Noxx

Hi guys. I want to start Nexing in a week or two (probably a few days after BXP Weekend). By that time i'll have a Chaotic Crossbow + Rapier. At the moment i have Elite Void + DFS, Onyx (i) (Zerker (i) and Archer (i) too, but i assume Onyx (i) might be a bit better?). I also have all the other usuall stuff like Fury, Dragon/Ranger Boots, Claws, Yak, Turmoil and Overloads. I'm sure all these things are perfect for Nex aside from Rapier and DFS. Will i be able to get into a team (i'd prefer it to be with a TIF group as RSOF teams might find it funny to not split the loot) with a DFS + Rapier? I've seen quite a few Screen Shots of people Nexing with a DFS but i've also heard a few people saying that DFS isn't a great option. Would i be wasting my time trying to get into a team with a Rapier + DFS or should i wait for a Maul + EEKS? (I would like to use an Elysian or Divine, but my funds don't allow that yet). Proof that Jagex should read this stuff a LITTLE more thoroughly.... Or just apply some common sense, at least.

Dat 100k hilt split. Actually, they're probably using LS, but that's still just as pointless. One person gets the drop and everyone else gets such pitiful LSP that it makes no difference at all. People dont go to LS Masses to gain exp, they go there to use it :roll:

Ive only got the 91 RC task left to do. Now i know with the RC Udpate we had like 2 years ago its possible to craft multiple runes before 91. Question is, will it be at all possible to craft the required 56 with a level of 82? Or if i can pot (stew) upto about 86, will it then be possible? Or is the lowest level i can do it at still 86?

Bought this about 3 weeks ago. My plan was to get 90 - 95, sell the Bodies, rebuy supplies for 97, and repeat till 99. I never got round to using them becuase i wanted to get 90 Smithing and Fletching first then work my way to 99 Smithing, Crafting, Fletching and Firemaking all at together. Then came the notice Bonus Exp Weekend. If my calculation are correct, the hides should be enough to get me to 98 Crafting now, assuming i can focus for 10hours.

For Ranged, a friend of mine confirmed getting 420k exp/h Chinning. No idea on how reliable this is. For Melee (Def) i've gained just over 135k/h with Void/Salve(e)/Overloads/Turmoil at AZ's so 150k+ on Ape sounds on par. Constitution should be about 127k exp/h assuming the Ranged is correct.

I really dont get how people can be this stupid. They end up paying 5 times the price they would have paid on a normal day just to get the exp a bit faster. IMO exp weekends are best spent doing non buyable skills.

Kinda sucks. Messes up the plans i had to get 99 Craft, Smith and Fletch over the next 3 weeks. Just my luck. Guess i'll try sell the supplies i had for 300% profit and buy them back a week or so after the BXP Weekend at the same price i bought them for the first time :P

Yeah i took the time forming teams into account but that shouldnt really apply to the figures seeing as i can skill while waiting for the team to form. So in reality its not going to count towards DG time but rather [insert skill here] time.

Yeah when i calculate things like this i always try to go on the bare minimum. It gives me a more realistic time frame. I am going to try do rushes with a team and do as many of my floors as i can with DGS (which would give me more or less 40minutes per floor).

Hi Guys. I've been meaning to get a CCBow for a while now and after losing my Rapier today i just doubled the workload. I thought that this would give me the motivation needed to get 99 Dungeoneering (seeing as i wanted to get Maul, Staff and CKS anyway). The tokens i get from 81 - 99 should cover that and i should have a few tokens left to spare. Anyway, i'll be starting Dungeoneering again as early as next week and i would like to know if what i have come up with looks more or less correct. I will always rush all of my floors but the top 7, which ofcourse i'll do as larges. -Assuming on average i do 38 rushes/reset @ 600 exp each it will give me 22k exp and take about 2 hours. -Then 7 larges @ ~75k exp each will give me about 525k exp and take about 5 hours (@ ~40 minutes per floor). -This all comes down to an average of 78k exp/h. -I need more or less 10.7m exp for 99 Dungeoneering which would mean a total of 137 hours. Now what i need to know is if an avg of 78k exp is too high? Or is it too low? Already i get about 65k exp on a good floor so i imagine at 90 Dungeoneering 80k per floor is doable? And at 95 i can be looking at 85k+? Anyway does this seem right at all? I'm just concerned about how many hours i'll spend getting to 99. Thanks in advance.

Ans well. . . long story short im not 200k richer but my bank is missing a rapier. I don't get it, wasn't this AGS guy a friend? edit: oh they were, but his friend was too stupid to realise fury protects over rapier. Not nice to lose items due to a friend's mistake :( No no, i doubt that. "I'm risking rapier :\" should have given him the idea that i was well, risking my rapier. I just thought he was going to take a few swings at me, then back off. Yay you had your fun, now we can stop. Then he pulled out claws and i was kissing floor. Edit: I basically backed off after i red barred him and thought to myself "oh [cabbage], i don't want to kill the guy".

I'm not one to usually care about efficiency but when it comes to something like Smithing i'd like the best Exp Rate i can get. At the moment i am 86 Smithing headed for 99. I'm currently doing Mithril Platebodies and will switch to Adamant once 88 is reached. I've timed myself many times since i started Smithing and it seems that i can only manage about 650 Platebodies per hour (which is about 160k exp per hour with Mithril). Now according to hearsay i should be getting about 210k exp on average (this being without any mousekeys or beeing too intense). Ive also seen that with Adamant i should be getting around 300k Exp per hour. At my current pace i'll be getting about 210k exp per hour with Adamant where i should be getting close to 280k if not 300k. I'm smithing in Varrock using Varrock Armour 4. I'm not using any familiar. I also use the anvil closest to the door obviously because it shortens my trip to the bank. Now, with that being said, i can't really think of anything that will inprove my exp rate. So where am i going wrong?
