  1. Those are the best XP in the game, assuming you use dharoks. However they're only good if you've got like 90+ prayer. I tried there at 70 prayer and got like 40k XP in 15 minutes, but also used up a full inventory of prayer potions in that time haha.
  2. Running isn't dishonorable, but teleporting is. There is (was?) a whole list of seemingly-contradictory honorable and dishonorable PK'ing tactics. If someone runs away and survives, that's your fault for failing to kill him. Yes, you risked a bunch of gear, but in that situation it seems you risked a bunch of useless gear. Should've brought ice barrages too or something, or at least vengeance. I think in this context, you have "wisdom" confused with common sense. Similarly, if you were wiser you'd probably have killed him :P Also these topics are generally pointless to post on Tip.It cuz there are hardly any legit PK'ers around here.
  3. Want a easy way out? Fletching Cooking and thieving. Quest cape is by no means easy, it takes a lot of varied skills raised into their mid 60's, with some into the 70's with high combat stats and puzle solving skills (provided you didn't read a guide, if so your a lazy, lazy guy). On top of that, the exp summed up is higher than 13m, the required to a 99 skill. It migh be more amusing to get, but it certainly isn't the easiest. Summing up, Quest haters are nub :( That's definitely not true, considering less than half the minimum skill requirements for a quest cape are lvl 65+. You don't even get 1M in a skill till lvl 73. To get a quest cape you probably need about 6M experience at the most. Either way, quest cape is definitely harder to get than most skill capes because besides the ~6M XP req, you have to do about 200+ (300+ ?) hours of questing. Fortunately it's very diverse compared to the monotony of obtaining most other skill capes so the time flies by
  4. Probably a pun, since RS is 50% puns and 50% monty python references. this is how they advertised construction too pretty much won't be surprised if it's something big. won't be surprised if it's nothing special either, hah
  5. That was 4 or 5 hours ago? Got him back a few hours after I lost my baby. It has a very creepy story though.. I kill Jad and I get teleported out of the caves, with a huge smile on my face I see the cape shining on the ground under my feet, I start yelling 'I got him back! Yeaaaah' when I see a person appearing saying 'Aha you're required Xanotex'. It's the mime event, I was teleported away with my cape still there, it gave my a double heartattack. I rushed through the emotes, being scared irl because he'd dissapear, I finish it, I get back and pick up my cape quickly and right as I pick it up, the tokkul dissapears so if I was one second late.. On the pic you can see I just picked it up with the reward from mime under my feet and no tokkul, lucky me! That's why you drop your vials while in the caves :P
  6. they aren't that much faster anyways... if faster at all. I remember the first people to get their 2nd capes in under 60 minutes were rich and used onyx bolts (e)... but they'd finish with like 1-2 minutes to spare and I finished with 5 minutes to spare Was talking with Kingduffy1 and he did it in like 46 minutes using void and dragon darts with prayer on the entire time. What a rich nub... rune knives must be the fastest method then, since they've got even better stats than the darts (extremely expensive, though)
  7. It's really only good against special attacks which place multiple hits on you at once. I was fighting a guy who used a dds spec on me earlier... he hit a 17 on me. Not a 17-0, just a plain 17 haha. Though, it's still very easy to get KO'd by normal whip/GS hits since they're "normal" Ooo I guess it doesn't show the 2nd hit. Do you know if it counts the damage or is the 2nd hit totally negated? Negated.

  9. Usually it takes two specs to kill with d claws, as long as you're wearing semi-decent armor with semi-decent defense. At least, I'd assume so, though I don't pk. But what I'm saying is that, while it'll heal you. you're still in KO range, so it's not a 100% immunity if you carry 2 phoenix necklaces, it's just raising your chances of surviving. You can still die from 2 d claw specs, it's just less likely. I have to say though, it's a great idea. I never thought to use them in PvP. well at the same time, I've always got an emergency brew drink on between specs... pretend he miraculously gets me down to 1hp when the necklace activates... all in one turn: necklace activates (+29hp), I equip another necklace, I eat a shark (+20hp), and drink a brew dose (+16hp) so in one turn I went from 1hp to 66hp, ready for another spec :P
  10. that's why I keep 2-3 extras in my bag, lol the phoenix necklace literally nerfs special attacks... I had 13hp and had a friend dark bow spec me w/ drag arrows (minimum hit of 8-8)... it hit 8-0 and restored me to 34hp had another friend use a claw spec on me when I had 15hp... the ordinary minimum hit of a claw spec is 0-1. he hit a plain 0, and I went up to 44hp I'd always used them while PK'ing the past cuz I knew they were useful, but never THAT useful. I was wondering if they made you 100% to being killed, period. I bought 1k necklaces and went out pk'ing with a full inventory of them... sadly, I was wrong :P nevertheless, they do increase your chance of enduring attacks like dark bow and drag claw specs SIGNIFICANTLY I thought the Dark Bow spec couldn't miss? That's actually a great idea, but you're completely relying on the second spec not hitting too high. So it isn't 100%, but it's nice coverage. Unless...it heals you in the middle of the spec? I suppose Redemption prayer can help as well? It heals you at the same time the spec damage is calculated... like I said, I keep extras in my bag so as soon as one disintegrates, I immediately slap on another

  12. I'm happy as long as they stay at around 30M... with my luck they've been by far the best moneymaking method ever... way more profitable than 26king even lol they don't need to be nerfed... a phoenix necklace grants 100% immunity to the special attack, and the people who are using them are risking 30M while doing it (even though a lot of people just hit-and-run because they don't have any cojones or pk'ing skills)
  13. use greys... time is money

  15. I don't think I used very many... I think less than 2k (or even 1.5k). I'd buy like 3k just to be safe, though.
  16. nice guide... just post a pic of your inventory/gear and a map to the spot with a brief overview of instructions followed by the link to the youtube vid to appease the tough crowd above me ;) could you give me an estimate on the drop rate for rune scimmies there?
  17. As my stalker friend has already explained, I did indeed use void and karils xbow. I kept eagle eye on the whole time and range potted whenever my range dropped 7 lvls (from 112 to 105). Also instead of waiting at safespots for monsters to come, I ran around, hunting them down ignoring all the damage I received. When I'd find a melee monster like a 180 or a 45 and there weren't any 360s or 90s around, I'd hit-and-run them as I headed for a safespot. The key is to not waste any combat turns whenever there are monsters present. you can also bring some super pots and a godsword or a dark bow to speed things up. I think I brought a dark bow with me too. before I made any attempts, though, I used this to calculate how many prayer pots I'd need, assuming that I'd have eagle eye on 100% of the time, and one of the protection prayers on for most of the time too.
  18. Called it a Mystic staff, and give it these stats: Attack Defense Stab 10 2 Slash -1 3 Crush 40 1 Magic 10 10 Range 0 0 Summoning 0 Other Strength 50 Prayer 0 Ranged Strength 0 Better melee stats. Needs full robes to use melee though. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=329
  19. Like you say on paper it is simple. However, Saradomin brew raises a level 3's hp to 13 which is the max hit of the Slagilith and recoils are totally ineffective against it. The paper then looks a little different..... Or you could just get 12 hp and stay lvl 3 lol
  20. it's legit. been using it for years w/o problems. make sure you download it from zybez tho
  21. i'd kill both of them because I'm pretty much amazing.
  22. this topic seems 2 years late :P
