I can remember my method for money making when first started playing lol, picking up the chaos runes in dark warriors fortress all day. No revs =P, but risk of getting pk'ed made it fun. was back in 2007, all seemed new to me at that time.

[/hide] I was just wondering in terms of efficiency and getting all 200mil's, when going for 200mil fishing xp would it be better to go heavy rod fishing all the way, or stop at around 182Mil and leave the rest to be done while doing dungeoneering/effigies. If you stop at 182mil and get the rest from effigies/dung, you wont have to waste time on actually fishing but you do lose out on some agility and str xp. If you heavy rod fishing from 182mil fishing xp to 200mil you and earn on average 71k fishing xp an hour you'll spend 254 hours on fishing but you'll recieve 1.6mil worth of agility and strength xp which will save you 23 hours of agility if you can average 72k agility xp per hour at adv barb course and 20 hours of strength xp assuming you average 80k str xp at cave crawlers meaning that that 172mil-200mil fishing xp by heavy rod fishing will save 51 hours of time whereas using effigies on fishing will save 254 hours of time. Anyway i was just curious since i'm going for 200mil fishing xp myself. Doing it by heavy rod fishing all the way since i'm not interested in getting 200mil xp in all stats, or not yet, maybe i'll change my mind about it later on whether i should stop at 172mil fishing xp or not =P Editted Btw, i wrote 172mil instead of 182mil lol, so re calc'd too.

Learn to click, in my opinion, the better clicker with better skill deserves the rock if he/she wants it, if you can outmine the outminer then gratz you deserve the rock.

cooking and fm are boring, range i think would be fun to get 200m in and it benefits hp as well. Well, it should be at least proportional to p2p since there aren't any fantastic methods for range in f2p, and there are relatively few 200m range players compared to cooking and firemaking. Smithing should be relatively fast smithing adamant platebodies in p2p - as fast as members, actually, and fairly good exp when compared to cooking and firemaking. Unless I'm missing a powerranging method available in f2p, it seems very odd that it's the most 200m'ed in f2p when much faster skills are available. Who the hell smiths adamant platebodys to 200m? K, i'll answer it myself, nobody(and the only reason adamant platebodys are a viable method of training smithing is that not everyone is going for 200m). I think 'Water Is Nat', or now known as 'Water' got 200mil Smithing off addy platebodies =P Probably a good chance too since he used to get around 4mil smithing xp a day when he did train smithing.

222Mil total xp/193 days and 22 hours= 48K. would be a lot higher if i played more efficiently during 2007, which is when i started. Wasted so much time talking, etc and hardly any skilling.

187Mil fishing xp gives 17.6Mil str xp (and 17.6mil agi xp) or 1 str xp(&agi xp) for every 11 fish xp

When i was mining from October 2009 to Febuary 2010 i managed to get from 13Mil Mining xp to 53Mil, my aim was to get on the mining front page, and was my only motivation lol. I managed to get rank 16 in mining, then i got bored after 50Mil so i've temporarily quit. I don't play the game for ranks but currently i am going for 200Mil Fishing xp and it would be pretty nice to make it to the front page by the time i've gotten 200Mil, I have 20Mil Fishing xp at the moment.

Yeah I know your not blaming him ;) I just meant that its good to do something else too to avoid the risk of losing interest on that massive goal. By the way, is construction the fastest skill now in Rs as Runetrack shows that Telmo got 9m xp one day and what I remember in bonus xp weekend, Elvis and the other guys got 'only' 5-9m xp in Herb per day. Anyone has idea how he trains Const? He claims its 700k-800k xp per hour, at that speed its not hard to believe.

You can play the game however you want, as long as you enjoy it, and i like to play the game efficienty as i find playing runescape boring otherwise
