Well i'm getting to the point where money is starting to become almost useless to me. I'm days away from maxing my buyables afterwhich the only things to spend money on would be armour and supplies for MHing. I've been having thoughts about buying a Nex Armour piece simply for the healing ability as this should have an impact on trip lenghts and such. The problem is, at the moment i have 103m. I should have about 120m after selling the left over supplies i have in a day or two. The only item i would be close to is a Virtus mask. Now this is where i find myself unsure about what to do. My main use for it would most likely be DKs. I can't see myself using a Virtus Mask ofer say, a Verac/Neit helm at Bandos/TDs even if the healing is improved. Now with my current setup i have the following (this is using a Verac Helm): Stab Attack: 122 (when Rapier is equiped) Magic Attack: -8 (when SoL is equiped) Melee Defense: ~350 Maguc Defense: 40/57 (Rapier/SoL) Ranged Defense: ~390 Now if i exchange the Verac Helm for a Virtus Mask it doesnt affect me Melee Attack but it does bring my Mage Attack up to 7. Bot my Melee and Ranged Defence take a -50 plunge though. So the question would be: If i were to buy a Virtus Mask and replace it with a Verac Helm, would the extra healing make up for the Defense loss? Would i get more out of it? Would i ever be able to use it anywhere else without looking like an idiot who just happened to stumble upon a Nex item? (somehwere such as Sara/Bandos/Zammy/Arma solo?) I would, ofcourse, upgrade to more usefull Nex items as time goes by. Thoughts on this?

Why exacty do they deserve it? I understand that sometimes people say stupid things that make you shake your head and wonder how they even manage to dress themselves in the morning, but we must remember that this is the internet and people from all ages and nations use it. Sometimes it's harder for a foreigner to translate something into english, than you might think. I still struggle with this myself, often too. Also there is the fact that player experience differs. Obviously someone that's either new to the game or new to the forums might ask/say something stupid, but i'm sure your first thoughts were not the smartest either? As for trolling and such. I've seen a lot of trolling, from member i'd rather not mention, that kind of annoys me. People saying "do it this way or gtfo! this is the best way and if you dont do it this way [bleep] you!" or "buy this item, its the best. if you dont then [bleep] you!" It's like as soon as "these players" gain some wealth and some decent levels they forget that they too were low levels once upon a time.I admit that i have done my fair bit of trolling, but i really would like to see Mods get a bit more strict when it comes to that. I'm not saying ban the person when says something mean or harsh, but atleast give them warning or a temp ban. Not too long ago two users at to basically BEG a mod on the General Pics/Vids thread before they got a temp ban (if they even did). That to me just shows a complete and utter lack of moderation. TIF has always been a community i have enjoyed being a part of due to the helpfull people we have and it really is a pitty when you see people leaving mainly because of bad moderation or when someone gets banned due to a MOD being on a powertrip. Anyway i think a decent job is being done over all. Some things can be changed, but other things are perfect :thumbup:

That wouldnt really make much of diffirence to my Kill/Hour would it? As it is i've had 85, 82 and 84 kills in the 3 hour trips ive done.

several reasons why this setup is bad / not relevant to the OP; -- Zerker(i)>Vigour(i)>onyx(i)>dstone(i) if not using a wealth. -- you can actually go near foodless (2-3 brews) with a divine if you are SS flashing. -- Ely is actually better than div at dks -- you should be using a BCP. -- you should be going for 7 or 8 ovls. -- you should not ice barrage. there's a lure spot for fire surge on the west side that is extremely fast. -- you should bring an amulet of fury. I notic you mention Luring, again. But is it really better? I mean it takes you a few seconds to lure and once you've lured Rex you can't move untill he's dead. The problem i have with this is that i hardly ever found myself at a time where only 1 DK would be alive. Like i mentioned earlier, Prime and Rex would always be alive at the same time. So by luring Rex i miss out on the cchance of killing Prime faster because i can't refill the cannon.

Prayer was actually no issue, funny enough. I had Turmoil on like 60% of the time along with one of the 3 Protection Prayers. I barely ever used Soul Split ( i would use Blood Barrage here and there if my LP dropped below 600 or so). I left after an hour with about 2 Brews left and IIRC 3 Super Restores.

Yeah well now you know how he got the 96 Fishing, 90 Agility, etc. needed ;P

So finally the 99s seam near. To my delight i found out that Smithing fell to about 6gp/exp doing Addy Plates and Crafting fell to about 12gp/exp using Blue Bodies. Will get quite a bit of money back after selling the supplies i used :)

Thought about it once or twice but i really can't see myself enjoying, lets say 99 Construction, knowing that i used dishonest methods to achieve it. Same goes for RWT. If i really wanted to i could very easily buy myself 10b gp but once again i would not enjoy using the money if i know it was gained dishonestly. Cheating has always been something i've been against.

By the time the steel titan touches the Minion Graar would already be dead, in a 6 man. So you won't get any more kills. You might get double the amount of kills a Duo team gets/h but now that youre in a 6man it makes your profit a lot less. Bad idea.

Funny, when i got back from that trip i thought to myslelf that i wouldn't take a Range weapon next time i go, as i used it ,at most, 4 times during the entire previous trip. And by the time i actually took the second shot the next DK would pop up and i'd have to switch back. Thanks for clearing that up though. Also when it comes to luring. I find that this slows me down a lot. Usually Rex and Prime are spawned at the same time. Either that or they would spawn seconds after the other. This means that if i chose to lure Rex i would give up the chance of replacing cannonballs when the cannon runs out, which ulimatly makes me kill Prime slower. This puts me at more risk when Supreme spawns cause i'd be praying make (still waiting for Prime to die) while taking hits from Supreme, who hits quite accurate sometimes. As for the rings. Would a Wealth really "up my profits" enough to take it over an offensive+defensive bonus?

First time ever doing 2.5 DKs. Much more intense but i think i did well. Was exactly an hour long trip. Doubt i'll take Ranged gear with me next time. Cannon takes care of it well enough on fast spawn worlds.

Lol i hope you're trolling. Nope, Grimy is brilliant. He knows more about Runescape then just about anyone. He is extremely helpful and open to helping people he might not know well. On top of that he is actually a good player, especially in PvE. I'm sorry but the i don't find someone who forces their opinions on someone "a good player". I don't find someone who makes a job of a game "a good player". I don't find someone who can't accept that he might sometimes be wrong "a good player". I find that laugh worthy. Believe it or not, people like woox16 are the "good players". Those who are willing to risk millions in items for the sake of entertaining other players. Not someone that sits behind the laptop with a calculator all day waiting for an opertunity to prove someone wrong. That's just being the biggest douche in the game. You obviously don't know him very well. If you think the best player is the one who entertains you the most it just shows how egocentric you are. I wouldn't expect you to appreciate the value of a player who puts hundreds of hours into finding the best ways to play the game and then sharing that knowledge openly.
