HI approached us for a war earlier in the week, and we agreed on the following rules:

 

• 1 Hour CWRI,
  
• Turrets,
  
• Melee, Ranged and Binds allowed,
  
• Offensive Magic not allowed,
  
• No corrupt,
  
• Rings allowed,
  
• Date negotiated: Thursday 1st July,
  
• Time negotiated: 2:30PM EST.

We didn't pull too convincingly, and HI outpulled us by 8 at the start, so we knew we had a tough war on our hands.

From the off we were superb. We went up like 17 kills to 2 after 5/10 minutes due to great balance of styles and tanking from our side. We piled on the pressure and took a lead of 30 kills, and gave some practice to people who don't call as frequent. HI improved their game during the mid part of the war, but we were still gaining 2 kills to every 1 of theirs despite them having numbers on us. A few individuals didn't perform to standards for us today, but the majority were pretty good I thought. Well done guys, good momentum into the weekend after this and the win against THE.

Not a bad war.. could have ended with even more kills if people took this war more seriously, but I guess we're happy with the win, and so am I.

We didn't know what to expect seeing the fact we've never fought HI before, gotta give everyone a chance anyway. :)
