True Ownage v Envy ___________________ After a bad war against Silent Ember, everyone in T0 asked the leaders to get a short prep. One was set up with Envy, with the following rules: 30 minute CWRI, Turrets, Melee and Binds allowed, Offensive Magic and Ranged not allowed, No corrupt, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Monday 31st May, Time negotiated: 4:30PM EST. ___________________ We pulled really well to the war earlier, but people had to go sleep so we pulled less, but still a respectable 22. Envy pulled less and gave us an advantage at the start. True Ownage Starting: 21 Envy Starting: 17 Starting: ___________________ By the time we came face to face with Envy they had 18 people. We got some early momentum, racing into a lead by a couple of kills. Our anti-snipe unit was boss, allowing to get free kills by transitioning onto snipers, whereas Envy's pile would occasionally get dragged. However as the time got later, we lost numbers whilst Envy gained, allowing them to catch up to our score. We had about equal time of opts advantage, but we came out on top by a kill, with both the piles about to die. Tense last few minutes, ty for the fight Envy. I think originally they tried piling Dazuz, but piled other people too who just tanked em off.

True Ownage v Unknown Killers ___________________ UK approached us via our site to set up a couple days prep war. The following rules were agreed on: Cap of 28 people, CWA Classic | Center Boundaries, Melee and Binds allowed, Offensive Magic and Ranged not allowed, No corrupt, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Saturday 29th May, Time negotiated: 3:00PM EST. ___________________ Despite a below-average sign up, we managed to muster 23 of our troops up to fight in the wonderful game of RuneScape. We were hoping that we'd get outpulled by a big margin to give us more of a challenge, but UK also pulled 23. One of our members had to leave before the war started. True Ownage Starting: 22 Unknown Killers Starting: 23 True Ownage Starting: Unknown Killers Starting: ___________________ We went into the war highly outleveling UK, but having that 1 man disadvantage made sure that we took this seriously. Both first piles dropped at roughly the same time, and UK then rushed our fall in leader Warria06, whilst we piled theirs. Warria managed to outtank Bleach and we got level in score. Apparant good calling from myself and Bobby combinded by good tanking, super sniping, and a strong anti snipe unit allowed us to really rip into UK, dominating the war from start to finish. We had more casualties than the perfomance warranted, but all credits to UK giving it their best despite having huge level disadvantage. We ended with 17 warriors on the battlefield. Doesn't really explain it in the context we're talking about, and I wouldn't really know but I think a clan is more of a commuity than a guild which seems to me from this definition is just a lot of people joined together for a certain interest. Some could argue that's what a RuneScape clan is about, to a certain extent I'd agree, however there's dozens more reasons why people join clans, such as friend making, socialising, etc, whereas I think it's for one sole reasons people would join a Guild, which is kinda more niche in it's aims, or to some extent a Vendetta. Not sure though lol.

Well, I think just the active community will entice the person into coming out of retirement. We've had our ex-High Council member come out of retirement because of this, and I know of another ex-High Council that's also agreed to rejoin when school ends. :thumbsup:

They do seem to be having an impact, as much as I agree that it's a skill thats open to everybody and such, the only reason clans are putting them off is because they may know that their members don't have a lot of the weapons, so why put themselves at a disadvantage? Hoping to get a longsword in the next couple of weeks.

Absolutely dominated the matched wars, we were absolutely fantastic, perfect binds, great tanking. And the 3rd round was the most fun I've had for a while tbh, was nice to do something different. Was surprisingly hard to tank with no overhead Prayer lol! Thanks for the fights LDK.
