  2. Yes but Jagex says it isn't. Appeal again dendied. If you registered an Email along with security questions, then you shouldn't have any problem getting your account back. Try a few more times. If that doesn't work. Contact Jagex using their personal emailing system and prove you're the legit owner. Actually, strange as this might be, friend of mine got hacked not long ago while he had an e-mail registered to it along with recovery questions. He tried recovering his account with the use of the e-mail but that didn't work. he only managed to get it back after trying to recover it with the security questions after his second attempt.
  3. While on the topic of Exams, i need some input. I've got about 3 000 pages divided into 6 books that i need to know like the palm of my hand within the next 7 - 8 weeks. It's an Aviation course so it's basically everything from how the human body and related factors influences your performance, how an Aeroplane works, basic flying training, meteorology and aviation law, radiotelephony, and some geography/navigation. A lot of it is fairly easy (most of it actually) but here and there some of the technicals get to me. I've been going back and forth between what the best method of studying would be but as i've never really been a star student i don't exactly know what would be the best. Three options are as follows: 1.) Do an equal amount of each book, each day. Say 2 chapters/book or 15pages/book. 2.) Focus on 2 books at a time. Get them done. Move on to the next 2. 3.) Focus on 2 books at a time. Get them done. Move on to the next 2. Once i've completed all 6 books start working on them a second time doing equal segments of each book per day. Which would be more beneficial.

Reminds me of a pen i saw at Mont Blanc a few months ago. Was a special limited addition John Lennon pen. Went for around $2.2k As for cologne. Paco Rabanne 1 Million when i go to parties, mall, etc. Dunhill when i need to dress up. The sweeter scent of the 1 Million is more of a "i'm here to party" scent. The muskier scent of the Dunhill just feels a bit more classy.

Well i finally managed to get Fremmy Boots 4, which means that i no longer need to use a Yak for hybridding. But the question i have involves tribridding instead. Would i still be able to Solo tribrid with just a Uni? I'm fairly certain that it would still be possible assuming i manage to find a slow spawning world. The SSing on Supreme and Rex should keep my HP up enough and i'll have EEE + Spiritcape for good measure. But now the question is would i be able to solo Tribrid with a cannon unsing just a Uni? Tribridding already takes up 4 inventory spaces (which is fine because i took a few too many p pots on my previous trip, so i can easily replace them with the runes i'll need) but this is going to mean that i'll have to take out 4 more items to fit the cannon in (which isnt a problem. 20 Minute high intensity trips are fine by me). The only question is whether or not i'll have enough healing. For good measure i'll take 2 brews with me just incase of emergency. EDIT: How does the profit/h for solo maging compare to solo hybrid? I was thinking i might start maging again now and then when i feel like doing something that requires little effort.
  6. Finally decided to update this thing again. Anyway, got 91 Fishing yesterday which led to the finish of Fremmy Elite diaries. Decided to go to DKs, since i havent been there in a long time. Glad to say that it turned out decent and i managed to make 1.9m in just 1 hour. Oh and also reached 2400 total.
  7. Couple scenes hours like that in Black Swan. Mila Kunis should not be forgotten in this conversation [No Strings Attached had a counter part movie with the other girl, though I remember not the title. I beleive it may have been Friends With Benefits] Actually saw her on "The Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon" about 2 days ago. Man she has one great looking body. I'm not usually the kind of guy to say this or even care about it, but her ass is amazing.

If you live in Europe, this ain't always true. Well i wouldn't really know. I was talking merely on hearsay. But i imagine now that the economy has recovered from back when recession hit, things are much more stable and finding bargains like you could back then will be a lot harder now. Where did you get the impression that the economy was better? I have no idea how the economy works and I know that there's no way it's better yet. :P Should have said "recovered a bit" rather than just "recovered". Makes it seem like i meant it's already fully recovered when it is really just slightly better.

I think property, for one, is one of the best investments. When things started looking up for our family, a few years ago, my dad decided to start investing in property as well. Since Arabic countries do not have pension funds he would have to create his own, in a manner of speaking. He turned to property. he started investing at the peak of the recession in a few European countries, finding properties for give-away prices. Some of them let him down, but others did a lot better than he imagined they would. It is, as you say, a risky business. You can't always win. You're going to have to get used to losing money here and there. But if you know what you're doing then those times will be minimal.
  12. Many of you might remember the post i made a few weeks back about me and my girlfriend. I took to heart what a lot of you said. And after a lot of thinking, going back and forth, i finally decided on what was best for me and her. It became clear to me that for the past 2 years she has been the cause of most of my stress (directly and indirectly) whether or not either of us wants to admit it. And as selfish as it seems, with my newly chosen career path stress is the last thing i need right now. I came to realise that love is a feeling that should not be altered by anything, no matter how big. I should be able to love her just as much when she's half-way across the world as i would have had she been sitting right next to me. The blunt truth is that i did not get this feeling at all anymore. It led me to think that my relationship with her was based on lust and infatuation, sad as it might sound. So i tried doing the most honorable thing i could (bearing in mind our circumstances) and i video-called her on skype. For the first time in god know how long we talked about what we really wanted out of life and our relationship with each other. It became quite clear that, pardon the cliche, we wanted much different things. It seemed that there was only one thing i could do. So taking up the role as the bad-guy, like i usually do, i told her that it was over. I feel horrible for ending it like i did, but i just could not go through another year lying to her, and myself for that matter. I'm sure she already knew it as much as i knew it, but the impact of the worlds still hit pretty hard no matter how well you prepare yourself. I think a part of her hates me because during our two odd years together we have had a few breakups but "love" always had me running back. I think a part of her expects me to do the same thing now. No matter how hard it is, and how badly i want too, i feel that what i did was for the best. I think i need some time alone, to grow and see who i am on an emotional level. And i probably could not have realised that had it not been for the advice given to me by the posters. For that i thank you. Basically, i just wanted to say many thanks for all the advice you guys gave me. I feel like the right thing was done.

Currently i get whatever i need from my parents (father, to be more specific). This time next year i'll be making about $6 000 US a month in a "junior" position. With 10 years' experience (assuming job market stays more or less the same) i could easily make ~$25 000 US a month. That said, I've been poor, i've been wealthy. Money has no meaning to me. As long as i can provide while doing what i love, life's good.
  14. You have more control over the engine, in a manner of speaking. But you have less control over the car. More control would suggest more time spent with both hands on the wheel. This can only be achieved with an automatic vehicle. Regardless, most modern automatic cars have tiptronic gearboxes which enables you to switch from automatic to manual at the touch of a button. Edit: Surprised no one has brought up the fact that some cars (i think German made cars), when converted from LHD to RHD the indicators, wipers and lights stay on the exact same place which would ultimately make them seem to be the other way around. If you get what i mean.

When we lived back in SA my mom used to have the 2001 i think, just before the new (new old) shape was released. Sweet cars. Only bad thing about them is the poor AC.
  16. Used this too. Actually used this for 90% of my medic and recon unlocks. Really despised both classes until i discovered how great the saw for medic and vss+ x4 for recon was.

Tis all that GDP and stuff. In Taiwan, medium fries from McD's costs ~$.90 USD (conversion rate). That might seem cheap to people in the US, but it's probably somewhat "expensive" for people in Taiwan. So I'd imagine that in Qatar you'd have a hard time getting a job that pays enough to make $60k USD seem cheap. I don't know how to say this without sounding like an utter racist, but facts are facts so my apologies if some of you find this offensive in any form. Truth be told, if you are a westerner (more specifically white) finding a job that pays that "pays enough to make $60k USD seem cheap" is somewhat easy. Although saying $60k USD is "cheap" might be a bit of an exaggeration, it is still by no means "expensive". However, if you are from most Asian counties (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Philippines [to name the countries that make up the largest portion of the hard labor workers]) $60k USD is something you would not see in 5 lifetimes of working. Also keep in mind that when referring to "cheap" i do keep in mind what it would have cost me had i purchased said product in South Africa.
  18. All you RHD people keep saying this, but honestly...I feel way better putting my strong arm [right hand] on the stick, so I don't have to worry about grinding gears constantly, or stalling for that matter. MOst cars have power steering so my left hand is fine controlling the car - hell I've seen people drive with their knees. Actually there's no difference in driving RHD or LHD. It's going to feel odd for the first few times then then you'll be so used to it you won't even notice it. Seems like people are really making such a big fuss about "oh, but my strong arm won't be on the wheel anymore!!!" That's where powersteering comes in. If you're worth a driver's ass you should be able to sreer the car with your weak hand/arm's weakest finger. Switching from LHD to RHD or vice verca. But the fact of the matter is, it's better to change gears with the stronger hand. It offers more control. You simply need to keep your hand on the wheel when you shift gears. There's no need to turn nor swerve whilst changing gears, so there's no need to keep your stronger hand on the wheel. If you can't keep something as simple as a steering wheel straight with your weaker arm then you might as well cut it off.
  19. I've never really done anything bad in school apart from getting into a fight once and the occasional smoking. But i remember a guy in my high school that got caught (along with his girlfriend, of course) for having oral sex behind the rugby field pavilions. That was kinda funny.

What are the older cars like? I'm guessing there aren't that many cars pre 2000 on the roads? In Qatar there aren't any (by that i mean more than 1/100) old cars on the road. There's supposed to be a law that keeps cars older than 10 years off the road, or so i heard once upon a time. But the old cars you see here are like the Toyota Cresida and the Mazda 323 and things like those. I don't really notice the older cars to be honest. And i don't think i've ever seen one of those cars up for sale. It probably would pass the road-worthy test.

IIRC, me and my dad were talking about cars the other day. He mentioned something about Qatar only having 5% income tax on cars. So cars are really stupidly cheap here. I'm not 100% sure but a Dodge Challenger is something like $60 000, Charger is $40 000, Mustangs are $43 000 (more or less). Prices converted from Qatari Riyal ofcourse. To me this is dirt cheap. it's almost like stealing. Reason i say that is because back in South Africa a mustang would set you back $110 000 easily. Challenges and Camaros would go over $130 000. Pre-owned cars here are a joke though. They are almost given away. I remember when my friend bought a pre-owned Lexus (sedan) he paid like a quarter of the retail price and the car was only 6 months old with something like 10 000km on the clock.

Was going to get one, but sadly i got a Camaro instead :\ Huge mistake.
  23. Anyone who plays games would classify as a gamer. Eh, not so much. I am not in the same category as my friends little brother. That guy eats, lives, and breathes video games. They are just more serious gamers. A person who runs the 100m sprint is just as much an athlete as the one that does the sprint, high jump, long jump and hurdles.
  24. Should try driving a left-hand steering after you've driven a right-hand for nearly a year. I remember when i moved to Qatar and had to do my license here after driving in South Africa (without a license) for nearly a year. Kept on trying to reach for the stick against the door. Same thing happened when i went back to SA for a year and had to start driving right-hand steering again.
