Versus Dragonwood approached us a fight last weekend and we gladly accepted it, knowing they will give us an enjoyable, clean and tough fight. Rules: - 1st round binds/melee/range - 2nd round all styles - Matched opts - Classic arena - Corr off - Rings/Dungeon ON - North spawn attacks first round, then the other team. When the day has come we massed up and managed to get a semi-decent pull. DW pulled 21 people so we dropped a few then walked in. I apologise to Dragonwood that we had 22 in portal when you rushed us, our person at the portal didnt leave in time but I pm'ed Darkrai about that during the war too. Round 1 starting: The first round was very even in the beginning, Dragonwood attacked, while we defended (obviously). Both sides dropped first their targets quickly. Then we managed to get a small lead, but after that we piled one of their tanks allowing DW to catch up. Both us and DW had a dominant range unit, but we had to switch styles a lot because they did well with the prayer switching. The turning point was around 13-12 when we took the lead and never looked back. Both sides had some good and some bad tanks, and in the end we had like 2 binders and 10 rangers, but Dome did an awesome job binding ;) Ending: War pics: Round 2 starting: After the short break to get specs and gear up we walked back to CWA and were ready for the second round - all styles. We outpulled DW by a few people again, so we dropped a few again and walked in. We picked our pile and rushed DW. The first few targets dropped around the same time, but then DW got a great transition and k0ed one of our members giving them the lead. We did not give up and kept trying and actually managed to get some k0es, so we quickly caught up and took the lead at the 18-17 mark. After that we never looked back, our style balance was pretty good though at times the binds lacked. Props to Zq50, who tanked at least 3 kills as usual, great job man, also great tanking from Silent Nerco. Later on we managed to get a few more koes, increasing the gap in our favour. Soon there was only H A Richards standing on the battlefield. Ending: Thanks for the enjoyable and clean fight DW, hope we can do it again in the future. Great job today SE <3
