Frost dragons have a new attack (gf bots for a week or two)
Banning bots is a lost cause. Some people really need to realise that (to be quite honest i'm shocked that people havent already). Ban a bot, 2 more are created tomorrow and ready for action within a week. The only (realistic) option Jagex has (aside from assigning people to popular bot-hotspots all over the game and resetting them as they pass. This would however be a waste of manpower) is to do what they have done to Frosts. Make it harder/less profitable for bots while not causing any trouble for legit players. Yes, Frosts might not have changed much (or will be back to normal within a few days) but it's a start, and it shows potential. It's innovative thinking for sure. Give some time and they'll be able to learn from their mistakes and improve. I'm not seeing RS botfree for a long time to come, but bots might become less of an issue and less damaging to the economy in the near future, which is exciting.

Rugby World Cup 2011
Don't really think the red card was as unfair as people make it out out to be. That was a dangerous tackle after all. I think what most people are upset about is the fact that it's not a consistent call if you look at some other dangerous tackles that have been made in earlier games in the world cup. So in accordance with the rules the referee made the best decision by sending him off. And i applaud him for having the guts to follow the rules in a big game like that.

Glacors, am i doing something wrong?
They'er about a 1/8 drop with RoW, 1/10 without. It's not uncommon to go ~30 - 40 kills without any shards at all, but you'll probably get a b2b drop or two the next trip.

LRC mining set-up
The Mining outfit is only really going to be worth it if you're banking the ore. If you're alching you'll be wasting more time getting the outfit than you would gain by using the suit. BA horn is probably going to be more or less the same as it is with Agility, saving you ~4 hours assuming a full horn @ 6 hours per fill. I'm just speculating though, i'm not sure on the exact number. I imagine it would also pretty much follow the same principal as agility: If you have a steady team capable of filling the horn in 6 hours or less, its worth it. Going above that makes the process less efficient and you would be better off just mining without the Horn. Also i'f you're looking to bank, just take a Totroise. Fill it with urns (take some earth runes to "activate" them). Keep 1 urn in your inventory. This this way you'll have to bank a bit more often but you'll still be able to take advantage of urns giving you a slight exp boots.

Mithril dragon drop rate questions.
Wow i though the Effigy rate was closer to 1/210 or something. Miths are great though. They're one of the only good effigy droppers that require so little attention but can still be done just as efficiently.

LRC mining set-up
18 Urns 3 Juju Potions 1 Coin as placeholder Nature Runes Fire Staff equipped Pickaxe in inventory This is pretty much if you're looking for the fastest possible mining exp. Gold would be best. Alch the ore as you mine it. The first few minutes is going to be sucky because you'll only have 4 inventory spaces open. Teleport the first 4 urns as soon as they fill to give you some extra inventory space to work with. If you're looking to bank the ore, don't use urns.

200M in all Skills
Mousekeys (by that i mean just using the 5 on the numberpad as a left-click) probably take some strain off the right-hand index finger.

Rugby World Cup 2011
Yeah some NZ player kicked the ball, right down the touch line, Quade caught it. NZ player dipped his head and smashed Cooper. Textbook stuff. NZ really played a smashing game. Blood and sweat.

Glacors, am i doing something wrong?
Yeah only thing you could really do to improve your K/H is to not bother "luring" them behind a wall/rock. Just prayer switch when needed. You've got 99 Def so the damage you take from Glacytes will be minimal. Since you don't have a Steel Titan and you're not using SoA, i think without luring the Glacytes 38 - 44 should be around par.

Nox - My Journey to 1B Exp.
Been doing a lot of Effigy collecting lately. Probably going to end up getting 92 - 99 RC just from effigies, or at least as close to 99 as i can afford. I'll be doing some casual skilling inbetween and to have the required levels to open them. I think i need something like 150 Effigies for 99 Runecrafting taking into account the RC exp i'll gain from opening them. Should give me a nice bit of exp in the other skills that aren't 99 yet, giving me a bit of a boost to 99. Have about 400k Cannonballs now with another 75k buying in the G E. Hoping that once i've used up all of them i'll have ~105 Effigies. Thus far i have this: Some milestones while collecting effigies:

Simple overload question
I see no difference in the two strategies except that the one allows you to stay 120 kc, the other allows you to stay maybe 30 kc. So the former would be the better option because it cuts out banking time. So you'r making no sense. Also, why so mad? Relax bro.

avg droprate of Boots at Glacors?
I was thinking more of 1/300 maybe 1/350 region.

Simple overload question
You call his friend an idiot and then you say " Solo with maul + sharks. Bring 2 brews ". Alright then. Anyway TC, if you're bothered enough, get yourself an onscreen timer (countdown timer). Set one to 5 Minutes. Restart it every time you overload. Keep track of it. Make sure you don't brew the last few seconds of the 5 minutes. This gives you that 500lp boost. Comes in handy, saves 2 brew sips. Set another one to 15 seconds repeat. Keep an eye on it. Brew as near to the end of the 15 seconds as you can. This will improve your performance. It might take a while to get used to it, but once you do it will improve your trips by a lot. I used to do 80 - 88kc solos, with the timers i can easily squeeze in another 3 or 4 (sometimes even 5 or 6) kills taking you to 100kc + solos.

New Boots vs Old Boots.
Just a quick, simple, question. Do the added bonuses from the new boots justify their cost? I don't want to spend 30m on Boots that won't make any notable improvement.

avg droprate of Boots at Glacors?
6 Boots in about 1.8k Kills. Row switch on 95% of the kills at least. 1/1k seems a bit too high though.

Rugby World Cup 2011
So it seems the past week there has been a lot going on concerning Bryce Lawrence. People are blaming him of being inconsistent and one sided. Media says that he has officially made a joke of Rugby. His poor performance in the SA vs Aus game was a disgrace. There are petitions to stop him from ever refereeing another international game, and to be honest i hope they succeed. Either Bryce was paid to blow in Aus favor or he just has a clear hate for SA. After watching the game again several times this week i actually saw just what a hash he made of things. Pocock could have just as well been wearing a green jersey when he entered the ruck. He was coming in from the side more often than not. Not only did he come in from the side but he would kill the ball, fall off his feet, play with hands in the ruck. Sure a Ref can miss that once, but what Lawrence did was a disgrace to the game. I hope for Bryce's sake that he stays as far away from SA as possible. I don't think he would leave the place in one piece after robbing SA from the Cup.

Rugby World Cup 2011
It's hard to say this and actually believe it, but i think the better team won today. While the statistics might suggest that SA should have had a run-away victory, they lacked the ability to finish the play and get the points on the board. Aus punished us for every tiny mistake we made. Worst of all is the fact that we actually allowed them to do it. But well played. Was a game that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Buying a new PC.
Doesn't really matter if it's touchscreen or not. Wouldn't really change things. I live in Qatar. i'm not really sure how up to date we are with certain technology. I think the all-in-one touchscreens were only released here a week or so ago, and i'm certain they've been around for quite a while. That might give you an idea of how up to date we are with certain things. We have a store up the road that could probably put everything together within a few hours/days, so if it would be in my best interest then that's probably what i should do. But again i should mention that i'm not particularly worried about having the best of the best. It's just for someone who uses it it check e-mails, play the odd flash game here and there. Reason we're getting a new pc for him is because he's using my old one right now and it's pretty ancient (as are most of the other desktops we've got around the house) and they start running really slowly when he runs certain programs one of which runs pretty much 24/7 (some stockmarket updater thing). If it helps, "budget" is around $2 000.

Buying a new PC.
Well an all-in-one would be preferable, but not necessity. I realize building one would be cheaper. I would probably have done it but problem is that neither me nor my dad really have the knowledge to do so. Other reason for taking an all-in-one is because that's about the only thing most stores here sell.

Buying a new PC.
Just need something for day-to-day tasks for my dad. Doesn't need to be the fastest thing on the market, but not looking for a tortoise either. Is this any good? http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=221134821&sellerid=11796268 Or http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/645378/HP-TouchSmart-310-1125f-All-In/?cm_mmc=Mercent-_-Google-_-Computers_and_Servers-_-645378&mr:trackingCode=DA91675F-316C-E011-9898-0019B9C043EB&mr:referralID=NA Not the most knowledgeable when it comes to these things and it's kind of hard to understand the people working in sales.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
People who think they can turn as soon as they put on their indicator. Seriously, you need to check if it's clear first. You can't just put it on and [bleep]ing turn. About 2 weeks ago we had to go pick up my dad from the Airport. We were driving to the exit when some fool just cut right infront of us. My dad got out of the car, walked up to the other dude, banged on his window. We saw arms flinging in the air, heard 2 loud voices. My dad came back and said "He said he had his indicator on. He doesn't understand why i'm so angry. Turn indicator means he can turn." Really?

Cars
Personally i would never buy a car that's over 75k KM. I don't think a car with 200k on it would be a great buy. Question: I've got some money saved up and thought i might use it to buy a car when i get to the US. I'll probably get a previously-owned car. If i were to look at something like a Mustang or a Dodge Charger, what would be a good year and good mileage? Is it even worth buying them previously-owned? I know it might sound like a silly question, but here in Qatar most people only buy muscle for one purpose and after about 15k km the engine is [bleep]ed because they'll only shift gears once it's in the red. So the car pretty much takes a beating.
