iron and granite ARE the fastest methods to 99 mining if your dropping or have a close bank for the iron. based on how your guide is built, you should be calling it "How to lvl mining and get money" because the methods you've said are just that, slow lvling but good with money. if you have the patience to mine the highest thing you can throughout the entire ordeal of mining to 99, then congrats to you. but if not, just power mine from 45-99, you'll be done in 3 months on iron. rune ores from 85 -99? good idea but bad aswell, this will extend the amount of time till 99 by months and months. while you'll be rich at the end, you could have finished mining and done another skill to reach the same amount of money in less time. PS: if you think my information has no credit, i've already delt with and completed 99 mining.

I'm curious, you wanted to get this clue done fast and yet you spent the extra time to get a full inventory of d'hides just to make a point that was rather hippocritical. by letting them provoke you into doing that, they won.

Heya, at the ardougne spot or granite mines ? How much xp per hour do you get at granite? and is it better then iron still? Havn't timed granite yet, with or without help. Ill do that later. oh, at the granite mines hehe. wakka: from what i've calculated, granite is a lil bit more relaxing than iron and you get more around the same if not a lil more exp. granite: 39760 - 43305 exp per hour (thats my average over 2 months). iron: 35190 - 42995 exp per hour (thats my average over a week). with granite i can still talk to friends while mining and still get 40k+ exp per hour. iron you kinda need full attention i feel. ------------- those are my calculations anyhow, will likely differ hehe.

still think slayer is harder forget the exp reason, what if you are poorly equipped and are doing slayer? ----- on a side not: i'm still averaging at 43305 exp per hour at granite. the lowest i've had it go per hour is 39760 exp per hour but that was due to a long pming arguement

hmm between the two, i'd really say that slayer is harder just since i'm not really all that interested in killing monsters that an npc is telling me to kill for months. also it feels to much like leveling in rsc... oh, and i have horrid luck at drops so... lol? however, farming is just one of those skills i hate doing for the 30 minutes i actually worry about it, then its forgetten. guess thats why my herbs are dead by the time i check them a few days later :wall: i definitely agree that the monotiny of other skills still puts slayer/farming to shame sometimes hehe.

ooo i remember you from back in rs1 : i did the same thing with my rs1/rs2 items by mistake, all my good stuff is on my rs 1 person hehe :wall: but i agree, when i came back in 2006, it was a real motivater to see that empty bank. stick with mine 2, drop 2 if your mining 2 rocks. but generally it'd be a good idea to mine the ores that your stationed at and then drop. (basically if your mining 3 iron rocks, mine 3, drop 3). the granite/sandstone mine in desert can still give you good exp but it requires waterskins. desert clothes make a 21 water skins last a little over 2 hours. and for me, from level 70 to 85, it took me 6 days
