are introducing a new Festive Cracker to the game, obtainable via unique challenges, special competitions, events and just generally playing the game. Each cracker will contain rewards, but only a few will contain a brand new tradeable rare…the black Santa hat! Anyone wearing Christmas outfits will get an increased drop chance, so we’re looking forward to seeing everyone in all their glorious Yuletide bling! Talk to the helpful snow imps (found near several lodestones) during the 15 days of Christmas for more info. The Bird and the Beast - the Second World Event The Bird and the Beast is the next player-driven turning point of the new god struggles of the Sixth Age. It’s an amazing new update, featuring optional, open-world PvP and huge amounts of player interaction, running over a six-week period. Two gods strive to hold key points over Misthalin and Asgarnia long enough to exploit the new divination skill to their own ends, against a backdrop of frequent Godless interference and the occasional mighty golem war machine. Armadyl - self-styled god of Justice and advocate of friendly human-god relations - and Bandos - the Big High War God who favours personal strength and individual achievement as a path to power and glory - seek adventurers to help with the construction of mighty weapons of war. Doing so requires vast quantities of divine energy, but since the super-concentrated divine tears dried up with the fading of the Lumbridge crater, the only way to find it is by the efforts of skilled diviners. Convoys roll across the land, filled with caravans and diviners protected by bodyguards and supported by hasty constructions in tactically significant spots. The faithful rush to fill their own caravans with energy via divination, to hamper and destroy those of the enemy in combat, or to claim land for their side by building aid structures - and at any time, vicious skirmishes may break out across the land. Those who join either Armadyl or Bandos will earn not only god-themed set armour with the potential to speed up ability cooldowns, but also entirely new combat abilities for PvP and PvE. Experience in Construction, Divination and Combat is available for all players, while those who choose to opt in to PvP will be able to gain Prayer XP as well. Pick your side carefully, in the knowledge that the outcome of this fight will most certainly prove fatal to one of the leading gods of the Sixth Age pantheon. Harbingers of Tuska This month, new high-level Slayer creatures enter the game, and with them arrive the first forays of Tuska: the boar-beast god who destroyed Guthix’s homeland. The creatures themselves- known as the airut - have a massive level 92 slayer requirement, meaning only the toughest heroes will get to fight them. You’ll need your very best gear to stand a chance against these formidable foes, who are capable of switching combat styles at will and fully utilise all the elements of the new combat system. You’ll certainly be able to wade in using the Momentum ability, but masters of the adrenaline bar will find far greater success. Rewards available include the razorback gauntlets – the first ever level 90 gloves - new bones, and pieces of a Tuska mask that can be traded and completed for Combat XP. The update even comes with an Early Bird Bonus, so those who take up arms against the harbingers will receive extra XP returns for the first few weeks of launch. Special drops and primitive cave drawings have also been added for the lore hounds, giving information on Tuska, Guthix’s homeworld and also warning the world of the impending doom that they represent. Once released, you’ll find them near the Phoenix Lair, south-west of Piscatoris, and in Kuradal's Dungeon. Solomon’s General Store It’s also a busy month for Solomon, with legendary reindeer pets, living presents, player designed Christmas outfits, Bandos and Armadyl-themed costumes, and even some retro armour. Premier Club Finally, we’ve been looking at the exciting second year of the premier package- a special deal where you can secure 3, 6 or 12 months of membership for hugely discounted prices and earn yourself a bunch of new rewards! Highlights include flying piggy pets, bonus daily spins, Loyalty Points, access to VIP worlds, free game-card promotional items and a VIP badge, displayed in all of your in-game chat and forum posts! Plus, for the first time, you can use Bonds to pay for the packages, so if want to treat yourself to an early present using your in-game items, you can! It won’t be available for long, so if you want to join the most exclusive club of 2014, make sure you join up quick! Have fun and merry Christmas to all of you. Whatever you’re doing this holiday, make it RuneScapey! Mod Mark Design Director - RuneScape Discuss this on the forums. Behind the Scenes Video Mod Mark takes you through these Yuletide updates in person: What is a 'Behind the Scenes' article? Behind the Scenes is a sneak peek at the planned game updates that we hope to launch in the coming month. This, however, is only a plan - not a promise - that a particular update will be released in a particular way or at a particular time. To get you the highest quality updates as quickly as possible, we usually keep on tweaking and testing right up until the moment before release, so sometimes things change or take a bit longer than expected. We aren't afraid to change our plan if necessary, as we will never launch an update before it is ready. (Sorry if there's any formatting errors, I'll fix them later)
  19. 40/80/1/89 for the 4 signets so far, and keep lagging out on Quintus, so won't be finishing this for a while. :rolleyes: And yeah, that walk in signet. :twss:
  20. First Tertius kill, signet + tertius keystone... I'm not complaining... An hour, 85 keys and no Quartus signet later: Yeah I'm complaining now.
  21. So rude, I feel insulted. On the plus side, trioed a Drygore Longsword a few days back (26.3m split iirc) 3/6 ascension signets, 40 keys/80 keys/1 key for them so far, so doing pretty well... (lol)
  22. Ambler replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
    Wasn't there a quote in someone's signature something like "[bleep] you [bleep] you [bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep] you"? That applies now, very nice. :p
