  1. So people are going to stop playing RuneScape because it's not "simple" anymore, and instead going to another game which isn't "simple" either? wat Lrn2read If runescape becomes more complex they will lose players to games that do complex gameplay better. Those who want simplicity will just quit altogether. However that jmod post few up looks very promising that they won't take the game too far in that direction. You very clearly said "will lost players to other mmos which do it better", without mentioning those who will quit altogether. So... judging by your post, I assume I read correctly. You assumed incorrectly. If you really feel the need to argue then pm me. This isn't helping the discussion.

  3. Well wc is definitely willows for fastest xp. Runecrafting is the runespan I believe for combat its flesh crawlers in the SOS. Prayer is burying big bones (ew...) Magic is probably superheating for mage and smithing xp. For cash I believe playing gop and getting water talismans are the best after flipping ofc
  4. Use charm pattern for and a little common sense (I.e. grimys spreadsheets for gp/xp figures) to choose what to level on. Id say camp AC waterfiends with the maul. Goliath gloves are a little better in the AC and definitively better in the CT (spec hits more than one fiend) but if you haven't unlocked them it may not be worth the time. For gear go with elite void melee and max str.
  5. Title says it all pretty much The old mobile version let me click the first page or the last page. The new one does not. Makes it a pain to navigate, especially with guides or threads that are rapidly developing.
  6. Wish I could have come. Too busy rediscovering my love for DDR
  7. Definitely no. He doesn't have access to any of the good combat familiars.
  8. Is there a reason you're staying FTP?
  9. Hence why I noted that it was outdated...
  10. But death knight have a 3 button rotation :P Things must have changed. Back when I played unholy in icc there was 5 abilities in your main rotation ( bound on q, e 1 2 3) and then 4 more situational abilities for AoE and crowd control. And it was more of a priority system at that point.
  11. Beta needs a lot of work. Hopefully they listen to their players so they can make this rework really good. Right now I'm too busy making sure I'm hitting all my abilities to bother even watching my avatar fight.
  12. The problem imo is too many abilities. If I wanted to execute a perfect rotation for max dps I would go back to playing my death knight in WoW. Melee should be unlock 1 ability at levels 10 20 and 30 (3 abilities total) for attack. Levels 40 50 60 / 70 80 90 should upgrade those three abilities respectively. 99 would get you your 4th and last ability. Strength would modify the % damage done for each ability every level from 1-99 Defense should provide 1 defensive cool down ability at 30, upgraded at 60 and 90, and a final cool down at 99. Additionally it should provide a %damage reduction for each level 1-99 maxing at 10%. Every ability would act uniquely based on what you are wielding (2h, dual wield, 1h w/shield). mage and range I haven't played around with yet. Edit Runescapes beauty has always been in its simplicity. Taking it away from that is just going to lose players to other mmos that do complex better than runescape is even capable of. (Swtor and wow being the most obvious examples)
  13. Which is an excuse. Go do the quests. Edit Other charm options are cannoning kalphites in the do no evil lair, cannoning black demons, TD's, bursting/barraging rock lobsters, Bork every day (use a ring of wealth) and finally use joat, penguin points and troll invasion on it if you're desperately wanting those summoning levels. My personal favourite is the KBD for crimsons (each kill is ~2.4 crimson charms on average) and with my stats I average around 110 an hour plus 600 k profit.
  14. Yes. I never understand why people bother to mention that they haven't done a quest. Because it's easier to make excuses and play the victim than it is to do the work.
  15. http://forum.tip.it/topic/222890-melee-ranging-and-two-slight-diversions/ There's a chart that's a little outdated but should give you a rough idea.
  16. This needs to be updated. Its still better than all the awful video guides general guides is plagued with.
  17. Get the bow. We will be getting Rigour and Augury for free in the near future. We still don't have them for free NOW. This. Buy rigour and get the use out of it now, then when you get the tokens back with eoc you can buy another chaotic based on what's the best to own after the update.
  18. Oh hey its this thread again. Rose tinted glasses blah blah blah if its not fun don't play. I play because maxing and then bossing is fun and I can do it while watching movies.
  19. Better yet, just do PP for 200 + k xp/hr and use mad may on agility so it doesnt suck.
  20. Th e Doctor replied to Samaster's topic in Help and Advice
    assuming youre exactly half way to 99 its 163.75 hours at 40 k xp/hr 145.56 at 45 k xp/hr and 131 at 50 k xp/hr
  21. Iron is better xp and profit than coal.
