Creation of the Tidbits forum
I got an idea for a new forum: Tidbits. This will function just like Zybez's Tips Forum. Here you can post little pieces of information. These "tips" aren't detailed enough to be a guide, and not really enough to be in general discussion. It's basically a place to put interesting ideas or things most people don't know. To post a tidbit you must include a poll to gauge how others liked the tidbit. Zybez has likes/dislikes thumbs, but we can use polls. The poll format must look like this: Question: Did you enjoy this tidbit? Choice 1: Yes Choice 2: No All polls must be made public. Rules in this forum: You cannot post things from Jagex's recent updates, or "In other news...". You cannot copy a tip from Zybez and post it here; be creative and come up with your own tidbit instead of stealing another person's tip from Zybez. To create better relationships with other fan sites, there could be a stickied thread labeled "Tidbits from other fan sites". Here on the first post lists useful tips that have been posted on other sites, such as Zybez. Forum members can discuss how useful these tips from other sites are and can suggest new tips to be added to the first post. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think a forum like this could either be it's own forum, or be a subforum of Help & Advice or Archive of Wisdom. For example, I have an idea about how using extreme range pots can be cheaper than using regular range pots. Unfortunately, there is no where for me to put it at the moment. My information isn't really enough for it to be generally discussed, it isn't teaching someone how to do something so it isn't a guide, and I'm not asking for help so it doesn't belong in H&A.

Full arma or void + acp?
So no matter what the monster's def might be and no matter what your accuracy is against that monster it's always better to use the deflector + acp? Thanks, I guess my question has been answered. :shades:

True haha. [spoiler=at first I was like:] [spoiler=but then I was like:] Son of a [bleep]. Oh well, time to get that rigour

Bank PK Loot Automatically
I'm neither agreeing nor disagreeing with you, but I would just like to point out that I do not want to bank 1/2 pineapple pizzas, 1/2 meat pies, and cheese potatoes.

Full arma or void + acp?
Ya, this is what I'm aiming at. I'm trying to think also about a situation where it wouldn't be the best, so I asked my question to see if anyone else can think of one. Here, my question is sort of answered, they said - Instead of: Low def monsters - void High def monsters - arma It is now: DPS - void needing def - arma ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What about a purely damage outputting scenario where you are hitting 50% with the deflector and acp? Would it be better to switch to full arma, or would you still stick to void? What I am getting at is: At what % accuracy would full arma trump the acp + deflector? Before the deflector, it was at 71%. Now with the deflector + acp combo, what is the new percentage?
-
Full arma or void + acp?
Ya that's what I'm trying to find out. Is the acp + deflector better in EVERY SINGLE CIRCUMSTANCE imaginable, or full arma better in some situations?
-
Full arma or void + acp?
I read a long time ago if you are hitting over 71% of the time, you should use void, and if under, use arma. Low def monsters: void. High def monsters: arma. Well, when is the void deflector + acp better than full arma? Is void deflector + acp better in all circumstances now, or is full arma better in some places? Places that I have in mind is armadyl gw, fight caves, and frost dragons.

Broken elite clue?
+1. Looks like you're 1 step away from it.

Why are you "old school"
I'm old skool because I played back RSC. I'm old skool because I found 2 santa hats that dropped one day Christmas morning. I'm old skool because I was young back then and got my account hacked 4 times, resulting in the lost of my santa hats. I'm old skool because I remember rangers could pj anyone in the wildy, multi or not. I'm old skool because I remember when the rune pick came out, letting you hit up to 12 times! I'm old skool because I train the skill I like, and not to get a cape. I'm old skool.

Worst. Death. Ever. I know this has already been posted but I just wanna share my story. So my team starts on the boss like 20 secs before me. I tele to ggs, put on mage pray. As soon as I step inside the boss room, shadow-forger activates his spec and downs me for instant ko. Like literally, the transition from outside of boss room to inside of boss room and i died. [insert facepalm here]

Sumona or Duradel
Background: I'm a range tank. I have 140k tokens for rigour. Getting 74 pray will make me 100 combat. I'm trying my hardest to never train summon (or else I'd go for kuradal). I don't want to summon because opening up more things to do in runescape will make me want to play more and wreak havoc on my social life. Getting rigour is 50/50 to me; I'm not sure I'd like sacrificing my defence to have a CHANCE of hitting an extra 30. I've gotten 87 almost 88 slay with only sumona. I have no problem sticking with her. I don't plan on maxing out my def. Pros for 100 combat: Black drags, dark beasts, steel drags, mith drags open up. More monsters per task. More points for task. Cons against 100 combat: Goraks and suqahs open up. I lose blue drags. I'd be up against 92-95 def range tanks. Their def bonus would be around 9 points higher than mine. If I'm not praying, easier to get clawed or hand cannon rushed. Terrorbirds instead of torts if I ever decide to do the quest. Grey area: Waterfiends. Never tried them, seemed kinda iffy with range. I lose sumona's challenge for Duradel's. I kinda liked killing the KQ. I don't really skip that many tasks with sumona, so I don't really need extra points. Skeletal wyverns? I've never had a black demon or scabarite task from sumona for some reason Conclusion: I guess what I'm really aiming for is whether or not its wise for a not maxed range tank to get rigour. Luck plays a great deal in pking; I've died a bunch to tanks that have 70 def to my 81, with them using a msb. I've only seen 1 person with rigour pking, his name is iRigour and he has the same stats as me haha. Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to him about whether he won more fights. Thank you for your time, and if you read this I would appreciate some kind of input. Please don't shrug this off and not post anything :)

Drop Rates of Elite Clue Scrolls
Sorry to hijack your thread, but what would be the best to kill: irons, steels, or miths? Miths probably have the best drop rate, but they take so long to kill. Irons probably have the lowest drop rate but have much less defence.

Ask your questions or sig resizing here!
Can I add this to my current sig? Or will it exceed the maximum size allowed?

Smithing Connundrum
Yes, but FUN equals money too  Personally I love playing sc and spawn camping the other team. I skill till I have around 50k score, and then spawn trap. Of course, if anyone tries stealing my team's resources while I'm getting points I'm ready to defend. 23-24 sc points every 25ish minutes is worth it for me because its fun

Raising Magic
Stun alch at 80. It's around 2.5 gp/xp

Should I gain defense
What all do I gain with having 1 def. The only real advantage you have is pking, which at most is about 2% of the game. 2% of the game? Some people only play runescape to pk, which can be over 90% of their game. Your att and str are too high to be a (successful) tank, you should become a zerker instead. You still have access to a lot of the game while being proficient at pking.

Broken Pking
Happens to me far too often. Whats even worst is that their your targ and you fight twice and STILL someone else gets the drop <_<
