Mining to 70 - Best Way.
you don't need humidify to stay in the desert, just bring an inventory of waterskins and drop the granite after mining it

Skill Training Efficiency.
I always choose the most efficient method, though I always prioritize fun/entertainment over efficiency. I don't train with an "efficient" method if it requires too much attention (i.e. mining/fishing/woodcutting by dropping ores/fish/logs as soon as I get them)

Defence, does your level make much impact?
Your magic defence has nothing to do w/ your defence lvl. With 99 magic, I'd do melee vs magic stakes on muggi against people with 99 defence and magic in the 80s. The people with magic lvls below 85 got killed with only 4 spells very consistently also I did mage vs mage stakes against a lot of pures w/ 1-20 defence with 99 magic. I had 99 defence. The fights were very even.

is a range tank suppose to have prayer?
It's supposed to have 44 prayer, 52 max. Way too many people ruined their accounts by getting 99 prayer, thinking that they needed it lol

Any 20 Def Pure Guides?
Generally if you need a guide on how to make a pure, then you should reconsider making a pure >_>

Defence, does your level make much impact?
A person with 94 94 94 will do better against people similar to his combat level than someone with 99 99 99 (granted that someone w/ maxed stats has no stronger opponents, still they have less "advantage" over others than the person with 94s)

Defence, does your level make much impact?
The best defence levels are: a) Ones where you unlock new armor (i.e. 40, 60, 70) B) Level "humps"; for example, level 87 where super defence potions stop boosting defence by 17 levels and start boosting defence by 18 levels I had 94 defence on muggi for the longest time then one month decided to train to 99 defence. I never lost a fight on muggi when I was 94 defence, however after getting 99 defence I soon regretted it since all of my new opponents had higher offensive stats than my previous ones. Because of this, I've been lead to believe that attack levels are more "potent" than defence levels. I recall fighting someone while I was wearing a torag helm, dhide body, rune kite, rune boots, verac skirt, etc. while sara brewed with steel skin. So, despite having 300+ melee defence, level 120 defence, and steel skin on, the guy comes up to me and kills me with two lucky DDS specs haha. One of them was 34-35 or something outrageous. So honestly, the optimum defence level should be the same as the requirement for armor which you're willing to use. Meaning, stay at 40 defence if you're not going to ever PK with barrows equipment. If you're gonna risk barrows gear, then get 70 defence. Otherwise, 94 defence is the best defence level since it is the final "hump." (Same applies to attack)

Kent's guide to Summoning mastery! Bork
Kent, I've got 88 summoning, with 89 summoning banked (IF I use my blue charms). I'm guessing I should not longer consider saving up my blues for geysers? What should I use my blues on? Elemental titans or lava titans? (It's a pain in the [wagon] to get obsidian charms)

Kent's guide to Summoning mastery! Bork
I was intrigued by your analysis of the combat familiars... why do you say the lava titan is worse than the spirit dagannoth? I've been training melee, using the appropriate combat familiar depending on which stat I'm currently training (i.e. lava titan for strength, rune minotaur for defence, etc.). Would you recommend varying the combat familiar while I train still, or would you recommend the dagannoth while I train on controlled, for example?

What was the true point of of the run update?
All the did was get rid of an unfair advantage really... It was more of a convenience than an advantage

Max EP% is 100%, confirmed.
Those colors make this post hard to read :?

What was the true point of of the run update?
I don't see how it made agility more useful... kinda made it obsolete since lvl 1 agility restores energy faster than the old lvl 99 agility. No reason to train it other than shortcuts and quest requirements

9th June 2009 - Run Energy Update / Patch Notes
I can confirm that you can still cut trees, drop logs, and then automatically resume cutting Also note that while you appear to be pausing after dropping logs, you're still cutting

I guess I just don't see why these sorta things bother other people so much. It's not my problem if they get 100M in loot without risking anything, similar to how it's not my problem if they kill one boss just to "try" it and get banned. Seems like people only get mad when others are cheating and benefiting from it, rather than playing the game legitimately. But for me, that's just it - it's just a game, so I really don't think less of people who are breaking the rules. There's a difference between breaking the rules in a video game than breaking the law in reality. (Keep in mind I don't think it's "right" to break the rules in RS; rather, I just don't let other people's actions interfere with my playing experience)- 9th June 2009 - Run Energy Update / Patch Notes
I'm surprised that people w/ 99 agility enjoy this update... With level 1 agility now, you regain energy as fast as someone w/ the old 99 agility haha. Agility seems to have gotten less useful to train, other than the shortcuts- 9th June 2009 - Run Energy Update / Patch Notes
There's a difference between today's bugs and the Mu/Duriel bug though - in today's bug, nobody was unfairly affected. Meaning, if you played the game like you normally do, you'd have a normal day. You wouldn't randomly get logged off or have some guy come and kill you out of nowhere. The only people who were involved with this bug were well aware of what they were doing, and chances are they'll get banned for it. Jagex usually monitors big bugs like this very closely... take it from me ;)- 9th June 2009 - Run Energy Update / Patch Notes
Friend got ely sigil at ffa corp I hope he doesn't get banned :ohnoes: Pic? http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/1340/090609132854.png ---- Darkdude, I don't see how these minor bugs, in the span of an hour or less, amount to the damage that the dupe or 6/6/6 bug accomplished to do. Rollback was never going to happen. That pic looks old *points to summoning meter* - 9th June 2009 - Run Energy Update / Patch Notes
