While i'm noticing more people attempting to scam now with the release of free trade, I make sure I pay more attention now than ever before, with each and every trade I make. I wait atleast 3-5 seconds and make sure the trade is good before accepting the 2nd trade window. I have already come across someone who attempted to take away the money offer for one of my items. When that happens, I just wait until they cancel the trade because they tried to scam me AND waste my time. Edit: I remember a similar topic like this on the rs forums. A player suggested bringing back the red line. The red line used to be a feature in trading where, if an item was taken away or changed, a red line would appear where the change occured, then slowly go away after a few seconds. It was REALLY helpful.

We have dark beasts at level 90 though, and ice strykewyrms at 93, so it would have to require either level 95, 97 or 99 slayer. If the player does not have the level required to kill the abyssal queen (and her minions), it would be an incentive to train slayer. There are plenty more suggestions out there for lower slayer monsters, it's just the abyssal queen isn't one of them ;-) thanks for your comments! :thumbup: Hmm on the previous page it was mentioned that the abyssal queen would require a team to kill it, however it would be hard to find teams with a high slayer requirement. I do agree that would need a solution. I would like the abyssal queen to be solo'able, so perhaps the difficulty could be adjusted, though still hard enough to only get say 4-10 kills per trip with a team and 1-2 solo per trip.

I hope it's true. I do think Nex needs to be nerfed so that she's easier to kill. At this rate, the average Joe will never be able to obtain a piece of Torva for example. Also, if this is how expensive level 85 armour is, I hate to think how much levels 90/95/99 armour will be :ohnoes: I just want the torva platebody though because it looks epic :thumbup:

This. Usually each article I read I always end up viewing both sides of the story and being comfortable with my decision or perspective for that particular topic. With this article I somehow feel attacked just for voting 'yes', which makes me not want to read any articles anymore :-( Just my 2 cents for feedback :thumbup:

Yes. I am glad I voted yes. I don't have my bank cleaned, and that's because I follow the rules and would never bot :-) I have never been hacked either, and plan on keeping it that way :shades: I too, laughed at those who got cleaned for cheating, good riddance. The article seems pretty one sided, ending it with 'Are you happy now?' just makes us feel bad for voting 'yes' when in fact we are all entitled to our own opinion.

I'm loving those ideas. It would be great for the abyssal queen to require technique like that, and as you guys say perhaps barbarian assault/pest control-type tactics. I like the idea of having forcefields or shields that you have to take down, I'm all for that! As suggested, shields which move/rotate so you are constantly having to re-adjust to slay her :thumbup:

I wish I could like dungeoneering, I really do, but even with a great team, the glorified minigame is just so boring (for me anyway). If they made alternative ways to train the skill maybe I would be interested. Until then, I'm training it with lamps + effigies. You can now quote and flame me for my opinion.

I can't see the ashes update being better than bones, but it will be a good addition to prayer. Any additional ways of gaining xp is a :thumbup: in my book :-)

I have played Runescape for 9 years now and have ALWAYS played by the rules. It is why I have never been hacked, muted or banned AND I have a clean record! So to me, this is a big slap in the face for being honest, loyal and trustworthy to Jagex. Trust me, I am all for second chances, however to release the worst of the worst offenders is just too much for me. I am seriously considering stopping reporting on any and all rule breakers I see in the game from now on, as I feel the leniency of their dishonesty will only increase with time and this new feature doesnt help it the slightest. Unless Jagex can enlighten me as to why I should continue reporting players bad behaviour, I feel 'being good' is all for nothing :-(

I don't understand the reasoning behind this. If you're permanently banned for breaking the rules, that should be the end of the story. It sometimes makes me question why I continue to report rule breakers when they get handed so many jail free cards.

Has anyone managed to snipe an expensive item for real cheap yet?

I got the max kill count once, it was a waste of time. Just got runes. These days I go for 2-4 creature kills before going to the chest, it seems to work well.

I'll be in the 10% also. Sci-fi games aren't my thing, at all. I like sci-fi, only in movies... :-D

Not really into space-like games. I like Runescape, Guild Wars and Fable, that's pretty much it really :-/ so I won't be affected by Stellar Dawn :shades: Edit: What's this about no more runescape updates in 2012? o_O

Sorry for your loss :-( Like others said, having a bank pin etc. really helps. In 9 years of playing Runescape I've never been hacked because of my account security. Also if you have the hacker's IP address, you could always ask Jagex to investigate the matter and provide them with as much information as possible. They won't be able to return any items, but they may be able to punish the hacker in terms of blackmarks/ban etc. hope that helps! Hmmm I always wondered this. I couldn't stand playing Runescape without a mouse or with the screen not being fixed on a desk or surface though :-/ a laptop would probably be ideal for me. Awesome that you can do that though :thumbup:

I have no idea what is going to happen on this either :-/ It makes me wonder though. With free trade and all, will the tzhaar shops be like they used to? Like the old days where onyx gems would cost 270k tokkul, and where runes were exchangable for tokkul. I'm certainly holding off buying an amulet of fury :thumbup:
