That mod was wrong. You still need the boost to plant the tree in the patch. I would know because I spent a lot of time getting spices to plant my spirit tree yesterday. I needed the boost to put the seed in a pot, and I needed the boost AGAIN to transfer the seedling from the pot to the spirit patch. If you need proof I have pics on the pic/screenies thread. The pics are only of me trying to get spices, which proves I acutally know what I'm talking about :rolleyes: If you look at my pic I have 2 spirit seedlings in my inventory, yet I'm still trying to get spices to stew. That's because I tried planting the seedlings but I needed 83 farm to plant them. Anyways, what I would like to know is do you get the xp from checking the tree w/o the boost?

OMFG I wish you told me that like 2 hours ago. I wanted to stew but my hellcat turned overgrown, so I bought a kitten because I didn't know what else to do :wall: The cat is so flabbergasted at your inventory he can't concentrate on the mice and keeps failing. I thought the point of having a ko weapon was to hit a good final blow. He seems to use his ko weapon every other attack. :P He also doesn't have much of pking stats. 111 combat and you have 80 range as your primary weapon? At least he stays f2p instead of wasting someone's time in p2p. I hate getting mains like him as my targ; they either don't fight and log after 9 mins of staying in the safe zone, or hide in multi with their clan.

You know what gets me the most? The last 2 guys had honor.

Nah, its ok, I didn't care much about getting heads; I wanted a better chance of getting elites than camping irons. I just figured if you can't get heads from LS, chances are you can't get clues either. Your way sounds intriguing, but if one of us gets a vissy I don't want to do max trade 80 times to share :ohnoes:

Aww weak, my friend and I did a couple trips of kbd using ls instead of cs because I wanted an elite clue haha. Oh well, back to cs then.

There was an update concerning the ropes. Now each person has to put their own rope on, but it will stay on there forever. Kinda like the rope to GWD.

That's what happened to me once. I fight my targ and I kill him but I don't get targ loot. In fact, I get basically nothing; just things you would get for getting a rogue kill on someone who didn't risk. So I bank and come back out in the wildy, waiting for my targ. After 4 mins I go find my targ and I see him eping at lvl 1. I attack him and he eats and tells me to gtfo. He banks and heads over to the wildy vol or clan wars. I call a friend over to help me out. He come back to edgy lvl 1 and I attack him again. He tells me we're not targs anymore even though my arrow was pointing right at him. I explain I didn't get anything from dropping him and we're still targs. He says no and to leave him alone. He banks and I go to lvl 5 wildy west. I wait 5 mins and go to find him. When I got there, my arrow was pointing at the ground where he used to be, and my targ is no where to be seen. So one of my friends tells me to log and relog. I do it, and my targ bar is still full and says targ is away. So I wait 10 mins and get a new targ. Sorry you were unlucky and lost your targ. TL;DR - Jagex be glitching.

Is that confirmed? It was confirmed for the 1st few days, but then Mod Nexus looked at the coding and fixed it so it does indeed do extra damage. There are at least 3 threads on RSOF where Mod Nexus posted that I read.

Tamond 28-Aug-2010 06:28:13 -facepalm- "magical defense 25%" in Augury is a typo/logical failure. Piety: 25% physical boost, which means 25% range and melee defense boost. Against magic it only counts as 7% or so, as magical defense is weighted more by magic level than defense. (99 mage in metal armor takes less magical hits than 1 mage in ultimate ranger gear). Rigour gives the same bonuses. 25% defense level, so about 25% melee and ranged defense with 7% magical defense. Augury gives 25% physical defense by boosting the defense level, but also boosts magic level (invisibly, so it's accuracy, anti-splash, and magical defense, not damage boost) 20% magical boost is weighted for about 14 or 15% boost, and adding on the Defense boost, combines to be over 20% magcal defense boost as well. ---------------------------------------------------------- This was posted on my thread on RSOF. Is there proof that it only raises range def? I heard augury only raises mage def too. Is that a flaw or is it intended?
