That's what happened to me once. I fight my targ and I kill him but I don't get targ loot. In fact, I get basically nothing; just things you would get for getting a rogue kill on someone who didn't risk. So I bank and come back out in the wildy, waiting for my targ. After 4 mins I go find my targ and I see him eping at lvl 1. I attack him and he eats and tells me to gtfo. He banks and heads over to the wildy vol or clan wars. I call a friend over to help me out. He come back to edgy lvl 1 and I attack him again. He tells me we're not targs anymore even though my arrow was pointing right at him. I explain I didn't get anything from dropping him and we're still targs. He says no and to leave him alone. He banks and I go to lvl 5 wildy west. I wait 5 mins and go to find him. When I got there, my arrow was pointing at the ground where he used to be, and my targ is no where to be seen. So one of my friends tells me to log and relog. I do it, and my targ bar is still full and says targ is away. So I wait 10 mins and get a new targ. Sorry you were unlucky and lost your targ. TL;DR - Jagex be glitching.

Is that confirmed? It was confirmed for the 1st few days, but then Mod Nexus looked at the coding and fixed it so it does indeed do extra damage. There are at least 3 threads on RSOF where Mod Nexus posted that I read.

Tamond 28-Aug-2010 06:28:13 -facepalm- "magical defense 25%" in Augury is a typo/logical failure. Piety: 25% physical boost, which means 25% range and melee defense boost. Against magic it only counts as 7% or so, as magical defense is weighted more by magic level than defense. (99 mage in metal armor takes less magical hits than 1 mage in ultimate ranger gear). Rigour gives the same bonuses. 25% defense level, so about 25% melee and ranged defense with 7% magical defense. Augury gives 25% physical defense by boosting the defense level, but also boosts magic level (invisibly, so it's accuracy, anti-splash, and magical defense, not damage boost) 20% magical boost is weighted for about 14 or 15% boost, and adding on the Defense boost, combines to be over 20% magcal defense boost as well. ---------------------------------------------------------- This was posted on my thread on RSOF. Is there proof that it only raises range def? I heard augury only raises mage def too. Is that a flaw or is it intended?

Maxed range tank: 99 def range hp 49 pray 103 combat lvl Me: 99 range hp 81 def 74 pray 102 combat lvl People have said it's not worth maxing as a 99 def tank because the extra levels aren't worth the higher combat lvl. They say stop at 87 or 94 def to maximize the bonuses from a super def pot. If I got rigour, I'd be in the same combat range as maxed range tanks. Would I do better than them? Would it be worth it for me to get rigour? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like to slay. I rarely if ever boss, I've never been to arma yet, and I can't do TDs. Do you think the chaotic cbow is worth it for me? I most likely won't bring it into BH +1 since it has a terribly low alching value. Should I just wait for the dragon cbow to come out? Last question: If you think I should get both, what should I prioritize in getting first? Sorry if I sound like I need other people to tell me what to do, I just like to hear everyone's thoughts before spending time and energy getting something I'd ultimately regret. I know this because instead of playing this game, I like to hold a stopwatch to my screen and record how long it takes me to do what I do. Also, if it took me 42 hours, 29 mins, and 16 secs for me to get from 1 dung to 77 dung, I'm sure it'll only take you 42 hours, 29 mins, and 18 secs for you to get from 1 dung to 77 dung too! Seriously, why do people ask that? Will the time I spend on a skill motivate you to doing the skill too?

Didn't we already have the lobby during the last one? If not it was very close. I don't think the lobby was invented back then. I'm not 100% on that though. I also hope the lobby doesn't count as play time.

If this bonus weekend will be anything like the last one was supposed to be, it will start at x2.7 and after exactly 10 hours it will be x1.1 for the rest of the weekend. After how many hours will the rate be x1.5? I want to know how many pots I should buy so that way I don't end up wasting money making pots at x1.1 when I bought them at double their price.

Rocktails 2k+ ea. Where have you been? Also the fishing rank is a huge plus. Fishing is my favorite skill so i spend the majority of my time on rs fishing. And hey who doesn't love playing other online games while playing rs. Most of my fishing xp is from shark. I do rocktail every now and then but the people down there can get on my nerves.... Endless spam on how everyone is a bot or arguments about nothing. Up to 75 big shark now =D I'll buy those papayas from you lollololololololol.

Happy ranger is happy. So what should I get first, chaotic cbow or rigour? I'm leaning towards cbow first because apparently the +120 range bonus is legit.
