  1. Bought myself 20 seeds this morning. First run i got 3 seeds back and also 3 on the second run then another seed on the last (4th) run. Pretty happy with this :)
  2. Today i did a research project on the affect the lack of education has on the black people in our society in South Africa. Although it was a topic i already knew much about i thought i'd research it and see if i could find something i didn't already know. I have learned more and have had fun researching the topic meaning it was time very well spent. Shall i post my finding too? 3/10 to the OP. First off, most people over age 10 already know this. Second, why get so pissy when your joke-of-a-post-and-quite-frankly-a-waste-of-your-own-time thread gets trolled? Who's 12 now bro? And thirdly. . . 3 points for grammar.
  3. You are pretty much screwed. All decent money makers require a semi decent connection. The less lagg the better, duh. Seeing as you can't do tds due to lagg, or maybe even any other boss you are stuck with few options. Your options will be either Barrows (kinda hard to die there even with lagg, unless you're unlucky enough to lagg at DH and somehow manage to run out of prayer), Farming (althought this is has become a mediocre money maker), Frosts (but i'm sure by now you are sick of them) or Slayer (by this i mean, hope and pray for some of the "new" drops). Flipping would also be great.
  4. Hmmm reminds me of something Bladewing once said. Something about idiots complaing about a game when they're on the fansite :-k
  5. what do you mean? they have way more subscribers now. Many of them are botters, though. Yeah and we all know bots don't pay for their subscriptions
  6. Might want to edit it anyway. You know how butthurt some of the people on TIF are.
  7. 99s on the way. Need to sell the Dhide Bodies and Addy Plates then rebuy Bars and Hides a few times but it will eventually get me to 99 without having to spend any additional money on Smithing and Crafting. Fletching is the only one i might still have to poor some money in. All depends on the market. Actually what i would like is to make a quick 20m so i can do the rest of the Fletching via Broad arrows or something.
  8. Got one last night on a Sara Solo. I was madbro.
  9. Addy Bolts are pretty good. About 670k Exp/H at a relaxed pace and if you can handle the grind its upto 840k exp/h but you'd need a steel wrist for that.
  10. LOL. You sir, are a smart one.

Well my house only has uhhh i think 7 Rooms. North of portal = Chapel. South of Portal = Glory Teleport which has a East entrance to Costume Room. West of Portal = Menagerie which has a North and South entrace both to Partal Rooms. East of Portal = Workshop. Really don't need anything else. This layout is effiecient and covers all your bases. You could maybe throw in a Study to the west of the Menagerie if you do Stars, but that's about it. Ofcourse you're going to have to add 2 bedrooms to this layout which can both be places on either sides of the study (should you choose to add one) or to the west of the Menagerie (should you not add a study). None of the other rooms are really needed and they just add unneeded cost to your house.

I wouldnt suggest the Pray Mage method without at least a Elys. Went there earlier myself with Bandos, Dfs, Rapier, etc. and you still get hit a lot. I think i managed to get 6 kills before i had to tele out where i could usually get 17 - 20 with Elysian. Fair enough i might have just had a bad run of luck, but i doubt it could have been that bad to bring my KC down by ~11 kills.

Which would take away my Claw Spec (which usually deals more than 60% of the damage/kill)

    Alright thanks then :)

Just a question, what is she weakest to? Stab/Slash/Crush? I've heard people say stab and i've heard people say slash but i've tired a few kills with each (and i know "a few kills" isnt a large enough sample size) but i couldnt see much an diffirence really.

Oh God no. Hit and Run Melee would be the dumbest thing possible. I do the "Wall Walk"? method. I dont know what its called.
  17. Noxx replied to Noxx's topic in Help and Advice
Well i meant Zill is more about the Damage per Hit as aposed to the Damage per Second done to her/ Seeing as you only hit once every 2-3 second. Bandos + DFS does fine, even Bandos + D Def does fine, but it doesn't do great. The question was would a BGS be a better option than a Rapier+D Def, nothing about the rest of the gear. My gear is doing alright for now. I'm not doing it for the reqard but rather for the fun, because lets face it Zill is one of the most fun to Solo.

Okay so i'm getting kinda into Soloing Zill atm. I manage to get a good 9 kills per trips but i feel like i can do better. Current setup is: BCP Tassets D Boots Fury Barrows Gloves Zerker (i) Rapier D Def/DFS Claws for Specs. Seeing as Zill has amazingly high def i find myself hitting way too many 0s. Also When you Melee Solo i think its more about DPH rather than DPS so i guess the best thing to use there would be a Chaotic Maul. But i really cannot be bothered to get a Maul at this stage so would something like a BGS + Claw spec be better than a Rapier+D Def combo?
  19. he's actually not that good at hybriding, unfortunately :S ^
  20. OP you are a [bleep]ing moron. /tread
  21. Honestly Grog, if you don't enjoy Dungeoneering there is no sense in you doing it. Especially not for as long as 2m Exp. Because lets face it, chences are you;re going to get bored of it after the first 500k (maybe if you're lucky 1m) exp and go back to Slayer anyway or do something else. So although againt the stream, here is what i would do: Continue Slaying as you have. You're doing fine with a whip now (as did 10 000 people before the Chaotics were released). Do Dungeoneering now and then, when you feel like it. No sense in grinding a skill you really don't enjoy. Chances are you're going to get better at Dungeoneering and find the fun in it which will eventually lead to a Chaotic. So rather let it takes a natural course instead of forcing it. As for your Melee/Magic/Ranged goals. 99 Slayer is still a long way to go. Although argued that Slayer is bad exp, i will still say that its good. Not the best, but not bad either. Stick to Slayer for your Combat levels. Mage your Steel/Iron Dragon tasks (and Ice Wyrms once you get to 93 Slayer) and Melee the rest (could chin Nechs, but thats up to you). Once you get 99 Def/Str start Range Slaying. Although a lot slower than Melee, it's still going to save you time in the long run as you are still working on 2 goals at once. Besides that Ranging with Knives is pretty speady exp. I have no doubt that you will get 99 Slayer way before 99 Magic because you wont get near enough mage-able tasks to get you that ammount of exp. Prayer is almost a no brainer here. Although annoying without a Yak, banking your D Bones from dragon tasks is already a start towards banking 99 Prayer. Same goes for ashes. Rather than urning them, sometimes banking them (then sell them and buy D Bones with the money) could better, although only really with Black Demons in Tavelry (assuming that's where your house is) or Abyssals in Kura's seeing as banking and getting back would take 2 minutes tops. Doing the odd GWD trip also helps towards that. For 99 Herblore, seeing as its a #1, theres really no other way to get it faster than by just doing GWD/TDs for the money. Although i know you want the 99, i would also strongly suggest 95 Prayer before that as it would have a much bigger benifit. When it comes to Magic and Summoning. If you don't already have 99 Summoning by the time you hit 99 Slayer then barraging would be a friend for sure. If you already have 99 Summoning then other methods like Plank Make would be good. I know that this isnt the most efficient way of doing things but sometimes efficient =/= fun.
  22. I'm not telling people how to play but really, though afking is a non-enforced rule, it's poor judgment for the community to accept it as something you should do. Again, afking is against the rules, thus as you have to be at your keyboard the whole time, the two methods only differ in clicking intensity, with one taking twice the time for little gain of money. Usually AFK implies that they will be doing x skill while watching tv/doing homework/surfing the web/etc whilst still being being the keyboard. This, as far as i know, is not against the rules. So there is a big diffirence between AFK skilling and Botting. I don't see how it's poor judgement for the community to accept it as something you should do? No one has said it should be done. It has been said many times though that it could be done, to make things a bit "easier".
  23. To both Bladewing and Ring_World, i can't really agree more with you the two of you. Although a 20 Hour limit would be the best thing that could ever happen to certain players, to people like me it would be all hell on earth. I play about a minimum of 25 hours a week. Why? Because i have the time. My job is a joke and my studies are done through corospondence. I find myself waking up in the morning, doing my 4 or 5 hours of studying, i go to work if im needed and then the rest of the day i play RS. I still go out with my friends whenever they want to (and none of them play Runescape so clearly it doesnt interfere) and i still get decent grades when it comes to exams. I spend more than enough time with my family and i still watch the rugby with my dad every weekend. I don't see why i should suffer under a 20 Hour limit because someone else failed to manage his time. But then again i look at when i first started playing RS at age 16. My time management was nothing what it is today. So i kind of get where the OP is coming from. But i don't see why i should cut down from a six-pack to 1 beer a day just because he's a lightweight that can't handle his drink.
  24. Because, believe it or not, for some people it is. I think that they should maybe manage themselves? If they are over 18... If they are under 18 maybe JUST MAYBE the parents should do something about it? Self control has no age limit. And good parenting isn'something that happens the moment a child is born. Some people will always have a problem controlling themselves no matter what. Some people will always need to be told what to do. People have diffirent personalities. We do not all have the privilage to gow up in a good structured home with caring parents who help you onto the right path when we struggle. Saying what you just said kind of makes you sound both ignorant and uninformed :-? Internet can be a real addiction just like any drug. Have you ever seen someone addicted to heroin say "Oh hey! Maybe i should manage myself a bit and just put this needle down and not use heroin anymore"? Because i honestly haven't. They need help. And so do many who are addicted to the internet/RS.
  25. Because, believe it or not, for some people it is.
