*Shrugs* I can only think of two humanoid mutants that might be that fast. If it was a Bloodsucker I shouldn't have tried biting it though.

Well, whatever I fought is nothing from STALKER if not an overclocked Snork or Bloodsucker.
  3. Plus control over the eastern half of the Mediterranean (and assistance by the Spanish fleet towards that goal), free passage through the straits of Gibraltar, and a strong military alliance with one of the great powers of Europe. Or Byzantium couldn't sided with the giant mega coalition that would disintegrate immediately after it's objectives were completed, and be stuck with some relatively weak alliances with nations that really didn't owe them anything and so future support from was not assured. Yeah, I think doom made the right decision. No, not really, BECAUSE THE GAME ENDED.

Looks like Ross ran into a poltergeist or something, and I guess you've made Snorks more dangerous Paul. :P
  5. In Avatar? What do you mean English voice? It's an American cartoon.

I'll be here. I'm not missing a chance to bite a mutant's throat out!

I screech, swiping my katana at the creatures legs and then, if the creature is still close, let go of the katana and lunge with my entire body. As we fall, I stab my dagger into it's right arm and dig my canine teeth into the veins of it's neck.

I crouch against a wall and away from the windows, hissing. "Let's see who's the faster, who's the stronger, WHO'S THE HUNTER!" I draw another knife in my other hand. and prepare to deflect a quick attack.

I slowly walk into the room I came from, katana in hand. "Come out, come out! Fight a real warrior, whatever monster you are!"

I tell the men to remain vigilant and unafraid, then go to Kimako's section to look around. (What is the floorplan of the building anyways? How many floors, how many rooms?
  11. Pfft. Pirates. Think themselves better than we businessman. Ah, well, a part o' this world for better or for worse. I accept the drunks' request, and look around the bar for anyone of interest.

The Fracture Tech thing... It's basically a means of cleanly and safely separating any rock or metal within a certain distance of a special uplink. Those pieces can then be psionically propelled and any electronic components remotely activated while within the uplink's range. I was also thinking to be able to re-attach and reconstruct damaged sections so long as all the parts were within the uplink's range. There were also concepts for Fracture Tech mass drivers, and armour with different layers interchangeable during combat.

And underpowered is useless, Rocco. Thinking about it, it seems like I just have a 400-year tech that's completely useless compared to 100-year ones. I mean, I feel like I just can't expect a lot from it. I'm getting the sense that it'll be Archi's Thunder Rays all over again, a tech that is essentially the center of a nation and yet ends up being severely below expectations and on the level of universal techs.

Only one of the things has to be manned, and the ship section spontaneously break off and... *Sigh* Ok, now it just seems like a useless waste of resources. Goddamnit... I guess I should just go with damned giant lazers or nukes or some other stupid thing that every frickin' other person has.
  17. I collect the moeny, and decide that the situation is too far gone for a simple barkeep to deal with. I ask the drunk his price.

My race is primarily psionic, but it's more computer-assisted telekinesis and doesn't do anything involving the enemy mind. Kademi are psionic in the same kind of way as the Orkz, their tech wouldn't work without a driving mental force.

Oh, I get it. That joke is now at least twice as funny. :D

Not in my opinion, of course it would probably take a long time and a lot of research and it would be easily defendable from. And its detectable, realistic (providing manipulation of gravity), limited and doesn't proxy control your race in a couple of seconds. Mather, we can talk about whatever we like and complain about whatever we like, if there is a problem it needs to be fixed. I don't think anyone is playing as human hegemony, its just a lore thing. Theoretically, it's easy to defend against. Theoretically, it's detectable. Theoretically, it's limited. Theoretically, it doesn't proxy control your race in a couple of seconds. They're basically more intricate, adaptable and useful versions of Mather's drones. And more realistic as well, because they will run out due to the fact that I CANNOT PRODUCE INFINITE MASS IN THE SHAPE OF COMPLICATED DRONE MISSILES. False. Anything is possible when you're Norwegian. Also Mather please revise your definition of troll. You do know that I am Norwegian. :P
  21. This game is awesome, no offense ICU but it's better than the original.

Hrm, is tech that allows me to create a massive swarm of controllabe flying pointed boulders with lazers/missiles/explosive interiors and warp developments into another sector OP?
  24. Nexaduro replied to archimage_a's topic in Falador Tavern
Oh, you know where this will go otherwise... C'mon, the rest revealed their ridiculous OP techs that caused everyone to complain... Besides, if you get it over with now people will forget about it in no time.
