I'd say just try to put the max 7.5M in, that's what I do. This ensures that you get 90 days of max profit(you need 750K to get max profit, any less makes you less profit).

Gorak's are fairly close to a bank, can be tanked quite easily, and drop loads of Gems and Half Keys. I usually get 2 half keys and 2-3 full inventories of gems per 50 of them. They don't drop noted gems and half keys btw

I still got experience when the horn was in my bank, so I do not think that it matters. Just remember to turn the wheel for experience.

Yeah, make sure you are using the right attack style. I believe spears only have a controlled and defensive settings.

@Op Just cause it is outdated for P2P, doesn't mean F2P needs it. Like many above have pointed out, F2p rangers and magers are already in the trenches with Rune armor as it is. Also, Oricalcos is from Yu-Gi-Oh....copyright infringement.

Just a tip, if I may add something: As you can see in the picture, I've added the location of a Bank Deposit box. It is situated near the Monks of Entrana. The fastest method I have found for F2P fishing is to wield you explorer's ring 3 and take some money in your inventory (30 times the amount of trips you want to make). When you catch a full inventory, Cabbage-port to the field and deposit your fish in the box, then make the 3-second run to Karamja. This proves far more efficient than constant running to Draynor, although if you accidentally deposit your lobster cage and/or your cash, it may be frustrating. Also note that this deposit box is faster for chopping willow trees than Draynor and for mining clay. It's really a great F2p secret that not too many people know about.

To add on to what Sinkhan said: Essence mining guides have been done to death, and honestly, everybody pretty much knows how to get maximum profit. Any guide related to money-making will get loads of views.

I'm confused as to what you are trying to make a difference about. Do you want things to go back to 2004? If you are a seasoned veteran as you say you are, you should know that nothing in RuneScape majorly changes just because a lot of people want it to. I also remember the times of running from Varrock mines, to Lumbridge furnace, and back on up to Varrock anvils; those were great times. But these times are even better, in my opinion. And if you want to be as self-sufficient as the old skool days, you can go get 99 smithing with your self-mined ores to make your first set of full rune.

This. If you aren't paying for anything then don't complain and accept what you get. Well, it is obviously pointless to give F2P something they can't use. You wouldn't give a vegetarian free ham and think 'it's ok, it's free.' Like sonic already pointed out, 1500 Total F2P worlds would only pertain to about 50 or so nonmembers, assuming that it comes out after the new skill. Besides, they are supporting the fact that it is the number 1 free game.

Guides are supposed to be posted in the Archives of Wisdom section of the Forums. And I'm guessing this is your first guide,so you may want to check out some other guides and improve yours to be as top quality as theirs.

Do not skip these. Very good gem drops and key halves. In one task of 48 I got a full crystal key, one extra teeth half, 2 diamonds, ~8 rubies, 5-6 emeralds, and ~14 sapphires. You can also take the Gorak's claw for cheap Herblore exp.

Greens are definitely faster at you level. Take a tortoise; it pretty much 1.5 times better than a T-bird. You might need 2-4 pieces of food, but this is mainly to counteract slight damage from dragon (you might take from 30-50 damage a trip) and from Revenants. Carry your basic Range gear. Don't be afraid to take expensive armor, your grave won't be hard to get to. You may try several spots, although the two I like are East of Clan Wars, because it is fast to bank, or Southeast of the KBD lair in lvl 38 wilderness.(A bit NorthWest of moss giants/skeletons). The latter is always empty, but slightly farther away from a bank. You may need a glory to teleport if using this spot. You can probably get away with iron or bronze bolts, but use broads if you want to speed things up. Don't use anything higher than broads/mithril.

I'd range them if I were you, your range is a bit lower than your other Combat stats. Just take the regular range gear; with a focus if you have it, or void. There are a few safespots.

You wont need to wear anything special with a unicorn on any of these. Just use void and you'll be fine. Perhaps you will need to use dfs at hell hounds, but I'm not sure, with a unicorn you can probably manage :S why would you use void with a full slayer helm Unless you have a complete slayer helm (focus and hex attatched) you won't get any range bonus and it's a waste to wear if you intend to range. You'd hit more often, then, with full void and foregoing the mask. He said he has a full slayer helm.

70 ranged 70 defence/atk would help for guthan's 40 prayer 60 Hp These would be the bare minimum really. You don't need guthan's, many have done without it. You could go with less than 60 hp, but 60 is good incase one of the 360's hits you. And again, that is the minimum prayer level. You would probably want more, however.
