If you took a sample size of, say, 10,000 kills I'm sure you'd have more profit from TDs than Bandos. If you were to receive a massive dry streak from Bandos, wouldn't you agree that it'd be more logical to kill TDs?

One day of bandos solo :) Very impressive... though, not to rain on your parade or anything, but I don't see how people can prefer solo bandos over TDs... claw drops are 1 in 250 or so, hilts are 1 in 600 :s not to mention the overall convenience of TDs

well spring break's over so I haven't really been on at all lately. wanted to try trio'ing TDs-- each person maxing out their attack style. fire surge was the most lethal of the three. I suppose the optimum weapons are whip, runite bolts, and fire surge for trio'ing. even when using the two-demon lure spot, we often had to wait for the demons to respawn since we were killing them so fast haha. anyways, as you guys may have suspected, it wouldn't have been a trip to TDs without a claw drop: been a long time since I've had a trip w/o any claw drops :) 110M from TDs in these past couple of weeks lol edit: wow, didn't realize battle robes set was only about 5 less mage att than ahrims... I could kick myself for not wearing those to TDs lol :wall:

I was making 250-400gp profit per cleaned dwarf weed and lantadyme about two weeks ago. Keep in mind, just because the GE won't buy/sell your herbs instantly doesn't mean that they won't be sold... it just takes patience.

I wouldn't be surprised if we've got a hidden "luck" factor predetermined when we create our characters... I remember when I first started visiting TDs, I got like 3 shards within the first 100 kills, then 2 claws within the next 50 kills after that... then about 2 more claws through the course of about 300-500 kills... and then the 4 more claws in 2 days (less than 100 kills). Also had two armadyl hilts in one trip before... Karma's always been luckier than muggi was it seems.

Same goes for smithing :thumbup:

Bit late to the thread but this basically. If you are not happy with the service, don''t pay? Nobody is forcing you really. I can see where the money is going to int multiple updates, it is just narrow minded imo if you cannot see them. So if you have been a part of something for a long time, and the service declines, you should just walk away and drop your hobby. ...yeah, pretty much since apparently the game is unbearable w/o a high-level update.

Decided to see if duel tournaments are still dead... THEY AREN'T! :D 400k wager so I entered... I hated the rules, though-- usually don't enter tournies w/ everything enabled. I was pretty fortunate, though... there were 3 rounds and I didn't have to fight till the final round, so my final opponent was already pretty worn out lol. It's been so long, I'd forgotten how to gear up... ah well time to start making some money here :) edit: damn, saved wrong pic... the spoils were 1.6M (1.2M Profit) :)

You know, you're forgetting to use a combat familiar there, which is the main reason why it's better than other spots like Armored Zombies lol

Yeah, the reward is the great part of the update. But so far I've ran into the same situation twice where no one can find an active obelisk for an hour or more. Wait in a CC while you train a skill or something-- it's a D&D, not a mini-game (err "activity").

I don't see why people don't just cancel their subscription and return when they find an update appealing, since obviously complaining about the lack of "high-level" updates isn't going to improve things.

I think you're forgetting to take into account the major flaws of GWD... claw drop rates are about 1 in 250, hilts are about 1 in 600 you can only get a handful of GWD boss kills solo per trip, and you have to get 40 kc before you can do that at GWD there's cutthroat competition and easy to be crashed. if you die solo, you can't get your stuff back at TDs it takes 5 minutes to get to them, there's hardly any competition, and there's no waiting between spawns. plus you don't use many supplies. Hilts are that rare? where are you getting this from? Worst I've heard of is approx 1/350 Bandos KC takes <5 minutes, and with proper gear you can get ~20 kills a trip Arma KC is fast if you use steel or iron titan. The main reason I don't like to do TD's is that they're boring in my opinion. I got exactly 8,100. It depends on attention. While talking I get like 7k. I tried with chat off and everything, and I got 10.3k (without my super cool mouse lol) I get 8.5k... w/o mousekeys. Laptop mouse buttons + external mouse moving = no dragging and fast cleaning :D
