Rune platebody and a nice supply of food...or a bag of some salt. Decisions, decisions! They probably want to make it an "investment" and I kind of understand where they are coming from with the price but it's some sort of attempt to squeeze GP from players who don't have a whole lot to spare at those levels. Maybe make it tiered costs with Slayer level or something.

Welcome to TIF, and nice avatar :P. Higher level skills help, but low level Slayer is generally a good way to start with moneymaking. You can also kill dragons, tan dragonhides, make cannonballs, or charge orbs. At higher levels you unlock better Slayer monsters like Skeletal Wyverns. You can also do herb runs, set up Nightmare Zone and collect your daily herb boxes as a reward from doing that.

C1 doesn't help horribly much on lower floors because you still have to fight a boss, which often consumes time or a good bulk of the time you would normally spend completing the floor. You could bring a level 3 friend along and set it to difficulty for one person - which would make all the monsters one-hittable (minus boss) and speed things up I suppose. I did C6 runs straight through whenever I did DG but that was F2P and there is a cap of F35 there, so proportionally it might make more sense to C1 if you have more floors unlocked (like at your level). Up to your preference really.

That would be cute I guess but those were sort of superseded by Portable Ranges anyway :P.

The Fremennik armours are good (skeletal, rock shell, spined) level 50 power armour when you get there...for Ranged, you could kill cockroaches and make carapace armour (30) and for magic spider silk (20) would be a step up. Horvik's armour shop in Varrock will sell you platebodies up to mithril. Louie's armoured legs shop in Al Kharid sells up to adamant platelegs. Peska's helmet show sells helms up to adamant full. You can buy a 2H up to adamant in Gaius's shop (Burthorpe). What exactly are your levels currently?
