  1. Hope my team wins another championship... Go KU!
  2. Woah, you make me want to go to tds again :(. Do you kill just one spawn mostly? I've been following the lure methods from the updated TD guide: http://forum.tip.it/topic/251892-tormented-demons/ Basically you trap the northeast one, then alternate killing the north and northwest ones. You never have to wait for respawns with his method, I like it a lot. When other people come visit, they'll kill the northeast one which you trap and that usually makes things a little more inconvenient, especially if they don't know how to lure. this time around there were two others so I just killed the northern middle one, waiting for respawns.
  3. less than 30 minutes into trip... 3 claw drops within 48 hours... yeah, I'm pretty much amazing.
  4. I use a laptop for when I clean herbs... it's very easy and relaxing. Basically I've got a wireless mouse I use since I can't stand the touch pad. I disable the laptop touch pad but keep the laptop mouse buttons enabled. When I clean herbs, I move w/ the external mouse and click with the laptop buttons. When you click with the laptop buttons, you never drag herbs and you can clean about 8.5k herbs per hour. I'm getting about 117k herb xp/hour and 2M profit doing dwarf weeds right now

  6. Clean herbs. Make money. :wall: I made about 5M profit by cleaning herbs from 65-73 herblore. You can clean about 8.5k herbs/hour
  7. So not long after my previous post, I got a PM from dragonlord asking if I wanted to go to TDs... we went for a little bit but we were both tired so we left. I couldn't fall asleep tonight so I got back on about an hour later and revisited TDs. I was on my last kill, thinking about the trip w/ Warrior earlier tonight and how we got claws on our last kill. Sure enough, I see a familiar pair of red things sitting atop the ashes of my final kill: Two claws in one night, boo yah :D +48.5M! note: after grabbing the claws I realized I forgot to take a screenshot so I re-dropped them on the ground and took a pic :P
  8. Earlier today, 100M Total XP: Later today: Overall, pretty successful day :D
  9. Soul Wars Cape Armadyl top > Karil Top > Black Dhide Armadyl legs > Karil bottom > Black chaps (you don't need the defence or pray boost in legs) and broad or runite bolts... diamond's too expensive and ruby drains your hp
  10. Well thats part of my question =P But I have been retired for 5 months so I dont know if the equipment has changed/any updates. I dont even know what to use. Broad bolts until jad but idk what at jad...Same for armor/potions. Well it was easy 5 months ago, now it's only easier... you could probably make it there w/ proselyte and a yew shortbow. Just pick whatever you feel most comfortable with.
  11. Nobody seems to understand that your stats and equipment only matter for every wave up UNTIL Jad-- from that point on all that matters if you can prayer-switch or not. If you've mastered prayer-switching then equipment and stats aren't even an issue. Similarly, people make it to Jad every attempt yet still feel the need to raise their stats or change their equipment, rather than learning how to switch prayers. A person with your stats shouldn't have any issues whatsoever in reaching Jad-- just take the time to master prayer switching before risking 90 minutes of your time to get to him. Maybe people would rather blame their stats/equipment rather than their lack of personal skill, and that's why people never stop asking the same questions around here. Hmm.
  12. I was 65 herblore a couple days ago... I got to 72 herblore in a few hours and made about 7M profit in the process. You don't have to make pots to get XP. Try cleaning herbs...
  13. Well the problem with robes is they only save you one death or blood rune if the set effect takes place. If you have the SoL too, you have a 50% chance of saving 4 deaths, 2 bloods, and 6 waters, as well as the normal chances of saving 1 blood or 1 death from the robes. If you're not gonna use both, it's better to use the SoL since it saves you every rune instead of just one. The robes on their own aren't worth the time spent recharging them.
  14. Been forever since I've been to the DKs... just wondering what the best spell to kill Rex with would be, along with the best inventory/equipment. I sold my SGS a while ago, but I've got 96 summoning so I could use a yak and/or a unicorn. I was planning on using battle robes and a staff of light... didn't know if I should try out fire surge or use a godspell instead of battle robes and SoL or use slayer dart, or what. Suggestions?
  15. I loved it, but if RuneScape was my life, I'd probably hate it :)
  16. if you insist on making gold ammies, you should superheat the gold bars then use string ammy later for 99 magic
  17. I believe so... but your character runs north/south/east/west before running diagonally, whereas NPCs run diagonally first. So... it's hard to manipulate diagonal running
  18. Interesting training method. How long would you say it would take to get a reasonable amount of Swordfish gloves and Morphic tools (clay harpoons)? Idk I play SC all the time cuz I think it's fun, and I played a ton of FoG over the summer so I've got plenty of tokens to spare. The amount of time spent in FoG compared to the time spent fishing and playing in Clayland is neglible though, since it takes a long time to use up the gloves (1000 swordfish per pair). The clay tools don't last very long though-- only about 31.5k XP per harpoon, so you use up like 4 tools per hour. Like I said, it's really not that efficient of a method, but I enjoy it a lot because it adds variety to training and I enjoy playing in Clayland and FoG
  19. If you just want XP, you can get about 120k fishing xp/hour catching swordfish with swordfish gloves + clay harpoon. It's probably less efficient in the long-run but I have more fun playing in Clayland and then FoG and then fishing rather than fishing the whole time
  20. I wouldn't recommend using the battle robes w/o the staff of light, and I wouldn't recommend using the staff of light w/o battle robes. People only use battle robes there when they've got a SoL because you save a massive 50% of your runes. You're really not getting the most bang for your buck (or your time either) if you aren't using those two together. The optimum setup is: Battle robe set Staff of light Ring of life God stole Soul wars cape Boots of lightness (not worth risking infinity boots for a magic boost which won't help you) Barrows gloves (don't need penance gloves cuz of energy update) Zammy book
  21. I've done somewhere around 7 trips, 6 using war tortoise and sharks and this one using unicorn. No idea how many kills, I'd guess 40-50ish. Gear: Full Void, fury, soul wars cape, dragon boots, archer ring, Rune crossbow/SGS/Darklight, broad bolts. If you can, use fire cape, ranger boots, and runite bolts instead
  22. I remember after upgrading my titan to a unicorn for the first time, I overestimated the healing capabilities of the unicorn and died pretty quickly. Though-- if you've got a unicorn and an SGS or enhanced excalibur healing should never be an issue there.
  23. Any specific herbs? just buy a grimy herb at min., see how much it cost you, clean it, sell it for min, see what the price difference is. right now you can buy ranarrs for min price instantly and then sell back clean for min and profit
  24. clean herbs... it's usually ~100k xp/hour and you'll make a decent profit too.
