Ah see, this is why I said that 99 def isn't worth it. Plus at higher def, I'm more likely to see turmoil pures, which is trouble for everyone, even for range tanks. I'll aim for ~85 def for now, and see what happens later. Thanks for the comments everyone. More input would be appreciated though.

Hi, what defence level should I get for a good balance for pking and doing GWD? I'm currently lvl 80 def, and I heard its not worth it to get 99 def for pking. I would like to do arma gw someday, since I'm a range tank. And if the new range prayer from dungeoneering is good, I might raise my prayer up, so I do not want to get my defence too high.

Thats because you went from f2p to p2p, or vice versa. I believe when you get 100% ep and then go to f2p, its glitched and gives you over 100% ep. When you went back to p2p, it showed the appropriate amount, 100%.

So I went to the RSOF and an example was "selling junk 10m (40/60)" What does the 40/60 mean? I want to know how I can sell my 4.7m stable junk.

Yeah, I guess people don't realize that if you go up a metal, it would be the same accuracy and strength. Steel knives = Mith darts Steel knives cost more than mith darts Personally, I buy the mith darts and have been using them for a while. I don't buy knives anymore because the darts are much cheaper.

Wow epic fail. So 1st trip, I totally forgot my quickpray was on range, and ended up getting hit hard with mage. She had about 1/3 health left. 2nd trip, I swtich back to mage pray, and got hardcore gangbanged by range, ROL saved me with 5 lp left :cry: She has like 1/10 health left. 3rd trip, I kill her 1st form and take her 2nd form down to almost dead; Had to tele, FML. 4th trip, I fired 2 rune bolts and kill her <_< Drop was rune chainbody. I failed so hard. i don't know why i did so good my 1st time, but everytime since them its getting harder and harder to kill her haha.

Update: LOL, I just got the KQ challenge again. 2 KQ tasks in 2 or 3 days?!?!? I'll be bringing the same setup and inventory as what I posted, except this time I'll try switching out the granite shield and bringing a zammy book instead. Also, I'll be praying range instead of mage. If I get pwned too much by the mage attack, I'll just tele and count that as a failed trip. Wish me luck on d chain :P EDIT: Oh yea, I remembered why I failed my 2nd task. I didnt bring an antipoison. Replace one of the sharks for a super antipoison. Now that I think about it, I'll still bring the granite shield to help with the melee def. EDIT 2: On second thought, I'm going to pray mage cuz my mage def is only 134 while my range def is 200.

You could have always checked really quickly. Just buy 1 grimy herb, clean it and sell it on the GE. Of course I haven't cleaned any herbs for a while so I can't be 100% sure so it's best to make sure just in case Jagex has made any ninja changes to the game :ugeek: Well the reason I asked this question is that if the 4 hour limit applied, after I bought that 1 grimy herb, I couldn't check to see if it sells cuz I'd have to wait 4 hours haha :rolleyes: It doesn't matter anyways now, the herb I was planning on cleaning doesn't even sell at mid :mellow:

Ok, just making sure. I didn't want to sell the clean herb to see if it sells, only to find out that I have to buy the grimy herb after 4 hours.

If I was to buy a certain grimy herb, can I sell the clean version of the herb right away, or do I have to wait 4 hours?

Many guides out there but basically you wear some good range defense armor with magic 'accesorries' staff, etc. You will lure rex to a safe spot, best method of soloing you will actually still need a partner go in and die so Surpreme and Prime are not on you. Best bet IMO find someone that witll Duo with you, go down and show you the ropes. Ah cool, that was helpful. So you still need a suicider to get rid of supreme and prime? So what happens when you're maging rex, do supreme and prime leave you alone the whole time? Or will they attack you if they get in your range? But thanks for your advice, I'll just find someone to duo with before attempting to solo.

Oh well the 1st time I got there, I used the broomstick. But I tele to my house to recharge my prayer and then I use a mounted glory to get back to Al Kharid.

So say I have a friend who has 93 farming. I have a 95 farming effigy. If he was to eat a garden pie and boost his farming to 96, and then accept my assist request, would that work for my effigy?

My stats are: 70 att and str 80 def 97 range 49 pray 1 summ What I wear: Full slay helm Glory Arma chest Arma legs Barrow gloves Snakeskin Boots Ring of life Granite Shield (don't remember what I brought the 1st trip) 40 diamond bolts (e) Inventory: 40 runite bolts range pot super def pot 2x pray pots 21x sharks EDIT: 20 sharks, 1 super antipoison 1 shanty pass Tele to house The 1st time I did this task, it took me 2 trips. On the 2nd trip, i only used 10 sharks. I did this task again like 2 days ago, and she pwned me. It took me 3 trips. I think I failed this task because I prayed mage, and I "THINK" on the 1st task I prayed range, I'm not sure. Also, I forgot to pot up on the 2nd task and remembered after I wasted like 10 sharks. On my 2nd task I prayed mage, steel skin and eagle eye. Watch your pray and make sure it never reaches 0. I don't remember how come I did better on my 1st task. Use diamond bolts (e) for her 1st form, and use runite for her 2nd. You can still hit her with range in her 1st form, it'll just be a lot harder, hence the diamond bolts. You might be able to kill her in 1 trip if you have a terrorbird, because I only ate 10 sharks on my 1st task, 2nd trip. Good luck =D EDIT: Oh yea, my drops. 1st task: like 30k worth of iron arrows? Wow really? Haha, I've been lending claws too cheap then. I recently bought claws and never really used them before since I'm a range tank, so I've been lending them to other people for 30k/hr. I guess now I'll lend out for 50-60k.

Since when does killing someone who is skilling = No skill? Last time i checked, taking easy kills is just common sense. Anyone who critisises someone else for getting very easy money is nothing short of a moron. Thanks for all the advice. I will definitely try out avainsies, once i get my 94 magic i should be able to beat a majority of people that attack me (unless i get a clan, of course). Taking the easy kills lack the challenge and excitement of a real fight. Sure you made a free 200-600k, but did you earn it?

That can still be a range tank if you want. Just never touch att or str ever again. 72+76=148, which is the most you can get att and str to. Even if you level up att or str, it doesn't mean you have failed, just that you'll be fighting at a higher cmb level.
