  1. I don't think she'll care at that point
  2. Well my 11 pray game plan does also have the advantage of being able to stake ;). The people who get rich will be the same people who get rich on the main game, people who are prepared to put a lot of time into training, and who have a good solid sustainable way of profiting, be that through advantage staking, PVM, or double natures. Or being a flower gamer -.-. Or by luring the hard-working, yet oddly naive stakers, boss hunters, skillers, and merchants :P
  3. I feel like the best way to "get rich quick" would be to set just one goal and stick to it. The first people to access a major item or item source would get rich pretty quickly. But keep in mind there won't be any billionaires in the game or anything, so who knows how "rich" you'll get. 85 slayer: very hard; very obvious Mage's book/master wand: Best mage weapon/shield. Not too difficult to get. Would get a lot of magic levels along the way. Requires a TON of runes, though. Antifire potions: farm metal dragons for rune hatchets Dagannoth Rex: dragon hatchets, berserker rings, warrior rings; easy boss to farm, not many requirements. Just full rune and slayer dart pretty much. Just gotta think outside the box a little-- which items are taken for granted and will have a very high demand and very low supply like rune hatchets?
  4. I'm almost positive that magic damage and autocasting hadn't been updated yet.
  5. Ranged will be a pain in the ass to train-- you'll be stuck using crappy armor for a while. No treasure trail gear; no high-level dragonhide for a while. Melee will be easy as always to train. Mage armor will be easy to buy from shops eventually. Runes will probably be very expensive, so hard to train. Runecrafting will always be very profitable probably. No blood crafting. No steady supply of bloods/souls till people can access the wizards guild. Agility's going to suck. Run energy and weight will be relevant again. Thieving's useless. Herblore might be profitable. No need to train it too high, though. No bosses really required brews back then. I only used brews for Fight Caves. Prayer stops at 43/52/70. Not too hard w/ ectofunctus and dragon bones. You could DIY w/o too much work. Hunter's gonna be more "end-game" for when people can afford to buy mass chins. Gonna be competitive as hell probably. Dragon darts/arrows at 83 hunter, but dragon arrows will be useless until 90+ slayers can farm dark bows. Firemaking will be COMPLETELY useless (no hand cannon, no adze) except for quest requirements such as Desert Treasure. Fishing/cooking/woodcutting/fletching will be great for everyone. TBH I think training those skills might actually be "fun" since it could actually be social, as opposed to 100% botted. Crafting will be very in-demand. Mining, not really sure. All metal armor/weapons are obtainable via shops or monster drops. Don't need to smith any gear. Would probably be stuck mining gold or something. Probably best to stick with iron, since those are needed for steel bars, which are needed for cannonballs, which are needed for slayer. Smithing, cannonballs would be good money. Efficient? Not sure. Smithing stuff like metal knives for rangers would probably be your best bet at higher levels. First to hit 85 slayer will have enough money for maxing out lol. Anyone remember S1acker's bank pic back in 2005? :D Slayer will suck until you can get a black mask. Cannons will probably be off-limits for a while. No Sumona, no Kuradal. Dark bows at 90 slayer, but those aren't as generalized as whips. Plus they require dragon arrows at 83 hunter to use. Farming will be handy as always. Construction might be worthwhile to train if you could "lease" your house for people to train prayer or use your portals for barrows and stuff.
  6. Things taken for granted like black d'hide gear will take a while to obtain. No glories till 80 crafting, no furies till 90. Might be a wise idea to invest in crafting. Smithing's still gonna be useless lol
  7. Lost City at a low Prayer level? Why not? Not that hard I guess, but Monkey madness? With low stats as well. Also getting enough runes to kill the tree might be a bit boring, a lot of wind strikes needed. But I agree lost city would be the easiest to do. Another thought, enchanted jewelry will be difficult to get, high crafting+magic levels needed. I have an idea if anyone is interested and will make a video on it later, going to be forming a "clan" based around working together for the quickest access to the best stuff (people focus on specific areas, then for example cut those logs into yew bows for a reasonable price relative to how much profit will be made from selling to the next person who will alch them for about the same profit as well). Might be a stupid idea but I am sure some fun can be had :P. Monkey madness isn't that bad. I did it at like 30-something combat w/o prayer when this account was a pure. Just need lots of food and energy for tunnels.
  8. I imagine if they make updates, the "convenience" updates such as grimy herbs and the run-backwards bug would be their first priorities.
  9. 1.5" Probably gonna cut like .5 inches off
  10. Is this only for the domination subtext hinting or is there another reason you'd like to appear taller? I'm 5'11" and I like my girls to be in the 5'2-5'8 range, but I find plenty of girls under 5'2 to be attractive...just really hard to hook up with. It's just to "increase my odds" when dating girls who might otherwise be taller than me (either naturally or with heels). If a girl's shorter than me, I won't bother with the lifts. They hurt my feet lol.
  11. You really gonna go for 200m all on 07 scape? :D By "200m all," he means, "200m all, minus 1 XP"
  12. I'm currently looking for a job in outside sales, ideally within the fields of energy, technology, or healthcare because those are growth industries. I graduated w/ a degree in psychology, but decided it'd be wiser to pursue a career in sales. Salespeople are always in demand and learning sales gives you much more control over your income than being, say, an accountant. If you work your way up through your company until you're earning $100,000/year, but lose your job, you're in trouble if you're unable to easily replicate that income within a decent amount of time. With sales, it's very skill-based so it'd be much easier to match your old income or become self-employed. Sales generalizes to many other areas of life as well (such as dating :D). You get out of it what you put into it and it's all learnable, regardless of how terrible you are at sales. So it seemed like the logical choice to me. I've been reading books by Brian Tracy on sales and watching a lot of Youtube videos by other various sales gurus to prepare myself. If anybody here's in sales or marketing and would like to share their knowledge/experience, that'd be awesome. :D
  13. I'd say slayer > barrows > DKS. Slayer sounds like a huge pain in the ass to train, considering that Sumona doesn't exist yet and cannons will be off-limits for a few months. My 07 account will probably be DIY just because I'm not interested in competing with the hardcore 2013 community lol
  14. This isn't necessarily a help and advice thread, but more of a general personal development thread where people share and discuss their goals or things they wish they could do, or hobbies/habits they wish they had, as well as sharing advice and resources to help accomplish such things. There's a lot of stuff I've learned on my own over the past few years that have made me feel really happy and fulfilled, and I'd like to share stuff like that w/ other people and see who else has similar experiences that they'd like to share. Do you have any goals? Do you wish you were in better shape? Do you wish you had more money? Is there any skill you wish you had? What are your skills/hobbies? What are you good at? Are there any skills/talents you wish you had? Share/discuss. :D
  15. It's more for the girls who would be bothered by dating a shorter man than it is for me :P I don't really have a problem dating a taller girl.
  16. Actually, the lack of a question mark, and spelling "spontaneity" as "spontinuity" was worse... Spontinuity's a word. It's someone who's clever and inventive without premeditation or external stimulus. wait, what? I wasn't being serious, I just combined spontaneity and ingenuity :P
  17. Actually, the lack of a question mark, and spelling "spontaneity" as "spontinuity" was worse... Spontinuity's a word. It's someone who's clever and inventive without premeditation or external stimulus.
  18. No there's nothing wrong with you. I too feel a slight twinge in my stomach whenever a girl confuses your and you're. I'M LOOKING AT YOU, RANDOX!!!
  19. Lol, a girl I just messaged replied back: Reminds me of that video I just posted. "I want a man who's hard-working and consistent... but fun and spontaneous!"
  20. 5'8 barefoot. So, taller than most girls :D
  21. I wonder how many warning points this thread is responsible for
  22. I haven't dated any taller women yet; but that's because when I do my searches, I filter out women who are the same height as me or taller. Now I can widen my search by about 2 inches.
  23. Nope! Only going to be wearing them when I go on dates with taller women, not all the time. So in other words, not very often.
  24. ...in other news, I bought a pair of shoe lifts for when I go out with girls who are taller than me, or slightly shorter but wear heels. They're awkward as [bleep], lol. Also:
