Vestra Imperiosus Civitas
Don't count on it though. :twss: Why not hop on the Dungeoneering bandwagon?

Vestra Imperiosus Civitas
1. Gathers together a group of men and sends them off to the nearby fertile grassland north-east of my location with a surveyor or some other kind of person, to survey the land. They should forage for fibrous material on the way and bring it back. 2. The dried fibrous materials are given to the pond guy who needed fibrous materials so that he can make his fishing net thing. 3. The resource gathering part of the village is broken into three portions based on specialty. One is sent to gather lumber, one is sent to gather more fibrous materials and hunt (to gain animal carcasses), and the last group is sent fishing with the new contraptions that the pond guy makes. 4. An idea is pitched to the smart people in the camp: (description of wheel). They are asked to work on that, and how to use it functionally (some sort of cart or something), using lumber that we have gathered. 5. Another idea is pitched to the smart people in the camp: (description of bows and arrows). They are asked to work on that with the fibrous material and lumber.

Vestra Imperiosus Civitas
Bank stuff 1. People are sent to acquire various resources of the area, specifically lots of wood (from branches) and more of the fibrous material. 2. The plant's seeds are removed by whacking the plant and planted, while the stalks are left out in the sun to dry, before they are tested against to see if they are anymore fibrous. 3. Another group of people are sent to the other fertile grasslands in the same forest (northeasterly of my current area) to examine the area, bringing back resources and seeing how much it would cost to build another city there. 4. People begin researching the bow with the stuff provided (dried fibrous material + wood)

3. Foragers are instructed to go out into the forest to look for food (berries and such) as well as a fibrous plant. If the plant is found, it is given to the contemplative pond guy for his fishing purposes. (Stealing one action from the bank) 4. Granar(y/ies) are built to store the excess food that will be made from the fertile grassland.

Vestra Imperiosus Civitas
If you're like me, you'd play the game of chess mentally and forget the position after up to twenty moves (if it's a common sicilian position).

Vestra Imperiosus Civitas
We can set up a food for resources trade if you'd like.
-
Vestra Imperiosus Civitas
Well you don't NEED to be, but heartlands don't produce any food. :)

Vestra Imperiosus Civitas

1. Allow them to bring their skills and technologies and assimilate the people to the proper culture 2. Tell him that he must work for twice as long for a day or be executed 3. Kidnap him and demand ransom 4. Take a sample of the gem to test. If it is valuable or useful, declare it as the emporer's gems and invade. 5. I am the emporer. No advisor is powerful enough to challenge me 6. Tame them 7. Economic might. When wealth flows bountifully from your coffers, no army can stand in your way and technologies can be purchased. 8. Assimilate them! 9. Assimilate them! Scatter their citizens among many of our cities, so that they lose spirit in their ways and assimilate. 10. Invade them! 11. Smash the unfriendly power. 12. Communicating with the gods. Only works for me though. 13. We don't have sky gods. Set him free and make him research for us! 14. Steal it and present it as a gift to the emporer 15. E

A Time For Glory
It's okay. :) I think that you've started the most balanced Hegemony in a while (not screwing some people over), without it being completely balanced (everything is boring). It's true that moderating is tough, but the important thing is that you made a good effort.
-
A Time For Glory
Okay, awesome. Would it be possible for you to start doing the PMs or at least like the first little blurb, because I need to confirm the stuff that I sent you before I can start writing my defensive plans.
-
A Time For Glory
I think that the moderator should give out some external contact information (aka email), so that we can follow them when they're not on the Tavern. :P
-
A Time For Glory
A common symptom to most moderators, but Archi seems to be mostly immune to it. :)

A Time For Glory
Does anyone know what happened to Spork?
-
A Time For Glory
Scandanavia funnels huge amounts of money into electrical beam research, infuriating the military. The government is replaced in a coup.
-
The Back Room
Is it in any existing genre of game or is it completely new?
-
A Time For Glory
Don't worry Rocco, things will inevitably pick-up when Spork comes back on and starts approving research projects, leading to natural conflict. It's just that there's nothing to argue about yet.

Dungeoneering Again
Probaly not. Ross has family over, but there's always the chance of a miracle. :P

Dungeoneering Again
Cinematic dream (stylistically kinda looks like brawl) *Sounds in the Darkness* "I know who you are, vampire. Don't play coy with me!" *Smirk* "Your immortality does not faze me, Alucard. I am not like enemies that you have faced before...I can kill you." *Wriggling* "But I know that you are a magical being like myself. If you lay down your weapons, then I will spare you...for now. But I will be watching you, very carefully." Alucard (aka guy in Ross' picture thingy) is flung to the ground and smashes a crater into the roof of a magical academy. A stocky man that looks like a pile of compost and leaves with arms scrambles onto the roof, shouts a high pitched squeel, and begins to run around Alucard. Newcomer: Earth Moments later, another stocky man with a flaming, ornately decorated spear and various flaming pieces of clothing walks slowly onto the roof and accidentally lights Earth on fire. He prepares to fight with Alucard, but Alucard doesn't seem eager or willing to get up. Newcomer: Colin The remaining characters of the game (people who have already been introduced) filter into the area to observe the strange creature that fell from the sky. Soon, a loud noise splits the sky, and our heroes look up. They see three humanoid-transformer looking thingies with wings, but more magical. (That's kinda what happens when you're trying to describe something in a dream). After a brief pause, they begin showering magical spells upon the roof. Mather and Colin nod to each other and propel themselves at the flying beasts, hammer and spear in hand. Mather is too heroic and charges straight towards them, getting hit in various places and falling to the ground. Colin manages to slice one of their wings, before falling back to the ground, like a dorf. Archi and Maple are forming glass out of thin air to block the flying projectiles, but begin to get injured by the shards of glass. Jen consults her vast library of texts, but finds nothing related to the being, while the rest of the crew runs around. Only Niveus seems to be calm, and sits meditating, attempting to commune with the creatures. He discovers one is disillusioned with the evil goal of their monstrous group and manages to convince it of its wrongs. The creature changes sides and tackles one of the other creatures to the ground, where they begin to fight. The heroes seem close to defeat, but Alucard finally emerges and joins the side of our heroes. After a fierce battle, the final creature is defeated and explodes in many colors of light. Peace has finally be restored. --- Now if you'll just imagine that in the context of a dream, then I think you'll find it's one of the best dreams one could ever have. :P

I thought you had Reach already. :)
