Oh hey its this thread again. Welcome back good old efficiency vs fun debate, we've missed you. Fun is relative. For me fun is being efficient with earning money and xp. If its something else for you go do that and have fun earning less money and xp than me.

Thanks :shades: Did a bunch of Steel and Iron Dragon tasks in Kuradels (3 steels and 1 iron task) and ended up +1.4 mil so that was nice. Next up is 226 black demons so here's to another ~150 crimson charms. Tomorrow I have work from 8:00-4:30 (stupid.jpg) but after that I should finish my task and then get 84 farming, 73 smithing, 83 thieving, and 77 rc (blood runes ftw!)

Part of the any summoning rework should include summoning you back to rs at will.

Blackjacking for thieving until monkey knife fighters at 75. (Blackjacking requires the feud quest) Smithing is gold superheating. Construction is oak larders. Crafting and herblore depend on your income level. Fastest for crafting gems but comes at a cost. But as said check grimy's sheets for gp/xp figures to help make the decision.

Havent been on to try jad again. Basically have only gotten on the last two days to do herb runs but it seems like torstols are going down the toilet temporarily profit - wise. Should get 84 farming tomorrow.

220+ kph sucks? I agree that melee for him is much better but dragonbane bolts and swift gloves work very well there. And he shouldnt bother with soul split until he can get turmoil. Losing piety will bring down his gp/hr more than ss will save him on food.

If you have ascendancy mines from dominion tower use them. 2 k damage per mine as long as its not a killing blow (hits nothing if the hit will kill nomad). That with all brews and kyatt/spam scrolls for the killing blow makes him rediculously easy. Otherwise what Q said is you best bet.

Im giving it another go tonight. This last time was the first attempt with overloads.

Literally accomplished nothing in rs today besides having my worst torstol run thus far (34 herbs no seeds back, gf 300 k). Irlscape was great though, and tomorrow I have a meeting with some important people that could seriously impact my career. Hopefully ill get 79 slayer tomorrow, and ideally make it back to 6 mil cash (2.9 atm).

Im pretty good. Meleeing jad isnt an issue at least (its the healers that mess me up).

For fishing you should do c2s on your low dg floors since you need to do them for dg anyway. Plus its better exp than barb/fly fishing and way better than monks. Mining is better to powermine until 80 as concentrated coal is both bad exp and cash. For woodcutting you can low alch the teak logs instead of dropping them for better exp. Or you can do arctic pines for better exp. For firemaking its better to switch to jadinko lair at 83 (83 wc required as well) for the best exp in game as well as being free and giving juju potion seeds. Besides that this post is spot on.

Figured its just as good to use goliath gloves for a couple specs and I dont own a fire/rhino cape. I also dont have an iron titan. I guess ill just stick to vyres when I feel like power leveling. Better exp at this point and slight profit. Like players, NPCs defense levels regenerate over time. So if you were to use goliaths, you would have to spec a few times every few minutes... Or just BGS every 5 minutes. At least that's how i think it works, best place to test that theory would be sentinels :P Interesting. I guess its now one of three places where bgs is worth using then.

Sadly you dont have the stats to make amazing money. Your best money maker is probably going to be green dragons for about 1 mil an hour plus farming snapdragons every 1.5 hours. A better alternative long run would be to start dging with snap runs and dailies +mtk for cash until you can get an arc stream, rapier, scroll of life and cleansing. You should make around 50 mil in the time it takes to get a rapier + goodies plus then you'll have access to frost dragons for great cash and one of the best weapons in the game.

Seems like itd be doable at 89 range with void, and tokkul-zo... any idea on how much a royal crossbow is going for/if I could make it to phase 4? Need to do it before they nerf it at jad...

Back to slaying today. I dont powerslay so I should be making money (blue dragon task atm). Hopefully I can get a royal crossbow before my next jad task and make it uber easy.

Just spent an hour at dagannoth sentinels with 3 overloads (4), turmoil on the whole time, reduced defense with 3 goliath glove specs, wearing a crapier, void+deflector/goliath gloves, ardy cape (3), dragon boots, fury, and a berserker ring. I got 140 k exp/hr... I have a hard time believing that an iron titan spamming scrolls is an additional 100 k+ xp/hr so am I doing something wrong or am I just seriously underestimating the prowess of spamming iron titan scrolls with summoning potions?

Doesn't make me feel better, just less alone in my frustration. My goal for the week is to beat jad. Ill try between now and thursday to get him as a slayer task again and if not ill do it with my just me tokkul-zo. Is dealing with the healers easier with range/polypore?
