  1. It's a pretty good indicator... pures kill often and die often as well
  2. How does it defeat the purpose? User safeguards himself from any "AFK" accusations, gain effortless magic xp, all the while spending time doing other things. There's plenty of things to do on the computer/at your desk. The point of the splash method is so you can leave it up for 8 hours without being anywhere near the computer. If you're gonna be at the computer, there's TONS of much more efficient ways of training which require barely any effort (like my example).
  3. I have a feeling superglass make is gonna become useless pretty soon now that everybody knows about it. Kinda like what happened to string ammy.
  4. If you're gonna train this way while AT the computer it sort of defeats the purpose. Back when string ammy was a good way to train, I got 1M mage XP in a day while doing all my homework at my computer desk. All I had to do was look up at the screen and click the spell button about once a minute.
  5. I say you are a murderer, please, prove otherwise. The point of that statement: Jagex ought to have the power of a god if they were to enforce the rule. Jagex rules are not a law. By "illegal," I meant against the rules. I assumed you guys could infer that on your own.
  6. The thing is, it's clearly stated that AFK'ing is against the rules. Thus, this form of training shouldn't even be considered by anyone who values their account and furthermore it shouldn't be used in an argument to compare to other methods because it's illegal.
  7. except it's against the rules, and if they play by the rules by sitting at the computer for oh so many hours each week, then that renders the method completely obsolete and inefficient.
  8. use superglass make and spend profits on barraging rock lobsters or plank make
  9. I'd rather not waste 20 hours grinding away at a boring minigame just for an extra +4 to some of my stats
  10. they all have the same str bonus, but daggers have shortbow rapid speed... the better the weapon, the higher its att bonus... which is pretty useless in SC
  11. broad bolts are 200k xp/hour and 100k profit per hour there's no "make x" option either, so you can do it as fast as you can... or multi-task and do it while training agility or something.

I remember back when Karma was 1 def, all the other 1 def pures that would see me training would insult me completely unprovoked. I was even walking through Edgeville and some kid made fun of me for being 57 combat. I quickly equipped my fire cape... that shut him up lol
  14. But its 1m xp a week if you keep it running all 7 days without stopping. that's still over 3 months to get 99. and it's also costing them 5M per week, or 65M to 99. they're only screwing themselves lol [/hide] I'm confused. First you state that it's 2gp/mage xp. Then you say it's 65M to 99? 13M x 2 = 26M for 99. That's barely more expensive than most alching. It's much cheaper than the magic methods I use on this account. Ah my bad, you're correct. I was thinking it was 5gp/xp the second time I posted

  16. That's about right. I'm talking about melee XP, not total XP. if you used an addy minotaur you'd be getting nearly 90k def xp/hour which is about what you should be getting w/ your stats
  17. this doesn't really need to be fixed/nerfed... they're kinda hurting themselves by spending 2gp per magic xp and getting 6k xp/hour... it's like the most inefficient training method ever lol
  18. cannon in well... proselyte, mage pray, nosepeg, salve (e) the smoke will keep you at 1hp but will never kill you... mage pray and nosepeg won't let the specters hurt you either
  19. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=slaye ... okingKills
  20. you don't need prayer when you're a mage The demons use all 3 styles of combat. I'm well aware. that's why you use safespots where you can reach them but they can't reach you - even if their current style is range/mage
  21. you don't need prayer when you're a mage mage's only good in teams though

  24. superglass make for money, spend profits on barraging rock lobsters
