Maxed range tank: 99 def range hp 49 pray 103 combat lvl Me: 99 range hp 81 def 74 pray 102 combat lvl People have said it's not worth maxing as a 99 def tank because the extra levels aren't worth the higher combat lvl. They say stop at 87 or 94 def to maximize the bonuses from a super def pot. If I got rigour, I'd be in the same combat range as maxed range tanks. Would I do better than them? Would it be worth it for me to get rigour? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like to slay. I rarely if ever boss, I've never been to arma yet, and I can't do TDs. Do you think the chaotic cbow is worth it for me? I most likely won't bring it into BH +1 since it has a terribly low alching value. Should I just wait for the dragon cbow to come out? Last question: If you think I should get both, what should I prioritize in getting first? Sorry if I sound like I need other people to tell me what to do, I just like to hear everyone's thoughts before spending time and energy getting something I'd ultimately regret. Also, don't say get CR/CLS/CM since I don't melee. Thanks.

I know this because instead of playing this game, I like to hold a stopwatch to my screen and record how long it takes me to do what I do. Also, if it took me 42 hours, 29 mins, and 16 secs for me to get from 1 dung to 77 dung, I'm sure it'll only take you 42 hours, 29 mins, and 18 secs for you to get from 1 dung to 77 dung too! Seriously, why do people ask that? Will the time I spend on a skill motivate you to doing the skill too?

Didn't we already have the lobby during the last one? If not it was very close. I don't think the lobby was invented back then. I'm not 100% on that though. I also hope the lobby doesn't count as play time.

If this bonus weekend will be anything like the last one was supposed to be, it will start at x2.7 and after exactly 10 hours it will be x1.1 for the rest of the weekend. After how many hours will the rate be x1.5? I want to know how many pots I should buy so that way I don't end up wasting money making pots at x1.1 when I bought them at double their price.

Rocktails 2k+ ea. Where have you been? Also the fishing rank is a huge plus. Fishing is my favorite skill so i spend the majority of my time on rs fishing. And hey who doesn't love playing other online games while playing rs. Most of my fishing xp is from shark. I do rocktail every now and then but the people down there can get on my nerves.... Endless spam on how everyone is a bot or arguments about nothing. Up to 75 big shark now =D I'll buy those papayas from you lollololololololol.

Happy ranger is happy. So what should I get first, chaotic cbow or rigour? I'm leaning towards cbow first because apparently the +120 range bonus is legit.

Hi there. I'm also a range tank as you can see in my sig. Let me know if you have anymore questions about range tanking since your questions have been answered already. I'm just gonna expand a lil bit more on your questions. As of now, I have yet to fight a turmoil zerker. It's probably because I'm really laggy in +1 worlds so I stick to non +1. But I got 70 att and str before I decided I wanted to turn into a range tank. It's good for training your defence and for slayer. Even though you want to keep your str as low as possible against turmoil, I'm sure with the right tanking gear you still should be able to dominate turmoil zerkers. I've never PC'ed or SW'ed any of my stats, they all came from training. Again with prayer, I got 49 before deciding I wanted to PK. IMO, anything between 44-52 is good enough. I'm glad I stayed with 49 instead of going for 52 because those 3 pray lvls I didn't get saved me from gaining an extra combat lvl twice. As of now, my combat lvl is 96.85, so if I gain a lvl in ANYTHING, I'd be 97. 1 combat lvl doesn't matter much, but at the same time it leads to easier fights. I'd rather fight like lvl 96.15's than 96.85's. That rigour prayer is coming out soon if you want to get it. I'm leaning towards getting it myself; first I'm going to wait and see what the general consensus is before buying it. You also need to spend a lot of time in dung. Range tanks can do everything that is available except for the Blood Runs Deep quest, which requires 75 att and str. Getting 75 att and str will make you melee based. Of course, you can still get it and be a successful range tank. Don't listen to people if they say you're a fail range tank; 1 combat lvl shouldn't make a differnce at all in your ability to win fights. Being lvl 104 instead of 103 will not hinder your ability to range tank. If you want access to everything, don't be afraid to get 75 att and str and wear that quest cape :thumbup: Sure there are turmoil zerkers, but remember they need to spend enough money for 95 pray. Not a lot of people have the time and resources to do that. And if you DO manage to find someone, they'll have around 70 att against your 99 def. Sure they can hit harder, but it's going to be difficult to hit. A maxed zerker with 99 att and str might do better than a turmoil zerker with 73 att and 99 str.
