Fishing: Not counting cutting/sweets method as i'm sure for the vast majority of people, they wouldn't do that. Even fast drop or alc may be too much to consider. Something more practical like - Granite Lob + Urns + Full Invent dropping is probably the most common method that people would use I guess. That figure for Hunter sounds extremely high, especially for well under 99. Zamorak favour pots only add 10% XP & I do not think without them that Draconic/Common Jadinko method is in excess of 300k? Also the final figure should include the time it takes to get the zamorak favour pots as you cannot obtain the XP rate without them. Much like Overloads without extremes. Runecrafting - ZMI is 60k p/h @ say 1 minute 10 per lap - I think that's around the standard pace without using mousekeys probably. I will assume people have a full bank though - not sure if familiar is used nowadays. Not going to consider ess running as that still seems too impractical for the majority of players, 1100 XP per lap sound right? Also I have not counted Urns for Mining - But will assume you use JuJu pots since the secondaries are draconics these take no real additional time to get.(Since it's assumed you would train hunter on draconics) @Noxx I haven't considered Sawmill as I heard it was 100-110k and Urns do not effect it. Also I can't see many people opting for 10% more woodcut xp per hr over sacrificing Firemaking XP (which not many people enjoy) & I believe anyone doing Woodcutting long term would do Ivy due to the ease. Think many people are putt off by the sawmill due to lack of knowlegde. Not a lot of people realise how fast it really is. But yes, right when you say most people will do Ivy due to the easy.

Practical, non-mousekey dependant methods lol that a vast majority of the playerbase can achieve. With Lumberjack & Urns, would that not put Teak XP close to 100k? Since at teaks you drop or alc the logs, bringing Urns shouldn't be a problem - also very quick to bank using Tai bwo scrolls. I am also assuming with Mining that you bank the Ore rather than drop it or superheat it, otherwise 70k? is possible Yeah ignore my comment on teaks :wall: I bank my logs thats why i only get ~70k. I'm sure with urns close to 100k is possible now. Also i didnt see Sawmill mentioned? I think thats still best WC exp in the game at over 100k exp/h?

I'd put Adamant Platebodies up to about 260k (maybe 270k) an hour, ZMI upto 60k (i'm a rather slow RC'er and i have no trouble getting that). IIRC I get about 270k/h doing Blue Dhide bodies at a casual pace. The Teaks rate seems a bit off. I was always under the impression its about 70k Woodcutting exp + 35k Fm. 100k Exp/h seems a bit off.

Seeing as the drop tables have had a few changes i am really starting to think i should try it out. Thing is though i have no idea what setup i would have to use. Ive read a few posts about people saying Void + Ely/Div and CCBow but i realise that would be the best gear possible (aside from pernix). I have Void Elite, DFS, Ranger Boots, Claws, Fury and a Rapier. I am yet to get a CCBow. Now my questions are as follows: 1.) Is a CCBow an abolute MUST HAVE? Will i be able to get into a decent (sized) team with a Rune xBow? 2.) Will a DFS be good enough? Or should i not even bother with Nex till i am able to rebuy an Elysian at least? Or will something like an EEKS also be good enough (keep in mind that i am not all that fond of DG, but if i will benifit from getting another 400k Tokens i would not mind). 3.) If i am able to get into a team, would the *invo* (edit) be like that of normal MHing? Feel free to cover anything i might have missed.

Look at it this way. You're not going to be able to spend more than about 2 hours at a time doing Con. It gets really boring, really fast (unless you splitscreen and watch movies, which still gets boring after a while). Anyway, for me it was never about time nor cost but rather sanity. I wanted 99 Con but i wanted my sanity more. What i did was do Con for as long as i could (usually this would be for about the duration of 2 good movies) then i'd move onto some SC fr a while, get some hammers and back i would go to Con. Sure, at the end of the day i only ended up getting 5 - 7 hammer at a time which is only about 250k - 300k worth of hammers but it did speed up the actuall Con training and it did lower the cost (even though i could have made the money much faster doing something else). You won't always be in the mood for Frosts, i'm sure of that. So you might aswell throw in a few SC games here and there.

Fletch some Broad bolt while Slaying. Takes a bit more focus but it ends up in decent profit.

Okay so i'll try out Black Demons then. I guess i could get a few urns and get some free Prayer Exp while im there, although i'm not too keen on getting 96 prayer any time soon. Any idea how many effigies i can expect with 50k C'balls?

Not too worries about charms. I have charms for well over 17m exp atm so yeah :P.

I'm not really keen on doing Cave Crawlers. They're pretty depressing. Is it possible to bank all the Ashes at Black Demons without using Summoning pots? Aslo i'll be using Brim Resource Dungeon for Steel Titans. That is possible, right?

Well i've been skilling my ass off for just about 2 weeks now. No combat at all. Atleast i think it's been 2 weeks. Anyhow, i thought i might switch to something a bit more fun every now and then to break the boredom of skilling. As i already have 99 Slayer i really don't feel like doing that. I want to do something i can benifit from. This leads be to Cannoning for effigies. I have 2 options on the table. Black Demons or Steel Dragons. I thought i would start out with 50k Cannonballs which should last me a while. I am assuming Steel Dragons will give me a hell of a lot more effigies. Am i correct in assuming this? How many effigies can i expect with 50k cannonballs? If i decide to keep the bones to later use them for prayer, would the other drops cover the cost? (although if i get a decent amount of effigies i am not too worried about the cost). I assume Bandos, Rapier, D Def, Verac, Neit Helm, Fire Cape + Turm + Overloads would be the fastest? Should i bother with Super Prayers or would normal Prayer Pots be alright? Any other advice you guys can offer me?

Yep. Having a yak will make your money-making a lot easier, thus making 95 Prayer/96 Herblore easier/faster to reach.

I can't offer much advice appart from telling you not to spend it on a buyable skill. Money is easy enough to make these days. There are plenty of fun, easy wasy to make a ton of cash. If i were you i'd spend it on something thats slow in training rather than costly.

No. . . just no. 90 Ranged is more than good enough. 93 Herblore is more than good enough. You have access to any potion in the game as it is so i see no point is raising your stats, at all. Forgot to ask, but you are using Diamond (e) right?

Wait... you have 90 Ranged. I assume you are using Ranged? Well last time i did Jad (about 10 - 13 days ago) i had no trouble at all. Felt pretty much the same as it did before the update, maybe even easier now because you soak up some of that lovely damage when you mess up with Prayer Switching. Anyhow. To get back on topic. Jad's healers can't heal him when they are not within melee range of him (or maybe not exactly melee range but within 3 - 4 squares atleast). This would mean that what you need to do is atack all of them once just to get them on you. Yes, one or two of them might be stuck behind Jad, this is why you run from left to right to "untrap" them. Once you have all four of them on you take 5 or 6 steps backwards making sure you're as far away from Jad without losing sight of him (this is key as you need to see which attack he is using). Then just focus on Jad. With 97 Defense you shouldnt have to worry about them getting you lower than 600lp. I don't know if you've done Seers Elite yet, but the Bolt Spec ability you get is pretty handy on Jad.

Finding an FFA anywhere shouldnt be too hard. There should be plenty people keen on going. Your best option would be to browse the RSOF, look around and see if anyone is going/has a regular team. If not, why not make your own? Post a time/day/date (might also be smart to include the timezone). See if theres any interrest. As for the gear. I'm going totally on hearsay which i wouldnt normally do but seeing as you;ve had no other replies i guess mine might be as good as it gets. I've heard that yes, void is the best there. Seeing as you pray mage the whole time youre in there, Div > Ely > CKS (Perhaps) would be best. Take your usuall MHing setup but include 3 or 4 more spec restores than you usually would. Afterall FFA is a spec fest. Also, you might want to take maul with you too, pop in a big hit every now and then after a spec or before a spec. I know its not much, but i guess its better than nothing.

Healing is more important on slayer tasks than while 2.5briding? ... okay. Never mentioned 2.5 bridding. .............okay.

If doing Slayer with Overloads, eee is probably the best spec weapon. Its stupid wasting Prayer Points flashing SS if you could just 1click a Spec Bar and watch yourself heal. Using anything else for a Spec weapon is pretty stupid for the avg slayer task. I mean really, Claws? That gets you what, like 3 kills more p/h? At DKs and TDs though i'd stick with Claws as its easy enough to SS your way back to full LP and there high hitting specs are almost a must have.

Yeah sorry if that causes any confusion. The afk fishing is when i study, the heavy rod fishing is in the evenings when i dont :P

I use normal bait. I just drop the fish, reclick. Cutting the fish doesnt give any added exp right? And yeah i started using Granite Lobsters which pushed my exp up by a bit. Im up to about 53k exp/h using Lobster + Urns. Still a long ay off what it should be :\ Maybe its just some practice? Wouls alchng the fish me faster that dropping?

Ive been doing that. It takes me about 13 mins to fill up an urn, so tthats about 8.5k exp/h more. i should be able to get close to 75k exp/h with both Barb Fishing + urns yet im still not getting near that.
