Obt then slayed the shadow-forger, causing him to fall down into the DGS clan citadel and die of boredom, because he was trapped and had no agil effigies to open.

Zerker is a bad example, it's +8 strength (after imbuing) makes it not only better than anything in its class but also better than the best of other classes. Well. The comp cape is also the best in it's class and gives very amazing stats too. +10 all accuracy, +12 all def, +4.5 str, +13 prayer. That's better than +8 strength in almost any situation. (Of course it's not one or the other here, you obviously use both. But they are fairly similar in terms of cost and stats given.) That's debatable. I'd say its probably because at release skill capes (t) were the second best cape, and reallly? its 99k, you can make that in an hour on a brand new account...

I'm currently 98 slayer, 1.5m to 99 and 97 summoning. I have enough charms banked to get 99 summoning currently, IF I used all my green charms and a few gold (~8000 total charms used). IF I waited until after 99 slayer to use my charms I'd have to use approximately 3900 charms, and gain the benefit of not loosing xp over 99 from the summoning stages of all those effigies (~225k xp). So my question is this: will getting 99 summoning now and using a steel titan for 1.5m slayer xp save me more time then waiting for 99 slayer to get 99 summoning? Assume iron titan will be used in place of steel all places usable, and standard block list.

Well its been just over 1 year since I posted this blog, when I started this my stats were basically this is my end of year update. My goals when I started this blog were 99 strength, 92 herblore, 96 summ, 95 prayer, 82 dg and effigy opening skills. My current stats are: This means that with the exception of 2 woodcut, 12 mine and 18 con levels I achieved all my goals for 2011. Additionally, at the beginning of 2011 my bank was basically zero. now, its over 60m with full void, a fire cape, and two chaotics Most of this money was made from DKs, with some being made from herb farming and staking. I currently have just under 60m xp on my xp tracker, which I reset on January 1st of last year. TL;DR: +124 total levels +5 strength levels (94-99, +14m xp) +17 prayer levels (78-95) +32 DG levels (58-90) +5 Agil levels (82-87) +11 herb levels (81-92) +4 slayer levels (93-97) +9 farm levels (83-92) +4 summ levels (93-97) +6m hp xp (20m-26m) +350m total value (current bank, 95 prayer, 92 herb, 97 summ) goals for next year: 99 summ 99 slayer 92 con 92 woodcut 92 mine 200m+ bank

DKs don't even say that they drop rings/d hatchets, and black demons dont even have a page. Oh dear.

The lowest combat familiar worth using are the elemental titans at 79, so yes they are.

effigy drop rates are linked to combat level, so this is extremely unlikely.

sense you implied you thought the stick was 2.5m.. afaik (2 days old) its currently going for 400-500k GE, staff is ~1m.

According to RSWiki (the good one) the wings only restore 3% of your max prayer points every 500 prayer xp you gain. So for example, I would get 25 prayer points (at level 85 prayer) every 7 dragon kills. That's like 3.5 points per dragon. And that's assuming you'd rather bonecrush dragon bones instead of collect them. Don't remind me that most monsters drop lower level bones... Doesn't seem very good, or at least at tier 1. The loyalty store makes it sound like you get 3% every time you gain xp, which is significantly better. Can anyone confirm either way? Can you combine it with the bonus exp from an urn? Not being particularly involved with the metagame, I'd assume it's still better than no aura. the question isn't whether its better then no aura, its whether its better then (greater) reverence. Figure by the time I start playing daily again I'll have enough to get something thats useful for slayer/MHing now, and then get JOT once I start playing regularly, so I might as well get something that helps with slayer now.

anyone else thinking salvation/corruption+bone crusher is amazing for slayer (the prayer restore from gaining prayer xp) or am I misreading?
