hmm then explain to me this why is there random flesh color in his hair? why is there still remains of a bg in spaces in his hair (the white and grey stuff) There are stray pixels why? Some of the areas are outlined except for areas around the neck? This looks nothing like any of your other work Taking a photo, adding some effects then changing it a LITTLE with the pencil tool does not make this a hand drawn pixel. Which this isn't.

Hmm thats a bit hypocritical. Seeing as GS got the idea for this pixel from a past stlye. (the bajillions of top down games) Even if eckered did get the inspiration to try to do it from seeing GS's piece, the product would still be from the top down game genre. And observe and try to manipulate it through his own workings is exactly what eckered is doing. Although it may seem like copying, everybody copies somebody's style, then adds flare to it. And you cant make a fire hotter, til you make the fire first.

Pixel, Abstract, Terragen, Photoshop, GIMP, Photo Manipulation, etc. Granted it's possible but alot of people here use different abstract programs. :P It's impossible to do a Terragen collab anyway. I wouldn't be able to collab with a GIMP'r for instance. Unless someone makes a terragen and then another person manips it in ohotoshop, Wa lah. Collab

I concur. These games usualy have better storylines and community than the overrated ones such as *cough*runescape. Not only that, but the graphics make it so more updates, and variety of enemies are available. If only GS knew how to program games :boohoo:

its decent. It has no shading, the linework is kinda rough, and the whole thing is pretty simple. (i know sometimes simple is good.) I would reccomend shading, adding detail to it, and possibly a background, even if it is just a wall or table that its laying on. (My friend is naming her Jack russel slayer haha.)

Your arms swing when you walk. 9 to the front 6 to the rear mhm. Also, you dont walk from the knees, you walk from the hips, it is impossible to walk with just your knees. Also, your guy is kinda fat, theres usually space between your waist and your arms.

It comes out as more of en sth instead of sss. C/C The ocean is tooooo flat. I have never seen an ocean like that. Not even on the calmest days. The horizon should still show some signs of waves. The leaves look ....off, and dont really match (the ones in closest foreground. The map us also positioned oddly... i dont see how it could stand like that. The flail seems to be missing half isntead of being buried in sand. Her hair is WAY too thick. it reminds of snakes really...and it looks unappealing. The face... Her eyes are crooked and face the exact same direction.Make her left eye (our right) go down diagonally just a LITTLE more like 2 pixels maybe. they may also be too far apart, i cant really tell at the time. Her mouth isnt facing the same direction as her chins, meaning its crooked. Her top lips is also too large proportioned to her bottom imo. Sorry if i sounded harsh, that wasnt my intention.

Hmm, your pirate speak is politically incorrect. Only a high ordering official would be addressing the people indigenous to a new land. A scout or watchman would be exclaiming about seeing land. You cant have just seen land and still be talking to the people there. Tsk Tsk. Ok now seriousness. Its text, and some silhouettes..... Try to achieve something more difficult.

The first one was pretty simple to me? Maybe im just good at understanding interfaces?? I suppose ill give this a shot =).

Shading This is a must, her face just seems to be one big blob in your picture making her seem over weight. It also brings in a natural facial structure look to it. Neck Her neck seems too large in the drawing, i think you drew too much of it. Look in the picture, most of it is covered up, do the same in your picture. Eyes They look very asian currently and not squinted. I think its because she seems to have no upper eyelids. Nose The perspective ion your drawing makes it look way crooked, rotate it to the right a little more (so it faces more toward the chin). Mouth You drew it too high up, she now has a megachin haha. Aslo, you drew the smile too wide. Also with teeth, VERY faint lines must be used, and make sure to make them seem somewhat curved. (barely, and only if you know what im talking about.) Her lips also seem...off. I would suggest to keep trying on the, as currently their is no real shape to them, the shape they have is wavering and not really like in the picture. P.S sorry if i sounded harsh/rude, those werent my intentions.
