Experience per Hour
With your stats? With maxed stats? The XP rates for most of those activities depend on your stats You can determine most of this on your own just by browsing RS Wiki or the AoW

Stealing Creation - Do you earn your own clay?
It's a team game, so if I'm the first to grab a c4 with my bare hands and a dozen other people are asking for some, I'll give it to each of them. If your whole team has optimal gear for their stats, then chances are your team will win and you'll get the 10% bonus. Thus, you're helping yourself in the long run by helping your teammates. Also, I gave up on the "fast sc" worlds - mostly because I only get like 24 points per game max with them and they're boring. I find normal games a much better source of points since you can PK piles and piles of runes and c5 gear off of noobs :D I remember one time the game was almost over and I killed some guy and he dropped all of his c5 gear, including thousands of c4 and c5 arrows... it totaled about 80k in loot just from killing him haha

My Greatest Achievement
Fire cape on muggi at 90 combat... that might or might not have been the lowest combat back at the time... it was only a couple of months after caves came out. I just remember all of my friends were really impressed and I was one of the few people walking around w/ the cape About half a year later, a guy named Fancy Fancy got it at 66 combat. I met him in game and he taught me how to lure... we became pretty good friends after that. Got fire cape on karma at 57 combat about a week after meeting him, setting the world record :D I had a lot of people pm'ing me, offering me up to 10M to do fire capes for them... declined all of them since they were sketchy. Met someone named u a e x pker... taught him how to do caves. he holds the current record at like 42 combat I think. skill-wise, it'd probably be getting 99 mage, range, def, and hp on muggi... and then 99 range, mage, and hp on karma. I've got a quest cape on both accounts too, though I've always loved doing quests so for some reason I've never really thought much of the cape since time's always flown by while questing. I think my original caves guide was my magnum opus, though - it seemed to help so many people and be so obscure at the time haha edit: oh, and scanning all of the fight caves monsters before Jard could on the day the monster examine spell came out :P

95 - 99 RuneCrafting in 8 Days =)
You tried to make sense but failed miserably. While there is a set amount of hours it takes to get 95-99 runecrafting, doing it in 8 days and 8 months is totally different. 12 hours a day on the computer is different than <1 hour a day on the computer. That's what no lifing is... spending the entire day on the computer and not doing anything in the real world. If you play 1 hour a day, you actually have time for work...for friends...for everything that is involved in actual life. Not to mention that since he played that many hours in 8 days, he will continue to play alot while that one person you speak of that does it in 100 days will continue to play <1 hour a day. Not really... it's the same philosophy as when you quit RS. When you're 80 years old, you still spent thousands of hours of your life on the game and the way you spread out the hours really doesn't matter in hindsight. But I guess if playing on the computer all day for a short period of time makes you feel uncomfortable, then by all means go outside lol

End Game Content?
Wow, that's a real solution, isn't it? Take existing content and increase the requirements. Totally not a cop-out, right? Because it has such a huge impact on high-level players. Honestly, that's a stupid idea. It's the exact same content. High levels can already use it. Raising the requirements does nothing to create high-level content. Imagine if you for some reason raised the requirement for godswords to 99 attack. People with under 99 attack would be royally pissed off, and people with 99 attack won't see any change at all. You get absolutely no benefit except to say that you now have high-level content, which is really just fake difficulty. (And you could do the same thing by making up a new item and not piss off the people with 75 attack.) It's like a video game that claims to have "replay value" because you can go back and fight the bosses again in "Time Attack" mode to unlock the ability to change the color of your character's hair. And there are ten different Time Attack Mode variations that unlock ten other new hairstyles. And once you unlock all the hairstyles you get a trophy. And once you unlock all the trophies you get the ability to restart the game at the same difficulty, but in "Sombrero Mode," with all the enemies wearing sombreros. That's not replay value. That's fake longevity. It's the same thing as if the player just played through the original story mode a dozen times. (Although the sombrero mode sounds cool.) lol kind of reminds me of ratchet and clank... except I love replaying those games over and over and over haha

End Game Content?
my friend has a lot of good ideas for what a GOOD mmorpg would be like... since it's impossible to overhaul RS, I think it'd be possible to implement the idea in the form of a dungeon or something. . . he never really described it in much detail, so I'll just pull a random idea out of my [wagon]: you start out in a dungeon... you're not allowed to bring any items into the dungeon. surrounding you is low level monsters and crude resources... maybe a bronze pickaxe, some copper/tin rocks, a furnace, and an anvil. basically instead of focusing the dungeon on your stats, it focuses on your equipment. the dungeon would be sort of like a maze... each "room" in the dungeon would have an end-goal. like, for the first room you'd have to smith some [cabbage]ty bronze armor to kill a lvl 70 "boss" monster. the boss monster would drop iron bars or something. the next room would be blocked by iron ores or oak trees or something... you'd need an iron pick/hatchet to remove the obstacles to proceed so basically each room would get more and more dangerous with higher leveled equipment required. past a certain point, monsters could start dropping very powerful gear. some gear could be tradable, some could be untradable. some could only be used within the dungeon, some could be used anywhere, etc. basically the dungeon would put a slight emphasis on self-sufficiency and personal skill an example of some of the final dungeon rooms could include... -a "super" boss that'd need a team to kill, like the corp beast -a "team" of strong bosses like the dagannoth kings -an "army" of bosses... wave after wave of powerful monsters kind of like the fight caves -a boss that requires personal skill to defeat... like dodging its attacks while prayer switching and changing weapons... kind of like a combination of corp, TDs, and Jad

5 biggest problems in Runescape today.
1. No forms of unbalanced trading 2. The economy 3. PvP 4. PvM making skilling obsolete 5. Graphical updates [/hide] I would point out that ranged is very important for plenty of boss monsters, the most notable of which is obviously Kree'arra, but there's also Tormented Demons, Zilyana, TzTok-Jad, etc. But magic is still garbage in PvM. as your magic lvl counts as 70% of your magic resistance i would strongly have to disagree with that statement. It is however true that there is no boss, except rex, against which magic works efficiently. And i agree they should come up with some alternatives... Magic lvl is 100% of your mage resistance ;)

End Game Content?
Smithing needs to be updated so you can actually smith useful stuff at 99 smithing. I find it kind of ridiculous how you need 99 smithing to create armor that only requires 40 def to wear

Andylax38's 9 Lob Bursting/Barraging Guide
I don't agree. During all of my trips, I saw 0s and splashes a fair amount of times. Now, granting I am only 88 magic, and therefore I miss more often than people with a high magic, but a miss is a miss. And as long as there are a noticeable amount of misses, any magic bonus would be helpful. You really don't need any more than 75 mage att. Just look at all the pictures in this thread for proof. I have about 70 mage att in all of my runs and I get the same amount of charms per 1k barrages as the guys in this topic who max out their mage att. You wouldn't max out your mage att for killing barrows brothers, would you? Also, the game mechanics work faster than the eye can see. While it may look like you just got hit by four 10s simultaneously, the game knows better and will teleport you out if the third 10 sends you to the danger zone

Diy'er
VERY impressive - you should post this in the "rate this" forum... I tried making an account like that but got bored after a while, and frustrated after realizing how difficult some items can be to get... like getting an iron bar for The Knights Sword when you don't have 15 mining or smithing

99 #15
get 99 smithing next :D addy plates w/ clay hammers are like 450k xp/hour and 3gp per xp

Whats with this? (afk'ing on spiders)
kinda funny how you can become a "master of magic" w/o ever landing a successful spell on someone/something lol i wouldn't be surprised if jagex ends up making combat spells omit the base magic xp unless you don't splash

So, you think you can skill?
For fishing, do barbarian fishing For construction, I'd recommend using stealing creation hammers For thieving, blackjack menaphite thugs till 91 (or 99... they're up to about 280k xp/hour)

95 - 99 RuneCrafting in 8 Days =)
10/10 Food for thought: There really is no such thing as "no lifing" a skill in RS. He went from 95-99 rc in 8 days... I haven't RC'd in ages, so I don't remember the XP rates so I'll just say he spent 100 hours on the computer in the past 8 days. That makes him a no-lifer apparently. Now let's say he did the same thing except got 95-99 RC in 8 months. That's still 100 hours spent on the computer. That's still the same amount of time doing the same activity, only in a different time increment. No matter how quickly you get your level, it's all the same amount of hours in the end. It's like comparing a pound of feathers to a pound of bricks. Though I guess getting something over with quickly rather than dragging it out for months is frowned upon here now.

10th August 2009 - Fur 'n' Seek (and Patch Notes)
At least the imbued rings are actually better than anything else you could be wearing, unlike the torso, which is pretty much pure phailage compared to Bandos. Good point though I still hate the minigame too much to get the rewards :P

10th August 2009 - Fur 'n' Seek (and Patch Notes)
I tried playing MA today, thinking it'd be crowded enough for that "fast ma" thing to work. After two games I was quickly reminded of how [cabbage]ty that minigame is lol I'd rather not waste 20-30 hours just for a minor boost to my equipment... it's like the fighter torso - so much input for so little output Though at least if I were to lose any rings, I could easily get them back, unlike the torso. (I haven't used my torso since 45 def btw >_>)

Divine & Elysian Spirit shields
A friend of mine has a divine... he PKs with that and the phoenix necklace. Unsurprisingly, he hasn't lost a fight in a months lol

Looking at Castle Wars as a skill
I loved CW until themed worlds were released and, like every other minigame, it died in everybody's home world unless their home world was the themed world :| Lvl 80 or so
