Mighty Ownage (T0+2M) ~Vs~ Reinvented Interqueo (RT+IQ) ___________________ TICT Tournament Category: 20+20v20+20 Matched ___________________ Once drew with 2M, T0 was over the moon to have be drawn with an established, technically gifted clan. We were put up against Reinvented Truth and Interqueo, who like us had one PVP based clan and one CWA based clan. After some negotiation and a little trouble with times, we finally agreed on the following rules: TICT Category (40v40) rules, CWA Classic | Center Bounds, Melee and Binds allowed, 5 Man Sniper cap, Offensive Magic not allowed, No corrupt, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Wednesday 17h February, Time negotiated: 2:30PM EST. ___________________ The time we got wasn't great for T0, but we knew it wasn't great for IQ either, so we prepped hard to give us the 20 we needed. Together we pulled a solid 56, and RI pulled 50, so we dropped to our 40 as at that time we had 20 each. However when we went into the center, we had a DC, and therefore it was 39v40. When clicking the RI pile, there were over 20 RT, and around 10-15 IQ, when they had 16 massed. So we asked RT to drop to their 20 rather than their 25, but they retaliated by piling someone. So therefore we left the portal and contacted the Moderators in IRC. The moderators saw the evidence and asked for a rematch. In the rematch, we started with the following: Mighty Ownage Starting: 38 (20+18) RI Starting: 37 (22+15) Starting: ___________________ We started off fast, getting into a couple of kills lead, but bad connections led to easy k0's for RI who caught up pretty fast. At the 30-30 stage we were being outtanked but both members of T0 and 2M began to step it up, with 2M improving their binding and T0 tanking well. We opened up a 4 man lead at 22-18 due to great tanking by Aevalyx, Minnie 129, Renbaki and myself, and with strong calling from 2M's fall in leaders. We never let the lead slip although it got close at one stage as RI mass-sniped and didn't have a pile from 15-10 down to 11-8, but a really strong ending tank from Woody5675 put the score at 10-5, and from then we didn't lose another member, although HaageneeS came close to dieing. Mighty Ownage Ending: 10 RI Ending: 0 ___________________ Other Pictures: ___________________ It was far from clean, but it was nice to have vengeance on RT after they beat us in the 20v20, and was a pleasure warring with some of The Netherlands' finest. From what I heard from SE friends and a few TK members, it was SE+TK even though it was 'non-mandatory' for SE. Probably still had a good 30 opts of SE at least, and also TK Warlords please don't pm me on MSN for help next time as True Ownage are not interested in helping a clan that baits us regularly. I doubt he meant it, we had the same amount of DC's anyway. If you have proof of this 'ddos' then I'd be more than happy to rematch. I guess you're right, the ending is pretty convincing and seeing all the pictures it looks like you would've won either way, but technically the rules were broken, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.
