True Ownage v Team Impulse ___________________ A couple of days ago we set up a CWRI with Impulse, with us agreeing on the following rules: 1 Hour CWRI, Turrets, Melee, Ranged and Binds allowed, Offensive Magic not allowed, Corrupt On, Dungeoneering On, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Friday 9th July, Time negotiated: 4:30PM EST. ___________________ We had a pretty bad pull, and Impulse started with 3 more: True Ownage Starting: 21 Team Impulse Starting: 24 Starting: ___________________ We were confident going into this war after a great performance against Tempted Killers but massed less people than expected. We were outleveled also but we had massive belief, and strolled casually into a small lead. Impulse numbers stayed at 24~ whereas ours went down to 18~ a short time into the war, and they took the lead with good tanking after sloppy binds by us. However, we pulled it back with great tanking, very much improved binds combined with good pile choices. When we drew level, the atmosphere in the cc was electric and we stormed into a 9 man lead and got Impulse down to an 18 man pile. However they came back strong, closing the gap to 4 kills, but we saw it out in the end and regained our composure, finishing the war really strong and earning a well deserved win. There were a couple of flames, but nothing major, respect and good fight.
