Parkour/Gymnastics
What did you do to work your way up to the straddle planche? Just the standard progression of: frogstand -> tuck planche -> straddle?

Parkour/Gymnastics
I recently switched to gymnastics training for strength instead of weightlifting. Currently working on a planche. Practiced the handstand for about a month last year w/ my friend but gave up on that one... afraid of getting injured from practicing it >_> Can/could you do front levers or planches or anything like that?

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Pretty much this. Lol I logged on for the first time in weeks not too long ago, had 50M in my bank. Decided to stake all of it for shits and giggles. Won another 50M. Logged off. Logged on a few days later, still bored despite having 100M, decided to stake 100M. Lost. Oh well. :P

Dungeoneering Potion Ingredients
I recall a few people had a special section in their RS notepad which had an organized list of the types of potions in DG and their skills and ingredients. Does anybody have a picture example of this that I could copy for my own notes?

Yeah the smalls are definitely better xp/hr. For me, at least. :D

13-Nov-2012 - Dungeoneering XP & Gravestones
Well judging by the posts on the RSOF, everybody's getting the same XP rates as before.
-
13-Nov-2012 - Dungeoneering XP & Gravestones
~140k/hr by Jagex's rates >_>
-
13-Nov-2012 - Dungeoneering XP & Gravestones
How do you figure? 4 mediums would only be 80k xp/hr at that rate >_>
-
13-Nov-2012 - Dungeoneering XP & Gravestones
XP rates seem a bit... low? Even if I did the floor in 10 minutes, that's still only 120k xp/hr at level 91, unless I'm doing something wrong >_>

They still exist in DG in the EoC, they give infinite air runes in the ammo slot. Wouldn't that mean it's obsolete once you can bind a celestial catalytic staff? If so, I'll destroy mine once I can bind the staff.

13-Nov-2012 - Dungeoneering XP & Gravestones
New bind system: you can use the same binds for more than one "loadout": Oddly, my CSB doesn't show up in my bind pool, despite being equipped and bound at the start of the dungeon.

Dungeoneering Improvements (Free Players & Members) There’s nothing like breaking new ground in the murky depths of Daemonheim with a full party of friends at your side. If you prefer to go it solo or with just one or two friends, though, some of Daemonheim’s sweetest swag could – until now – feel unobtainable. That wasn’t fair, and today’s update changes that. Clearing floors in Daemonheim now gives you far greater XP returns than before – at least double for a solo player – as well as a far higher yield of tokens. While a full group of five is still the fastest way to progress, no-one should feel that Daemonheim's bounty is out of reach. Start saving up for that chaotic rapier! In line with feedback received on the Evolution of Combat, we’ve also overhauled the item binding system. Everyone - regardless of Dungeoneering level - can now bind ten items. You won’t get to carry all ten at a time, of course; they’ll go into a remotely-held pool of bound items, from which you'll be able to select loadouts by speaking to the Smuggler. You can return to the Smuggler at any time to switch your bound items, and he'll remember up to three presets for ease of use. The number of your bound items that can be included in a loadout varies according to your Dungeoneering level: 1 Dungeoneering: 1 item 20 Dungeoneering: 2 items 50 Dungeoneering: 3 items 90 Dungoneering: 4 items 120 Dungeoneering: 5 items With this new system, you never need be without the right weapon for the job – doubly important when the Evolution of Combat lands in a week’s time. Switching between specialised melee, range and mage setups is as simple as a trip back the smuggler and will no longer take such a heavy toll on your inventory. Couple that with a slick new interface to manage the new system, and no foe need stand in your way. Gravestone Update (Free Players & Members) Ever died in Darkmeyer, watched as your gear faded before your grasping fingers, and found yourself in a city full of hungry vampyres, wearing just your undergarments and an expression of dismay? Brr… With the new gravestone interface, there's no longer any reason to be left out in the cold. Just click once on your gravestone to neatly display everything you dropped on death, allowing you to choose the items from your gravestone rather than clicking frantically through a long list. It's also possible to click the gravestone timer while nearby, to take you straight to the point of your demise - useful if there's more than one stone about. There are also 'take all' and 're-equip all' buttons, so you'll be up and back into the fray before you know it. Mod Liono & Mod Chris L In Other News We've made a selection of tweaks to the Crucible based upon player feedback: We've placed a Prayer altar in each of the Crucible's banks to help out between battles. The pairing mechanic has been reworked to give fairer opponents. Familiars have been disallowed. Information about the Supreme Champion has been made clearer. The Supreme Champion role will now deal more damage, and reward an extra trophy bone per killing blow. Gorajian mushrooms are now allowed into the arena. Other: The "Cure Poison" option on the lifepoints icon near the minimap now works with the Prayer book reward from Great Brain Robbery. The Falador south wall agility shortcut now awards a token amount of Agility XP. Ghostly robe bottoms have been added to the Dragon Keepsake box whitelist. Some audio has been added in the Kalphite Nursery and the Vulture area of the Desert. There is now a warning on exiting the Tears of Guthix cave about needing a light source. A ladder in the Lighthouse dungeon has been rotated to make it conform to the laws of physics. Gravestones will now be moved out of Botany Bay. Free players will now be moved out of the Chaos Temple upper level in the Wilderness.

BTS#26 - Solo Dungeoneering
Except it's members only. What about us poor non mems? :( I *think* you can use a normal catalytic staff for the same effect. Not true, sadly. I just checked :( BTW is the only reason for having a celestial surgebox for the unlimited air runes? No spells use blood runes and it doesn't hold death runes. Looks like you can only make plain catalytic staves (spinebeam or higher) or empowered catalytic staffs (gravecreeper). What's the reasoning behind this? I recall them mentioning it in an update somewhere, but don't know where to find it.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Well it's not so much as "rewriting" history, as it is "reinterpreting" it... if that makes sense >_> Kind of a subjective reality vs. objective reality sort of thing. For example, say you've had awkward experiences with girls in the past. You can either choose to allow those experiences to define who you are (ex. "Girls think I'm awkward"), or you can "re-frame" those experiences as positive things and learn from them (ex. "I'm glad I found out those girls weren't into me before I invested too much time/energy on them"; or "acting the way I did around those girls clearly didn't work. I'll be sure not to act that way again in the future"). Similarly, we have a tendency to view our surroundings in ways which are in-line with our beliefs. Whether we're consciously aware of it or not, we're generally seeking things in our environment which validate our existing beliefs. This can be both good and bad. In the case of guys who are socially inexperienced, they'll be predisposed to having awkward encounters w/ people just because their personal belief is "I'm an awkward person." My point is, basically these guys should change their belief from "People think I'm weird" to "People think I'm awesome." They're both subjective beliefs. Their environment is kind of a double-edged sword when it comes to fostering this change: on one hand, you can generally interpret most social interactions as either positive or negative since social psychology's a very abstract thing. By changing your thinking to a more positive one, you can start interpreting most social interactions in a better way until you've finally "become" someone that people think is awesome. But on the other hand, our environment can also provide objective proof that our thoughts may be wrong. So when we're shifting our beliefs away from "People think I'm weird," if someone flat-out tells you that you're a weirdo, then you'll have a hard time making it through that until your new "People think I'm awesome" belief has finally been internalized. In other words, your thoughts and your environment are kind of like Yin and Yang, and can form a vicious cycle if your beliefs and/or your environment are negative. You can break the cycle by changing your beliefs or changing your environment, but whichever one you choose will usually incite some sort of initial resistance to change from the opposite choice. Going back to what I originally said about your beliefs and your past, you can't always change your environment, however you can choose to change your beliefs at any time. That's basically what I was trying to say... in Gabe's case, he should start changing his beliefs now instead of waiting till college, even though college will probably make the transition a lot easier. Hope that makes sense >_> Kind of a complicated topic that's hard for me to articulate hah Reminds me of that quote, "You're not who you think you are. You're not who others think you are. You are who you think others think you are." haha, I quit updating it because combat updates occur so frequently, and each of them could be included into the guide in one way or another. But these days getting to Jad shouldn't really be a problem at all thanks to all the new high-level gear and healing options. These days, just killing Jad's the hard part. Back when I was a noob, I just watched videos of people fighting Jad over and over, and pretended that I was fighting Jad (by trying to click the prayer button in the video before the person in the video could) until I could do that flawlessly until the video was over. That way I didn't have to risk over an hour of time and lots of money in supplies just to possibly [bleep] up within seconds of the fight. If I were you, I'd do the entire caves in Gano + Polypore or storm of armadyl. Just make sure you've always got over 1000LP from brewing during the fight so you can't get KO'd in one hit, and take everything slowly, one step at a time when it comes to the healers.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
I wouldn't get your hopes up. Instead of a 1-5 "star scale" you're now getting a "numbered bar." As opposed to specific numbers like we currently have in the live game. But hopefully I'm wrong and the update makes the equipment screen actually informative

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Food for thought: some people argue that most people define themselves by their past thoughts/words/actions. Similarly, they argue that you don't really have any obligation to keep acting "coherently" with your past. You can change at any time. With that said, college is a good example of how that kind of thinking transforms people. But you don't need to go to college to achieve that kind of transformation.

What did you do today?
I've started tracking my daily pushups. But since I do them at random points during the day, I'm only recording my "high score" for each day. November 09, 2012: 5 pushups, with 22.3 lbs on my back November 10, 2012: 2 pushups, with 29.7 lbs on my back November 11, 2012: 5 pushups, with 32.3 lbs on my back November 12, 2012: 5 pushups, with 35.7 lbs on my back I increase the weight by ~3 lbs once I can do 5 pushups w/ the previous weight

I thought the same thing... especially when he ironically said, "now you don't have to worry when you're in a room full of aggressive monsters!" but overlooked that part.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
That'd be funny if the massive EoC update was removal of the adrenaline system :D But realistically, it'll probably just be the nerfing of the drop-x.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Just saw Skyfall. Loved it as much as Casino Royale. 9/10. Much better than that shitty Quantum of Solace.
