  1. 21,665. Was away for a week with really shoddy internet...luckily at least, it seems that it was the connection and not something wrong with my computer.
  2. You should probably save hydrix for last as the effect is small in comparison to upgrading armor pieces/whole set and it is comparable in cost. You could do Death's soul reaper tasks in the meantime and earn points, and earn/make your own hydrix from there. Sirenic is I believe the best dps armor in the game (for ranged). That and dbane is the nominally the fastest at QBD, though it's more expensive than using say zamorak armor, which is lower stats but does not degrade. For magic armor you could upgrade it to subjugation/virtus/seren based on what you need, which provides a bit better protection. I think the most effective improvement would be a noxious staff/scythe once you have the money for it though.
  3. So is it just 3 ranges (0-24%, 25%-99%, 100%+) or are there additional chances beyond that, i.e. any point in going higher than 100% save bragging rights?

  5. Telos – RuneScape’s Toughest Boss | Manticore Weapons | Telos Contest Once more unto the breach, boss fighters! Head into God Wars Dungeon 2 to battle a tough new boss with a unique reward system where the more you risk, the richer the plunder! Read on to discover the fantastic manticore weapons in Solomon’s Store, an amazing competition for the greatest Telos slayers to win some awesome prizes (including 6 month membership packages), and all the usual patch notes, streaming info and other news. New Boss - TelosIt turns out that messing with the anima in the Heart of Gielinor was not a good idea at all. Telos has awoken. This towering new boss exists to purge the entire planet of life when the precious anima resource is threatened. Take him on in a new multi-phase fight where the more you risk, the greater your rewards. Some of the highest-level gear that can be won includes: Three tier 92 two-handed god weapons with unique special attacks - Seren Godbow, Staff of Sliske and the long-awaited Zaros Godsword.Reprisal – a Zamorak-themed ability that is available to all combat styles, requires 85 Constitution and is tradeable if you don’t wish to use it. It’s a threshold ability which causes you to store any damage you take for the next 6 seconds. You will still take this damage, but will then deal it straight back to your target!A new Boss PetHow to startIn order to begin the boss fight, you must obtain 4 sigil fragments by defeating each God Wars Dungeon 2 general, then combine them to make the complete sigil. Use it on the new door that has appeared inside a great tree of crystal and anima near the dungeon’s entrance. Then, get ready for the fight of your life – be sure to come skilled up and kitted out with your very best gear. Enrage and Reward SystemPrevail, and you’ll be presented with a reward wheel loaded with your potential rewards. At this point you can spin the wheel, take your hard-won rewards and leave. Alternatively, you can risk it all and face Telos again at a higher difficulty (enrage) level for the chance of even better rewards. Remember - if you die at any point during a Telos fight, or teleport away while the fight is in progress, you will lose all of your rewards and reset your kill count. You will be able to bank and resupply after each successful Telos kill. You will even be able to log out or play other RuneScape content as your Telos progress will be saved until you return to his arena. However, you must eventually decide whether you have the skill and resources for another run or whether you’re best off taking your current level of prizes and moving on! You can collect your rewards at any stage by returning to the outside of Telos’s arena and interacting with the font. Additionally, the enrage level of Telos is yours to set as you see fit, up to the highest level that you have been able to reach. 6. Try pack yak pouches - they're reliably high volume, relatively cheap, and zero junk chance. If you want to save gp bull ant, ravenous locust, and arctic bear pouches are cheaper but you may have to wait a while for the offer to fill. For enhancing components you can do jewellery (for example diamond amulets) or food, though food has a much lower chance of providing enhancing components.
  7. Aside from Pvm and flipping, most things are relatively slow at making money. For that it is greatly beneficial to have overloads, yak, higher level prayer/curses. I think you would probably be best served doing slayer tasks to get all your combat skills sans prayer/summoning to 99 and save up some money doing that. Or if you prefer, train afk at hellhounds or kill waterfiends to get a start on charms that you will ultimately need for summoning levels. After that you can probably kill most of the lower level bosses more effectively and go from there as you make more cash. Even with your current stats you could probably do alright at Graardor, but an SGS might extend your trips a bit. You can also do herb runs (farming), the vis wax daily in the runecrafting guild, buying items like broad arrowheads from shops, etc., but those are rather limited and are more to get started than to gain any huge amount of profit.
  8. When you augment an item the degradable part becomes irrelevant; they all just use charges. If you ever unaugment it it returns to a broken form. That table is out of date actually - the correct figures are something like 400k for a level 70 weapon and 600k for a level 90 (disassembling at level 10/siphoning at level 12). This was changed after a few weeks and I guess their page wasn't updated.
  9. Thank you for your thorough reply Regarding my question #4 then your assumption is correct - your answer was not what I wanted to hear ! as I haven't done any of those quests (and probably won't as I'm no good when it comes to boss fighting :( ) - I would have intended to use my augmented Saradomin Godsword for my slayer assignments, however, as a Saradomin is about +11m gp then it not viable for me, however, maybe a dragon 2h is (currently: 143,767gp ) You could still use try one of the barrows weapons I mentioned then? You could always put on your sgs to do its special and restore health, then switch back as needed.
  10. 1. With the augmented black salamander in your inventory, drag it down to the icon of your invention pouch at the bottom of your inventory. A confirmation prompt will appear, telling you that your item will be destroyed and some other information. Accept it and you will disassemble it, awarding you invention xp and some parts. 2. I'm not sure if you can use it at level 5, but there is an equipment siphon to siphon off the xp and keep the item, resetting it to level 0 in the process. You won't get very much xp though, so it's I would recommend you just destroy cheap weapons (like the salamander) until you unlock the upgrade to go up to level 15, and then siphon at 12 each time. Siphoning will be half the training speed of disassembling and use up more charge in the process. 3. You lose the gizmo when you destroy the item. At higher levels you can unlock an item to destroy the item and retain the gizmo, but receive no invention xp. At low level invention there's probably no reason to cannibalize your item. 4. Assuming you mean 2h melee weapons, there is Balmung (requires Blood Runs Deep, 300k), Akraise's war mace, Verac's flail, Torag's hammers (100k/140k/150k), or an upgraded sunspear (600k, requires River of Blood). I'm not sure how many quests you've done but hopefully one of those will work out for you.

    Today...

It's kind of irrelevant though and a knee-jerk reaction (at least for now). Looking up a chart indicates that Monday-Thursday it rose the same amount as the final loss for today. One day stock corrections make a lot of headlines but you need a longer time frame to draw any meaningful conclusions and it will depend on whatever decisions the leadership makes going forward.

    Today...

Fair point. Though the more I read about it, the more it seems like 52% just voted for a lot of short-and long-term uncertainty because... immigrants or something? What was the leave side arguing for, anyway? I think immigrants and the blame for terrorism probably nudged it that way. It certainly came as a surprise to the financial markets this morning though.
  13. You could try crafting 2x cosmics which might be a little more money: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Money_making_guide/Crafting_cosmic_runes . You'll probably end up with a little less since you don't have the agility level for the shortcuts. Assuming you haven't completed the Elder Kiln quest, you can use ring of kinship or a clan vexillum to bank instead. You can also take advantage of dailies like making vis wax and buying broad arrowheads (after Smoking Kills) and reselling to make a little more money. Other than that I can't think of a whole lot off the top of my head. You can check wiki's general page here for ideas but a lot of them have high requirements/high combat levels to do: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Money_making_guide .
  14. For the helm you need the spiny helmet, earmuffs, nose peg, face mask, and black mask, and then I think a focus sight and hexcrest if you want the bonuses for ranged and magic. You need to have spent the 400 slayer points for the ability as well. I think you may need to do the quests as well, though as I recall they don't have that challenging requirements, just something to maybe try if you get bored. So I guess it is a tad pricey when you add it all up but it is a one-off thing. Generally higher level equipment degrades, either to dust or to a state where you can repair it to coins. From the perspective of slayer weapons may be worthwhile as it speeds things up substantially, or if it is the best available for a few more levels and if you need extra defense. For example, there is mystic armor (nondegradable), subjugation (also nondegradable and better but expensive and 70 defense), and grifolic in between which does degrade. I did not do much slayer at lower combat levels so I am not familiar with how much defense you need to farm your slayer tasks with a reasonable level of efficiency - mystic may be sufficient, you would have to try it out.
  15. Yes, you should always use a slayer helmet on task. If you don't have it, making it should be your first priority as you earn points/money. It provides a bonus in both accuracy and damage when fighting slayer monsters. For melee weapon a godsword is an improvement as a 2h weapon generally clears out slayer mobs faster due to it being able to hit multiple targets with the 2h abilities. If you don't have the money to buy one I would be happy to lend you my SGS if that'll help. Batwing is only t30 armor, so you can do much better for magic defense. Mystic would be the best nondegradable at your level, or grifolic for slightly better defense (but it will degrade back to dust I think). Similarly there is a grifolic wand/orb (or abyssal wand/orb) if you want to upgrade magic weapon. For ranged you have the best armor available at your level. However a better (affordable) choice of weapon might be a black salamander, as it's t70 and will have much improved accuracy over rune c'bows. There are better weapons (armadyl c'bows, zaryte bow, etc.) but they are more expensive. A good next investment would be a blood fury, though it is rather expensive and requires upkeep.
  16. What do you mean by that? Culd you elaborate? What kind of shock are you talking about? When you have (rich) people buying a hundred bonds, the demand pushes up prices. When bond prices increase by a few million players who regularly buy and consume them have a harder time keeping up. Some will be unable or unwilling to keep it up and drop membership and/or quit for a while. It's just meh...
  17. Thank goodness to be honest, the market doesn't need that sort of shock again (which I assume is the reason).
