muggi i have a question about this... howmuch money do you exactly have to take ? (as i want to see howmuch i actually make) I don't remember, I usually just withdraw all of my money. The death runes are what require the most money though. Everything else is pretty cheap

I'm well aware, but if self-improvement is your goal, then seduction only complicates things. Also, style only left the community because he met a girl he wanted to keep. He wouldn't have gotten her without all his experience, and he became a pua again after they broke up until he found the next girl he wanted to stay with. and THAT is the reason why I approve of all this PUA behavior and talk. Because its a pathway to happiness. Sure it can be abused, but Style found the true and good application of the talent. There's really only a few important things that are universally beneficial from seduction, and that is basically learning what women generally want, and what general qualities will make you more successful with women. Everything else like gimmicks, lines, rules, etc. are unnecessary. Style got his girlfriend because he knew generally what to do and what not to do - when he tried doing routines and negging and all that BS, he failed. As soon as he abandoned that stuff, he got her. Like I said, seduction's only useful for meeting girls and getting them into bed. If you try and form/maintain a relationship via seduction, you're screwed. But again it's difficult to generalize these things - everybody has different needs and desires. Most people don't even know what they want. A lot of people just wanna be cool and fit in (such as by showing off their pickup skills or apparent knowledge of women). When a guy comes on here and asks something like, "There's a girl I like - how do I get her to like me?" chances are he'd rather date her than just [bleep] her. In which case, I don't really see how seductionists help him by telling him to do things which he wouldn't normally do. After a while the girl will realize he's not who she thinks he is. Everybody's different - Mystery and Style are completely different people with different needs and desires. Until the self-proclaimed "gurus" and the followers are both aware of what their needs and desires are, I really don't see any practical applications for seduction here.

Wow I haven't visited this topic in ages. . . I see that everybody is aware of "seduction" now :rolleyes: I'm sort of disappointed, to be honest. Because the title of this (stickied) topic is "I want a girlfriend [. . .]" I really don't advocate the use of seduction tactics in pursuit of a girlfriend. To me, the only time one should be using seduction is if they want a friend with benefits (also known as an "FB" to the seduction-junkies) or a one night stand (ONS). For those of you who actually want a girlfriend or female companion, then DO NOT USE SEDUCTION - BE YOURSELF! Why do I say this? It's pretty simple. . . In order to be a successful seductionist, you basically have to have all of the personality traits and desires of one. Think of your personality as a toolbox, and seduction teachings as a manual. I beg to differ, this video shows that with high enough prayer (along with a nice amount of coinage in the bank ;) ) you can kill Jad using the new prayers in a rather efficient manner. I don't think players going for their first fire cape are gonna be charging Jad guns blazing w/ maxed stats and an unlimited supply of coins :P

Truly mastering minigames (knowing and being able to use all tactics, etc.) such as castle wars, barbarian assault, fist of guthix and duel tournaments definitely can't be done in 30 minutes. PC, etc. is different of course. Yes but similarly, you don't need to collect every reward from those minigames to master them... you'll usually master them loooooong before that

Only if you can persuade her not to use her new attacks too. Yeah I didn't forget about that update they made to her not long after her release I'm pretty sure it was always solo'able, as long as people actually relied on tactics instead of luck (i.e. dancing w/ her and knowing when to hide or attack)

That's just luck-based and tedious :P Also, to the OP - change the Jad one from flowers to wind strike. It's easy to kill Jad w/ a fun weapon, but w/ wind strike your max hit is 2 and your accuracy is even worse than a fun weapon. The first two on the OP's list are great but then the others are just tedious. For example, anybody can figure out a RS minigame after playing for less than 30 minutes... they don't need to earn every reward from them in order to master them, that's just a silly waste of time. Unless they actually enjoy participating in a tedious challenge, I don't think anybody in their right mind would actually attempt one and then go on to call it an achievement. Most people actually get criticized for wasting their time on things like that lol. The ones like the first two you posted are fun challenges to attempt and share your experiences with though (that is, as long as it remains a decent challenge that people will appreciate).

I made a topic like this a couple of years ago... You have to remember that the things on the list have to actually be challenging and not just tedious/long/boring. Off the top of my head, a few things I remember from mine were Kill all GWD bosses in one trip Beat the fight caves w/o prayer restoration Kill Jad w/ wind strike Kill KBD w/o dragonfire protection Kill a clan of revenants solo Get a kill count of 100+ in CW Earn over 5k tokkul from one round at the Fight Pits Solo the KQ as if she was just released - meaning, the date is September 7, 2004 and you can't use any items or skills which were introduced into the game after that date (no summoning, no barrows equipment, no godswords, no saradomin brews, no abyssal whips or dragon scimitars, etc). Try the KBD on its release date if you can't kill the KQ.

Just wondering if they'll be "crashing" in price anytime soon, or if they'll remain within the 4-5k price range. I heard some people claiming they'll "crash" down to as low as 2k for various reasons but I doubt that due to our current inflated economy and high demand for dragon bones now. I mainly ask cuz I know nothing about economics and was curious to hear your responses. . .

It's not too hard to get high defense w/ high magic att power. My usual setup is... Verac helm Verac brassard or Ahrim top Ahrim skirt Infinity boots Seers ring Blessed spirit shield or mage's book Master wand Fury God cape Barrows gloves I remember a time in the fight pits where there were over a dozen people melee'ing me and I was wearing a setup like that, plus melee pray and blood/shadow barrage... I kept healing to full health while they all slowly died lol I imagine w/ that new soul split prayer it'd be nearly impossible to take down a blood barrager Kinda lame that melee'rs can wear d'hides w/o any penalty towards their melee accuracy. but it's ok since none of them bring range w/ them... it's easier to call someone a farcaster than it is to come prepared lol

How do you know about that :o I got better def by my def prayer, rather than magic prayer. Your magic defense is determined ONLY by your magic level and magic defence (from equipment). The KB claims your defence lvl influences it too, but that's not true at all... Back before the trade updates and people staked for cash, I was 99 def 99 mage vs lots of pure stakers (99 mage, 1 def). The fights against them were always 50/50. Similarly, I'd do mage vs melee against people w/ maxed out melee stats (including def) but they'd only have like 85 magic. For people like that, I'd kill them with under four spells since their magic level was incredibly low compared to mine and therefore they basically had no defence

When I did it in under an hour, I used range void and karil's xbow w/ eagle eye on whenever I was attacking a monster stronger than a 45. Also, if a monster was within firing distance of me, I'd shoot while I lured it, making sure I didn't miss out on any "turns." I brought 2 range pots and calculated how long I should wait to drink a dose such that I'd use up all 8 doses within the 60 minute time period, so that way my range was always at its highest. I think I finished it in like 53 minutes or something... you can also bring a dark bow and dragon arrows (p++) for 360s and Jad. IDK if you'll be able to do it w/o 99 range, though. I remember the first people to do it wore armadyl instead of void and brought excessive power like AGS and onyx bolts (e) with them. They were maxed out and it took them longer to complete it than I did, and I was ranging only. So basically melee is a lot slower.

When I did string-ammy, it was less than 5gp per XP and 130k XP/hour, so it was pretty much amazing. I remember getting over 1M magic XP in a day while I did 10 hours worth of homework lol. So if it's still cheap to do, then by all means do it, considering you're like the only person w/ a legit excuse for not barraging rock lobs I did plain gold ammies and unstrung holy symbols btw

Bork gives a massive amount of summoning XP daily - when I was semi-retired I only had time to get on for Bork and penguins, since summoning was my only goal... I got about 25-30k xp/week from penguins, then an extra 40k xp per week from Bork's charms. I do Zaff daily too and buy air orbs then make air battlestaffs and sell them... I still make a small profit, but more importantly it's about 9k crafting xp per day, which adds up quickly as well. Miscellania is really good too with these outrageous herb and seed prices. As far as merchanting goes, I usually just teleport to shilo via karamja gloves and buy empty/waterfilled vials from the general store, then feathers from the fishing store, then unfinished broad bolts from the slayer master and sell them all on the GE. I went to the lobs for the first time in a while about a week ago, using mage pots and a master wand. I got the same average charms per hour as before magic started getting damage boosters... surprising, so I guess I'll go back to using my trusty water staff to save money

I'm basically saying that i don't see the point of having a high combat level req when your slayer level is high enough. slayer isn't exactly easy to train, but by giving the masters high combat requirements jagex is favoring MELEE BASED characters (you can't deny it). Like it or not, it is very clear that a 110 combat requirement is hard to attain even with maxed tanking stats (99 def/range/hp/pray). its already hard enough for rangers to compete with warriors since warriors can reap the full benefits of the black mask, however i'm not complaining about that. I'm not sure what you assumed about my logic. i never said anything about new skills being [cabbage], i enjoy training skills, and i've already trained slayer enough to be in the top 130k in the world, which at 96 combat is respectable, to say the least. and to metoo: I only spend 5 minutes a week on runescape? learn to read please. what the hell are you talking about anyway? if you looked a few pixels below my post you probably would have seen that i'm a ranged tank. and at 99 def/hp/range/75 pray range tanks are only level 106-7 without summoning. somehow you think getting a character to these levels must be "easy". and fyi- i do train summoning, at first it was only to get a bss but not i do use it and am collecting charms for it. sorry i don't have all my combat skills at 99 but i'm sure you enjoy a great social life! and to be honest, i hate arguing with Tif'ers because the majority of them are much higher leveled than me and some tend to think that the world revolves around them (nobody forced you to respond to my post, me_hate_libs). So I won't be replying to your response out of respect for this forum, as i've clearly stated my purpose for posting. edit: oh wait, i'm higher slayer than you paw, and i'm about 8 cb levels below you (further proving my point), so basically your post was invalid and i wish i knew that before i took the time to respond to it.
