Loyalty program / auras
This ...except penance and vampyrism are both worse then equilibrium for combat.... JoaT should be first, the 8k+ xp/day is crazy useful. If you farm herbs Id go for atleast T2-3 Greenfingers, if you want to train fishing call of the seas is a huge boost while fishing rocktail, making it some of the fastest xp in game. For combat Equilibrium is about a 4% boost in DPS iirc. this video and spreadsheet by Grimy has most of the information on good auras: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANm34e6I--Y& https://docs.google....djdk04R0E#gid=6 His own sheets say that on average it's about a 2% boost to dps across slayer. Considering Penance also works off overload damage and vampyrism makes more situations where damage is unavoidable more afk I would consider all three to be worth it for different situations. where is prayer or health such an issue? GWD you barely take any damage and have an alter for prayer, nex sharpshooter is best, everywhere else you can bank so fast the cut to DPS isn't worth it.

when does a skill stop being "low?"
I'd say whenever the last useful benefit/training method/whatever of the skill is obtained (so like 96 for herb, 95 for prayer, 99 for combats, etc.)

Dragon hatche
yews and sharks are both terrible money and xp. It's better to find something (like ivy or rocktail) that's better xp and no money or something like ganos which are afk money and low xp.

Ganodermic beasts setup
wolper>>>>>BoB for sure. My strategy is to get ~30 prayer bonus (so you only need prayer renewals), and then maximize mage bonus. Ah skirt: 22 mage 0 prayer, Akr skirt: 16 mage, 5 prayer (.833 prayer:mage) Ah Top: 30 mage 0 prayer, Akr top: 20 mage, 8 prayer (.8 prayer:mage) Farseer helm: 6 mage 0 prayer, Akr hood: 5 mage, 4 prayer (4 prayer:mage) Arcane spirit shield: 20 mage 3 prayer, ill. unholy book: 8 mage 8 prayer (.416 prayer:mage) Ardy 3: 6 mage 6 prayer Soul wars cape: 12 prayer (1 prayer:mage) so based on that akr hood>soul wars cape>akr skirt>akr top>ill. unholy book for increasing prayer until 30, then max mage bonus. Boots/gloves/ring aren't worth it for increasing prayer bonus.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
Can you explain what this would accomplish? As it stands, you're effectivily punishing someone for changing gear to meet/evade your opponents weaknesses/strengths, and I thought that is something they want to encourage. I honestly don't see what's bad about changing your gear. That's the point. I'm not claiming Runescape is like real life, however in real life it takes time to remove and put on armor. If you're an archer and the knight closes in with you, you might have time to switch weapons, but you're not putting on full plate. Instead of 5 to 10 minutes it'd take in real life, a simple 9 second cooldown will discourage such activity in fast paced gameplay. As far as gameplay is concerned, I think this further helps the combat triangle by discouraging on the fly hybriding. It even makes combat a bit simpler as you and your opponent won't change up the situation by switching armor. Anyway, I doubt Jagex will ever do this, but I do think it'd be a beneficial change overall. Nor do dragons and magic exist in real life. Void argument. But, why should changing armour be discouraged? Only argument I can imagine is that it's beneficial if you are really bad at pking. Don't nerf it for those that are good, but deal with it or get better yourself. No, it's not a void argument as I acknowledged there's not a 1 to 1 correlation of the real world to runescape. Regardless of that, there's merit in a game that likes to base many aspects of itself off fantasy and real life to call upon those aspects not being met in the game. In the end, it's about gameplay. If you think that rapidly able to switch armor and combat stances enhances gameplay, then that's fair. It's also fair to think that offering cooldown times to switching up weapons and armor enhances gameplay. No matter which path is taken, there will be people that excel at it. Also, an ad hominem makes for a poor example to defend your point. If it helps, prayer and magic kind of have this set-up already. You must decide prior to any combat what magic and prayer book you're going to use. You don't get the option to switch in the middle of combat for the most part. Has this hindered or enhanced gameplay? To me, I think it improves it as even if you're a magician, you have to weigh the pros and cons for the book you choose. Now, offering cooldown to armor and weapon switching is not as extreme as requiring you to go to an NPC. It'd still be enough to impact gameplay, and in a positive manner for the most part. YMMV you're already punished for bringing more switches with less inventory spaces, why should you need to be punished again? Adding a cooldown would punish people who are willing to actually play the game, rather then just read the best setup then sit back and watch. More APM is something that RS desperately needs in endgame combat, not something that should be nerfed.

Elysian
because you "not noticing" is significant  DKs is the only place I can think of where its the 'best' (although elysian vs. arcane might be debatable) everywhere else it's basically just a worse divine or is beaten by defender/deflector.

Question on crafting and sc needles?
if you enjoy SC significantly more then crafting, or have an unreasonably low income, yes. Otherwise, no.

Power Tree chopping
the time refers to the type of evil tree, not the type of tree you use the banking magic on.

How does this help me with farming?
yeah. There's nothing to suggest HH patches have different yields, correct?

Torstol Farming
I compare it with what I buy the next seeds for (a rough underestimate of the instant buy price until I would do the next herb run, at which point I go for the instant buy price if they haven't bought yet). It would be cool to compare with actual med prices, runewiki has a log of medium prices right?

How does this help me with farming?
That is the number OP would've found had he done the googling, and pops up consistently when doing so. If you know of a data set that will help give better numbers, feel free to help out? I google'd it a bit, according to runewiki the 10% comes from a jmod post from 2006. Given jagex's track record with percent bonuses (void range, slayer helm), it's probably pretty safe to assume it's not accurate. I'm interested enough to take a potential hit to my herb run profits...I'll drop the secateurs for a few 100 seeds.

more expensive 99
dragon bones are currently the most efficient at 5m/hr (and they'll only get more efficient at lower incomes) of the reasonably fast prayer methods (ourgs/frosts/dags/dragon bones/infernal ashes) at 11.34 gp/xp. herblore is harder to calculate (different extremes and extremes are all you should really make after 84) but they range from (ignoring super antifires), 10.06 gp/xp (ext. attacks) to 38 gp/xp (ext. ranges) with overloads (should be a large % of your xp) being 22.41 gp/xp including the extremes needed. sources: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdE9tVXlKb1VqdTdPS0FDMFZpU1pST0E#gid=0 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdFUxbS11U2FKWDRacnBvYXphRlF1c3c#gid=2

even with banking magic, arctic pines/teaks/ivy/saw mill are better then either willows or ivy.

Torstol Farming
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ajm8G9YsUDFmdEd0bGdSdHlsSjVXa09qeXFUT3NxUGc#gid=0 doesn't compare snaps/torstols, and not the most data points, but factors in actual selling price (vs. GE med) for torstols and gives a fairly good current idea of profits/long term average.

How does this help me with farming?
can we not throw around 10% without data? I don't think I've seen anything to suggest it's a 10% average increase (and I doubt it is, considering it raises the minimum by more then 10%...)

what to do when hacked
yea.... uhmm... no. so you want advice on how to get jagex to give you your stuff back, but won't take basic security measures to secure your account? Why should they bother (not that they do anyway  ) if you won't? You'll just get hacked again.

AFK revision activites
ganos are pretty good afk-ish money if you feel like doing some slayer first. Then there's the obvious fm/cooking/fletching.
