Sorry for totally ignoring the thing you sent me Arch. Just totally forgot. If you still want me to do that, I can.

Dungeoneering Again
Oh, I was wondering but do some magics have natural advantages against others? For example, if a ball of fire is flying at an equally powerful ball of water with no outside intereference, would the ball of water easily win, or does it not work like that? Or fire defeating ice and stuff.

I think it's that everyone is still trying to figure out if these two Hegemonies are actually going to pan out, and if the mods are going to stay committed to them.

Well the way with the Japanese, everything is beautiful AND efficient. So you could look at it and still kill with it. :P

Indeed, separate currencies and separate inflation rates would be a hedge against crazy conquerers. Peaceful countries that don't have many enemies would have a greater GDP growth and wouldn't suffer the penalties of printing money, general instability, and such. On the other hand, warring countries could get concessions from the enemy and try to counteract inflation and lack of GDP growth by adding chunks of GDP to their budgets. There could be some strategy with creating joint currencies with other countries, increasing stability but forcing you to consult with the other country to avoid destabilising the joint currency (one country declares war or a country starts printing money).

If we're having solar system locked Hegemony, better start pretty early. Maybe 2000 or something, rather than space ships right away. Then we just use real-life GDP, and have the GDP equally distributed between provinces, to an extent. (For example, Russia would have two GDP figures, one for Western and one for Eastern. That way Western Russian provinces are worth a certain amount and Eastern ones are worth probaly less (Siberia essentially)). Most countries would basically have a max of two or three regions.

Dungeoneering Again
Are we starting up some Dungeoneering? I'll have to leave early (around 12 PM GMT) for an orchestra concert. Despite my adversion to dressing up, it'll be fun. :)

Sorry for the double post. So the session is on Wednesday? Earth told me that Ross said that during the Space session. Can I get a confirmation on that?

Dungeoneering Again
I want to become good enough at magic and adventuring that I can write guides and memoirs that people will actually buy and read. Ice magic for newbs: Book One "Congratulations for getting this book. This is your first step to be a half-decent mage. Want to wow your friends in a snow ball fight by firing ice shards? This is your place!" ---- Okay Hakon, summary. Colin was in some dorfy sewer thingy and caused an earthquake. Everyone hears a loud bang, but since you're in Arborsing, that's basically it I think. Jen made an igloo and bought some books Earth was doing something with vines and orks Niveus was fighting a worm, the size of a bus, and fell into the abyss or something Mask was doing something with his ice magic tutor Cargoro was fighting...another Baerl and owned it Keep in mind that neither your character nor mine actually know about this, but if you were curious as a person, there ya go. --- I would like to settle there one day, if somehow I found out about it randomly without metagaming (probaly word will spread if it becomes decent or something). The wizened scholar that spends her time writing books all the time.
