What the hell? Can you please respond to my action instead of a P.S. comment?
  2. Rocco, did you see my post about how I Rick Roll'd myself playing DDR?

The Shamans are tasked with studying the creation of food, through alchemy, magic, or as-of-yet overlooked mundane means. The thiefs are instructed to roam the nearby desert in search of an oasis or signs of civilization, each scouting party given a Shaman to protect them and guide them back to the village magically should they become lost. (Seriously? I rolled a 19 and started in an area incapable of sustaining human life anyways? Well, I can work with that I suppose. Also, that was a joke about the last advisor being killed. I'll have the head Shaman be Telk and the head Thief be Kurz.)

Well, technically we are not evil either. True Neutral, to me, means that you are completely and utterly selfish. Your only driving force is personal gain, and there's nothing to hold you back but your personal limits. More like Ambitious Neutral, I guess.
  5. I don't like searching things people tell me too. I have yet to be an example for the dangers of such actions, but I am familiar with the mistakes of others. I especially don't listen to Mather.

Who? I have decided that this game is distinctly deficient of evil. Besides, middle of the desert, good luck avoiding heatstroke in that heavy crusader armour of yours.
  7. Erm, what? What is it? And yes, I am SO getting it for Reach. Bungie's last hurrah with the Halo series, and their crowning achievement.

Town name: Telandra Name: Talchin Nehandhra Weapon: His bare hands. Holding set of fighting claws. Alignment: True Neutral Race: Humans...? Adviser: wanted, experience needed in the fields of diplomacy and ducking. Banner: An unnecessary device serving to give away the position of foolish traditionalists to their enemies. Armies: Stealthy, well-trained bastards skilled in the fine arts of sneaking, stealing, and slaving, kept in line by shamans and their inhuman servants. Backstory: Foreign legends say that the Telandrans are made of sand and the breath of the desert god, though such legends are wisely told far from the Telandrans themselves. Special Unit: Shamans, capable of enslaving the spirits of the dead to make powerful phantoms and sculpting the desert to their desire.

Heh. DESERT HLAUPARI! One moment please.
  10. Apparently I have nearly $100 in gift cards, and probs at least half that much in old, hated games. Not to mention my gamecube. Know what that means? XBOX 360 WITHIN THE WEEK! :D
  11. Nexaduro replied to Earth's topic in Falador Tavern
Yeah, pretty far North, aproximatley the same latitude as Iceland. ... DAMN YOU TWO. I was so going to be Hlaupari. <_< *Sigh* Lemme think of something else...

I should be. :) And Tech, were you for or against me lending Sarah throwing knives? I remember taking a vote. And I remember many people were quite nervous. Rightly so, she's never thrown before and yet almost always hits a bullseye.
  13. Actually, as shown on Stan Lee's Superhumans, there is in fact a blind man who can navigate by echolocation.
  14. Changing topic, who else is going to save up for an Xbox just to be able to play this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKRlWLDWhGI&feature=pyv&ad=6208317345&kw=halo%20reach

Grandisonant = grand-sounding. It's how I write my essays and such, I barely look at the paper. I just set my mind on the path of that one subject and spout out big words. Like grandisonant. I was saying that a side consequence is that I barely look at any of my writing as a whole, and my mind goes on either emotional autopilot or damage control. Not sure what my thought process is at the moment, probably boredom and sleepyness.

Meh, I criticize when I feel like it sometimes. No real feeling behind it. I think my skill at writing grandisonant fluff can be a bad thing occasionally.
  17. Meh, Skull beat me to the punch. But the chickens concur and so do I. What qualities do you look for in possible additions to a group? What are your favourite video games, aside from RS? Is there any event, product release, or anything else you're looking forward to? Have you ever tried throwing knives, axes, javelins or anything else along those lines? Are any of you familiar with the SCA? Have you ever tried Tyrian 2000? Pertaining to the last question, I highly recommend it. It's free online so long as you have a Microsoft computer, and extraordinarily ahead of it's times. Reliable download site for the game.
  18. See? Paper. Lots of paper. That means lots of trees. Can't you see the irony? The death penalty is killing us! EDIT: Yay, an Admin! Hi Admin person! Hrm, wonder if any of the Admins do throwing weapons? Let's see if the ask the staff thread is still up...

The only flaming when Hex is here is from you and (to a lesser degree, Dungeonal) Rocco so , just shut the [bleep]ing hell up for once. I'm tired of you being such an ass, go bash your head into a thin wall or jump off some bridge that won't injure you too badly. You're not too bad of a person, and sometimes enough is enough, I wish you'd get a temporary ban sometime soon just as a reminder that being a jerk when you can't back it up brings nothing but trouble for both the victim and the assailant. To be honest I could do without the blatant and unfounded spite. Seriously, could some mod just, like, suspend his privileges for a day or two? That would be kinda cool, it's not like there are any real games going on, and I wouldn't go to bed without a headache (God willing) for a little while at least. No offense, Rocco, but you really have no sense of moderation. Dungeonal is the "best" troll here, and his trolling seems more like wry humour and less like actual hate and pointless flaming. Now, I am tired, I am happy with this ultimatum, and I am going to bed before someone makes me wish I had just hit the power button and not tried to get the last word.

If the Admins don't like us, let them ban us all. I love this place, and I dislike them to a fair degree. Not as people, merely as adjudicators. They have a very optimistic view that just isn't reliably compatible with realistic situations. I dislike the Admins more than I've ever disliked you, Hex. I think your decision to bring your argument to a higher authority was correct, it's not your fault that the authority was completely unequipped to competently deal with the situation. I believing censoring of any sort not pertaining to content which might be harmful to children is a violation. Moderators have no reason not to be criticized, if the criticism is coherent it can only help them improve.
  21. D'aaw, sad face. I'm sure you'll get it done eventually, and it will probably be great. Erm, and don't starve yourself buying the materials.
  22. The hell? How badly did I roll? And also... the blades were not edged towards the arm, they were more like this: Only instead of two tips it continues curving forwards to a smooth point. Past the hand, the sides are edged as well. C'est la vie. Instead, we form longswords ot of the metal and use them to hopefully beat the crap out of our attackers.
  23. Talchin whips out his useless, though likely quite intimidating wings and forms a skeletal mask of steel over his face (out of his staff metal), raising his arms. Kerdur and Syllelin slide blades of steel out of their sleeves, a 'la Kyran of course, and stand at the ready. This is basically to scare the crap out of them, to get at least a few to desert, but if necessary I'll be forming small, sharp finger caps as claw weapons so I can keep the mask.
  24. Back into town, with the intent of getting a pack animal of some sort. :) Failing that, or afterwards: North, following whatever roads we come across.
