Can you name a forum that the staff openly displays their records of 'valuable assets getting banned'? It doesn't happen. BUT you're wrong in that your opinions are asked on a lot of things. This thread is literally asking your opinion on the moderation here at TIF. Do you think many other forums even allow this open discussion? Personal attacks, good job. I can't speak for the staff anymore, but if a priority is creating an environment that most easily allows for the exchange and discussion of ideas, why should they have to justify how they clean things up? You seem to want a democracy. Would you prefer an appeals system similar to the US courts? Where the community elects its staff? Considering such a large amount of the posters here are around thirteen years old, I don't think that's such a great idea. Plain and simply, things have to be run differently here. It's great that you're bringing into discussion alternative ways of running things, but you're suggesting the staff simply airs out everyone's dirty laundry, which frankly, a lot of the time just isn't appropriate for the rest of the community to read. What would be wrong with an age-limited (ofcourse an age limit would be needed. You dont see a 15 year old voting for his government, do you?) vote to elect the ones we think best deserves to be moderating us?

Well i am very sorry, but i am getting rather confused by all the cotradictions today. Firstly you [cabbage] on effiecient players for not sticking to the question asked. Now you want them to not stick to it? What i gather from your post is the following: A: What is best method to train x skill. B(Efficient): XXX Is the best method. c(Troll): No, YYY is best. They both answered the question (one better than the other), but none the less they stuck to what the OP wanted. A method. Now you're asking them to include a reason. Did OP ask for a reason? I think not. Now i ask you with tears in my baby blue eyes. Do you want people to stick to what is asked in a H&A posy or not? Because i can't figure it out. You're banning people for not being able to stick to the question asked. Clearly in the above scenario the OP asked for only a method, not an explination of the method. What i do care about is how it is now. A few weeks ago, heck even a few days ago, things were stulling running (seemingly) fine untill a few butthurt mods started banning people without probable cause. As a community we demanded to see the reasons for our valuable assets getting banned. Clearly this isnt a community "for the people by the people" as it should be, because our opinions are never asked on anything This is a little play house for the mods who got picked on in school for being geeks and now find it fun getting their e-peen on and being e-thugs banning left and right like a blinded soldier trying to shoot down a plane. How do you explain such behavior? Bravo =D> Very few users clearly specify that they do not want the most efficient way to train x skill when posting in H&A which leaves Efficiency Beasts to only assume they are looking for the best (the best being the most efficient). Not answering the question to the best of their abilities ("their" being the efficiency beasts) would show a total lack of respect to the OP by insulting his ability to play the most efficient way. Unless they specify clearly and directly then we can only be left to assume whatever we want. I believe you're misunderstanding what I'm referring to. Perhaps you should read the posts in the thread I linked to, because if you had you should see that several posts, after the OP had noted that he wasn't interested in anything but what he asked, are anything but respectful. It is that kind of posters my quote is directed at. He asked one simple question yet was given an answer to an entirely different question. When he noted he wasn't interested in that, several people felt the need to troll. It is thát kind of "efficiency troll" I am referring to, not the regular efficient player that does act respectful, because they aren't trolls. <_< Like I said, "Better" is usually an opinion with regard to training methods like that. Everyone will agree that rune armour is better than mithril in terms of defence, but when it comes to doing something a way someone finds more fun and may take more time than someone else's preferred method (or the other way around), that does not make one better than the other. You say it's not an issue of respecting someone's view, yet comments like these do make me wonder if you respected the user that wanted to enchant air orbs. Maybe you should be more specific next time before you put all the efficient players under the same blanket by making your post seem like a generalisation.

No sir, I do not think that to be correct. Even using rapier on slash mode, the strength bonus difference is too great while the slash attack difference is only of ~4 or something. OMG i don't even. . . :wall: x 1 000 000 I meant to say Rapier will beat Whip most of the times :oops:

Well firstly when it comes to the Soul Wars cape: They prayer bonus is the only reason for getting it, obviously. Where would you need such a cape? Well to be quite honest the only places i use a Soul Wars cape over my fire cape would be at TDs and DKs. For TDs having the huge prayer bonus is a must as you would not be able to do them efficiently without it. You spend 90% of the time you are there Using atleast 2 prayers at a time, which drains prayer points like you cant imagine. Ardy Cape is a pretty good sub, but nothing beats a SW cape there. As for DKs its the same thing. To enable yourself to kill them most efficiently you need a SW cape. Without one you're going to either have to take less brews and more Prayer Pots (which would put you at risk of not having enough healing) or your trips won't last as long (this applies for Solo Tribrid and Hybrid as you tend to use quite a lot of prayer). But aside from those 2 factors i cannont see any other use for the cape. If you don't do them often, there's really no use in getting them. As for Rapier. Well much can be said about the DPS diffirence between a whip and rapier. All in all a Rapier will beat a Whip most of the times at Bandos. Rapier is a huge step up from whip when dealing with bosses but when it comes to slayer the diffirence isnt that big (not big enough to spend hours upon hours to get a rapier anyway). The only reason i could see for you to get a rapier is if you get serious about bandos, meaning a few trips a week. Sooner or later you;re going to realise that a whip just wont cut it and that your chances of getting crashed improves a lot when using a whip (this would be in a solo situation). If you dont do Bandos as often but more Zammy, then whip is fine. Kills will be the slightest bit slower with a Whip but it wont matter as much as it would at Bandos because no one would crash you at Zammy. Whip is also not bad on DKs and TDs (that's if you ever do them). As for dungeoneering. I know where you're coming from because not too long ago i was there too. I hated DG because it always felt like a rushed skill. Thats one of the reasons i dont do floors with DGS. When i DG i find i enjoy an hour floor a lot more than a enjoy a 25minute floor (although now and then a fast floor is awesome). The reason behind this is that it allows me to take my time which makes the possiblity of messing up so much smaller. It also allows me to enjoy the skill to the max by using all the skills i have. That is just a fool's opinion though.

Goal is to have 500 Solo's of each of the GWD bosses and 2k DKs. So i guess that would be a pretty even spread. So i guess i'll stick to DFS then and get the Arma aswell. Unless anyone else has more usefull information to add, i think i have all the answers i need. Thanks! :thumbup:

Is the diffirence between Karil/Dhide and Armadyl at Arma GWD noticable enough to push my KC up by 4 or 5 kills per trip? Same question goes for Spec vs. DFS. Reason why i'm asking is that i want to start Boss Hunting again next week. I have bought enough scrolls, pouches, potions and runes to last me a few weeks. I have 75m left and a DFS i'm debating on selling. If i sell it I would considder buying a Spectral for Arma/Bandos/Zammy which would leave me with enough to buy Armadyl. But then the problem is that i might not have a usefull shield for DKs (i doubt a Spectral would serve any prupose there). What would your advice be?

Would a Spectral be of any use there? I was thinking of selling my DFS and buying a Spectral (moreso for Arma than anything else) and i was wondering if it would have any use at DKs aswell. I already know that it would work just as well for both Zammy and Solo Bandos (Using BCP over Karil Top in such a case).
