Yeah that might help me, problem is on weekdays i often find myself studying till 11 or 12 in the evenings, sometimes even till 1am. Over weekends i study till 4 in the morning, which kind of messes everything up for the monday morning :|

Many Hours do you normally play?
Runescape membership won't be there in X days you have left. So you're gonna take a $6 membership over friends? :P

Many Hours do you normally play?
Think he means have you avoided going out, or stayed home from a party/hanging out with your friends, to play RS. I don't see why anyone would have to do this to be honest. RS will always be there tomorrow. Even if it's over BXP weekend, you're telling me you can't miss the first few hours of it to see your friends?

Many Hours do you normally play?
I remember playing more than 10 hours a day often. Sometimes i would probably play 60 hours a week. That's what happens when you have no ambitions in life. Now i feel blessed when i get to play more than 3.

Drinking/Drugs
hahahahar This made me very sad :( One of the only beers i REALLY enjoy. I know a lot of my friends never liked it because they said it's too bitter for them, although i always found it to be one of the sweeter beers i've had (and i've had a lot of different beer). If you want fizzy piss you should buy America beer.

Ethics and Morality
--Robert M. Morgenthau, District Attorney, Manhattan, NY[3] "I am not convinced that capital punishment, in and of itself, is a deterrent to crime because most people do not think about the death penalty before they commit a violent or capital crime." Actually a great statement. I doubt anyone really thinks about the punishment before committing a crime. But then this: "Strengthening families and neighborhoods, punishing criminals swiftly and surely, controlling illegal drugs, and gun control are considered much more important than the death penalty." If they managed to do this, there would not be little for the death penalty. I, for one, has always been for the death penalty. Mostly because of where i grew up. I know what my country was like with the death penalty. Crime rates were a lot lower. A LOT. When the death penalty was taken away the crime rate shot up, but the death penalty was not the only reason for that. There were many other factors that made the crime rate go up. Then i moved to an Arabic country where i was once again back in a country (rather a region) where corporal punishment was allowed. The crime rate is one of the lowest in the world, so of course being the ignorant person that i am, i was quick to assume that it was because of the corporal punishment, but there are also a great deal of other factors that influence the lack of crime. So to make my point clear, i am now in a position where i am not for, nor against it. I believe that there is a time and a place for everything. If a serial killer is found guilty, without any reasonable doubt, of his crimes then i believe the death penalty might be a suitable punishment. If there is any doubt at all, even the slightest doubt, then it might not be a best option. But then where does one draw the line between the two? And this is something that will always keep the death penalty away from many countries. As for pulling the plug and ending someone's life. For me, that's a tough one. I can easily sit here, behind my computer, my whole family healthy, saying that if one of them were to be in a state of vegetation and the day comes where i would have to pull the plug i would do it without thinking twice. Pull the plug and end their lives, because a life in a vegetated state is no life after all, right? But when that day really comes chances are i'll never get myself to the point where i can really do it, nor authorize it. at the end of the day you're still going to lose someone you really loved. At least in the vegetated state you were able to see them, and talk to them, and feel them. Even though it might break your heart, seeing them in such a state, it is better than staring at a grave stone. Selfish, perhaps. My thoughts on morality and ethics. Well it's something i've never really given much thought too. I've always been a sheep following the herd. If they tell me this is wrong, i believe them and ask no questions. If they tell me this is right, i believe them and ask no questions. But sooner or later your mind starts wondering about things, and mine only really did when i was forced to live among a new culture where i was exposed to new habits, a new set of morals. It goes without saying that i realised there is no right or wrong, its all subjective. It's all dependent of your morals, which are also subjective. So if you want to ask what makes an action moral or ethic, you really need to ask yourself what you believe is moral or ethic because our opinions might be totally different, and even if they aren't different, our personalities will be and this will also influence our opinions when it comes to punishment. I now this sounds redundant so i'll try give an example: Y: What he did was totally immoral. X: Yes, i totally agree. (Same opinion. What he did was immoral.) Y: He should be locked up, and the key thrown away. X: No, he should be strapped to the electric chair. Y: That's just barbaric. X: And his actions weren't? So although they both agree that his actions were immoral, they feel different about the way he should be punished. (Okay i just realised i have no idea where i'm going with this. I lost my train of thought.) Edit: I have to say that i am not really for a live-sentence either. I am not really sure what prison life is like, having never been there myself, but from what i understand is that they have a bed to sleep on, daily meals, and they get to spend time working out. They're even allowed to take showers. These guys are criminals, yet they get everything for free once they go to jail. It might not be the best, heck it's far from the best, but they probably lead a much better live than many homeless people. Just doesn't seem right. The "justice system" is something i'll never be able to wrap my mind around.

200M in all Skills
It's all going to depend on the droprate. If the droprate has been reduced a lot, i don't think there's going to be a whole lot of effigy farming anymore. Players still have to finish their combat stats, so there should still be a lot of effigy farming. Also at suomi it does hurt you a bit, because to maximise the amount of effigies you get you should use them at the time you get them (and not while banking) because it decreases the chance of getting an other one if you keep it. I wasn't really referring to people who are still going to get effigies while training their combat, i was referring to people who were farming effigies as an alternate exp source for slower, more tedious skills like Rc and Agility.

Quick question regarding Effigies.

Effigy nerf
I don't think it was entirely needed. I can understand why mummies were nerfed. They were just way too easy. All you had to do was stand there, without clicking, and get effigies at a pretty damn decent rate. I was averaging more than 1 per hour. What i don't understand is why Effigies as a whole got nerfed. To collect Effigies fast enough to make them an efficient alternative to training some of the slower skills you had to either: a). Do something with that requires a high APM (Glacors/TDS) and have decent equipment to do so, or b). Do something that required a lot of money (Cave Crawlers). Either of these two would take a lot of work to get to the stage where you can efficiently do them. Making the money, doing the quests, etc. Being so close to Max, planning everything out with the mind that i would have been using Effigies for a lot of the exp i still needed, this might be a bit of a setback.

Quick question regarding Effigies.
Oh poop :( Anyone know if Glacors/TDs will still be a viable option for training Agility? Or is it still to early to ask?

sad?
Didn't know it was the 14th till now to be honest o.O

Quick question regarding Effigies.
After reading the update, i was a bit annoyed about the whole Effigy thing. They were basically my main Exp gain for Agility. But stories aside, i did not quite understand exactly what was meant by that "comment". As far as i understood, the droprate for Effigies has been nerfed. And the droprate will further decrease depending on how many you have banked. More than 5 means you can't get them as a drop anymore. Now my question is (although it might sound simple), i know they say the droprate has been changed, does this apply for the first effigy, or only the ones thereafter? Because if it doesn't applies for the first one then its still fine, if not, well poop now i have to train skills :|

[Video] AFK effigy guide
Was talking to a guy at mummies earlier. He said that apparently Mod Reach or someone (can't remember exactly who he was speaking of) already confirmed that this is being fixed with Tuesday's update. How valid that is we'll have to see come Tuesday.

200M in all Skills
Bug rolls off the tongue and is more easily understood than "stupid, absolutely horrendous design oversight" Pretty much, i guess. But calling it a bug leads to calling people bug-abusers (which is not, and which they aren't) and people get offended/annoyed because of this kind of stupidity.

Still laughing at people calling this a bug/glitch. I don't think they even know what it means.

Been there just over two hours and already 4 effigies. Heard Jmods are already working on getting it patched though, although it might just be rumor.
